Enjoy this tastefully decorated and updated 2 bedroom Carolina Beach Rental located directly across the street from the ocean. Pull up to the bright turquoise Condominiums and enter the two bedroom, two bath Unit located on the first floor. With two Decks to sit and enjoy the outdoor weather and views on, one overlooking the pool, you'll be able to enjoy the outdoors as well as inside the Condo. Tides 2 E1 is spacious and well furnished with recent updates that you can be sure to appreciate. For your use, the Unit provides a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, microwave, dishwasher, Smart TV’s (no cable provided, there is Hulu), and Wifi. Be sure to notice that your family dog is welcome in this Unit! (Dogs exceeding 45 lbs are not permitted per the Homeowners request). Tides 2 is located on the north end of the Island just a short drive from the Boardwalk where you will find a vast variety of restaurants, shops and more!

Will not be returning

The dishwasher broke the first night of our week stay. A technician was sent over, but could not repair; therefore we washed dishes by hand. The owner did give a small refund for the inconvenience. The bathroom sink was slow to drain and there was no closest in the master bedroom. There was a small closet in the 2nd bedroom, but no hangers. In addition, the carpet was stained and dirty. There was no hot tub, which was stated as having one on the listing. We were not able to talk directly to the owner and needed to communicate through the realtor, which was not expected.

We did send our appliance repair technician twice to address the dishwasher issue; unfortunately, a necessary part had to be ordered, which could not arrive in time for your visit. We appreciate your patience and were glad to offer a refund for the inconvenience. Regarding your other concerns, we will have our team check the bathroom sink drain and ensure closets are equipped with hangers for future guests. We were not aware of any carpet stains. We deeply regret the confusion about the hot tub and have updated the listing to accurately reflect the amenities offered. We understand your frustration about having to communicate through our management team rather than directly with the owner; we strive to provide timely and effective assistance through our representatives and are always available to help. Thank you again for your feedback — it helps us improve our guests’ experiences going forward.

Premium Price, Lacking the Premium ExperienceThis was our 5th summer in Carolina Beach, but our first booking with Network Real Estate (NRE). The guest experience fell way short of their premium price tag.Logistics felt outdated; NRE hit us with a surprise agreement to e-sign after our VRBO booking finalized and the cancellation window passed, plus a mistaken 150 pet fee. Instead of keyless entry, you must drive to their office for physical keys. They also charge a 100 cash lockout fee, claiming they need a locksmith, yet the door uses a Kwikset lock easily rekeyed with a 5 tool. This feels like a cash grab.Arrival was equally frustrating. 1/3 of the parking spaces are so tight my SUV got a scratched fender. Inside, linens were left in a duffel bag, forcing us to make our own beds. No trash bags were provided, and the pool code was weeks out of date, locking us out all weekend.Furthermore, rules state the AC must stay at 75, which is absurd. Housekeeping also failed: we found sand on furniture, stained carpets, and two pizza boxes left in the oven.They did handle a hot water outage quickly, but a premium price requires a premium experience. Unfortunately, we’ll look elsewhere next summer.
