Located in the heart of Sebastopol, The Persimmon Rose is a newly renovated 3-bedroom, 2½-bath 2100sqft home. With its mix of classic farmhouse charm and modern comfort, this beautifully appointed home is perfect for families or friends looking for a relaxing getaway or a convenient base for exploring Sonoma County. Whether you're here for wine tasting, outdoor activities, or just to relax, you'll find everything you need for a memorable stay.



The Space:

Upon stepping into the home, you’re immediately welcomed by the warmth of the living room. This area is divided into two inviting spaces — one side features a TV, coffee table and a super comfortable couch, where you can kick back and enjoy your favorite shows. On the other side, you’ll find a full-sized (double) daybed with a twin trundle next to the fireplace. This side of the living room also features an interactive play-zone designed for young children. You’ll love the reading chair where you can snuggle up with a book while watching the flickering candles in the fireplace.



The kitchen and dining area is equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, while the large dining table is perfect for gatherings. The bright, open space is fully stocked with premium pots, pans, and appliances, creating the perfect setting for cooking and sharing meals together.



As you walk down the hall, you’ll find two inviting bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed. The master bedroom is a true retreat, featuring a vanity, an adjustable workspace, and an ensuite bathroom designed for relaxation, complete with a luxurious shower, bidet-equipped toilet, and plush linens. The second bedroom also offers a king-sized bed, a dedicated desk for remote work, and direct access to the patio, garden, and hot tub.



Between these two rooms, the third bedroom is thoughtfully designed for children or additional guests, with a twin bed and a pull-out trundle. With a dresser, chair, and large closet, this space is ideal for families traveling together, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to rest.



The main bathroom offers a deep, luxurious bathtub, a spa-like shower, double sinks, and another bidet-equipped toilet. Here you’ll find the perfect setting for refreshing after a day of exploring. For added convenience, there’s an additional half-bathroom and a laundry room available for guests.



The patio off the living room and third bedroom invite you to dine alfresco, enjoy the hot tub, relax in the outdoor seating and enjoy the garden. The roses, seasonal wildflowers, and fruit trees provide a beautiful backdrop for your Sonoma County memories and we warmly welcome you to enjoy this outdoor space. For those who’d like to keep up their fitness, there is a dirt track around the perimeter of the fenced yard you’re welcome to use for walking or jogging.



Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the entire home, including the living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and laundry. Outside, enjoy the private patio, hot tub, garden, outdoor dining area, and fenced yard with a walking/jogging track. The property is yours to enjoy throughout your stay.



The Neighborhood:

Nestled just on the outskirts of Sebastopol and a short block away from Ragle Ranch Park, you’ll find yourself near the best of what West Sonoma County has to offer. You can easily venture out to explore the neighbourhood with Pacific Market, Mombos Pizza, Sebastopol Hardware, and Fandees Restaurant, all within walking distance. A short drive away brings you to several renowned wineries, breweries, cafes, and restaurants. Guests will receive a digital house manual that’s filled with our recommendations.



Getting Around:

With its central location, The Persimmon Rose is just minutes from downtown Sebastopol, offering easy access to local shops, restaurants, and attractions. The area is bikeable with wide bike lanes leading to a network of multi-use trails. For those who want to walk, they’ll find a regional park, grocery store, pizzeria and more within walking distance.



Other Things to Note:

To maintain the condition of the home and for the comfort of future guests, we have a strict no-pet policy. Legally recognized service animals are the only exception. If you’re visiting with a service animal, please let us know before you arrive. Thank you for your understanding.



-Please respect the quiet hours from 9:00 P.M to 7:00 A.M, especially when using outdoor areas. We ask that all guests keep the property tidy and be mindful of our lovely neighbors.

-Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.



📌To ensure a seamless check-in, all guests must complete a quick pre-check-in verification through our secure guest portal; a link will be sent after your booking is confirmed.

📌Please note that during the rainy season (typically October through March), outdoor furniture cushions are stored away to protect them from the elements and ensure they remain clean and dry. Consequently, outdoor seating may not be set up as pictured during these months.

Girls trip to Napa

A group of us stayed here for a 50th birthday celebration to go wine tasting in Sonoma and Napa. We had an absolute blast! The property was perfect for our group of 7. Plenty of room and space. We enjoyed the hot tub every night! We loved the amount of clean towels and toiletries provided for us. The town of Sebastopol was cute with so many restaurants and shops around. We would definitely visit and stay again!

We enjoyed the bright, light open living/kitchen/family space. Check in and arrival procedures were clear and easy. Everything was clean and comfortable. The garden space and size was enjoyable in the middle of a neighborhood. Most of all we appreciated the location-there is a park, restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. We even walked all the way into town which is easily done with sidewalk access the entire way. Another huge plus was the great communication and the quick response via message and action to addressing a shower drain issue we had. Would happily book this location again when in Sebastopol.

This home surpassed all expectations. A beautifully landscaped front and back yard are lovely extensions of a gorgeous open home. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The host thoughtfully provided multiple types of coffee and multiple well-functioning coffee makers. The bathrooms had plenty of supplies for four adults and two teenagers. The washer/dryer were excellent and new - easily handling a few loads of laundry while we are there. The beds fostered excellent nights of sleep for our whole party. Ye house is located close to multiple restaurants, grocery stores, a large park, and a very fun local street. We would have happily stayed forever.
