Hermosa casa de campo 'rústico' aprox. A 20 minutos en coche del aeropuerto de Málaga y Marbella, consta de amplio salón con chimenea, comedor y cocina abierta, dos habitaciones dobles y baño familiar. Una casa de huéspedes separada proporciona la tercera habitación doble, cuarto de baño, y la nueva habitación para niños y cuarto de baño constituye la cuarta habitación.

El acceso a la gran terraza cubierta realmente impresionante desde la cocina es la sala de estar central de verano para toda la propiedad que incluye barbie a gas, cocina al aire libre, JACUZZI PARA ADULTOS SOLAMENTE, una mesa de billar y áreas de comedor y sillones (sofás) con sistema de música y abrir fuego de leña.

Desde la piscina al aire libre hay vistas del valle desde una plataforma de observación donde puede disfrutar del amanecer o el atardecer o simplemente usarlo para tomar el sol en la cama doble 'chill out' completa con techo, cojines marroquíes y cortinas de privacidad. O descansar con una bebida en el columpio para 2.
La propiedad está terminada con los más altos estándares y cuenta con aire acondicionado en medidores programados, a un costo de 1 euro por 1. 5 horas, acceso a internet (se requiere computadora portátil / tableta). DVD, sistema de música, terraza cubierta, mesa de billar, jacuzzi (SOLO PARA ADULTOS), tablero de dardos y piscina al aire libre.

La nueva habitación para niños y la ducha / WC aumentan el alojamiento, por lo que se puede alojar un total de 10-12 personas de manera muy cómoda pero no totalmente adecuada para 6 parejas. Se preferiría una mezcla de adultos y niños debido al número de camas individuales.

Todas las sábanas y toallas (incluidas las toallas de playa / piscina) se proporcionan y tienen un costo en el alquiler semanal.

Habrá un depósito de garantía retornable de £ 400 que se pagará con el saldo final y antes de recoger las llaves y que se devolverá a la salida siempre que no haya roturas o daños a la propiedad.

Un automóvil es una necesidad absoluta ya que la casa está ubicada en la cima de una montaña y en un calor de 40 grados es imposible caminar al supermercado y llevar las compras de una semana a pesar de que la ciudad más cercana está a solo 8 minutos en automóvil de la casa .

Our holiday at the wooden chalet in the hills of Andalusia was absolutely wonderful. Nestled just 30 minutes from the beach, the chalet offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation. Amazing stay in this fantastic villa. The host couldn't have been more accommodating. The villa is exactly as shown in the photos. It's an amazing space with all the amenities you could ask for. Everyone loved the pool and the outside terrace where we ate and played and danced! Fabulous!! Cannot recommend this villa and the hosts enough, Rick & Annie went above and beyond to accommodate us. 5* stay. Area amazing, plenty to do and would come back again tomorrow!!

Fantastic Villa, great stay

Our family stayed end of August 2022 for two weeks. Rick and Annie are lovely hosts who really make an effort to make you feel like guests. Fantastic outdoor area and we had many great evenings spent around the pool and playing the games. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, if you want a relaxing stay getting away from it all, we can all highly recommend this Villa.

Beautiful retreat

We just returned from a great stay at the villa. We were a group of 8 ranging from age 11 to 77. We all loved the villa and there was plenty to keep everyone entertained from the swimming pool, hot tub and games area. Rick and Annie were perfect hosts and were always happy to help with local information and restaurant recommendations. We hope to visit again in the future.

We have just left this gorgeous villa, and Rick and Annie are amazing hosts. Nothing was too much. Their recommendations were excellent, so much so we enjoyed a meal together on our last night in their favourite restaurant.The house, pool and the annex are exactly what you see via the app. It really did exceed our expectations. We didn't use the living room, but sat by the pool or in the outdoor kitchen area on an evening. The pool table and dart board were well used throughout our stay, and kept everyone entertained.I can't recommend this property enough.We had an amazing time !Thanks again for your hospitality R&A

A really relaxing stay with amazing views

Really relaxing - brilliant amenities and outstanding views! Watching the sunrise from the veranda was such a wonderful experience. Lots to entertain the children- swimming pool, darts and a pool table to name a few. Annie and Rick were so helpful- there to answer any of our queries and to help in any way they could. The drive up the mountain is a bit daunting at first but once you’re used to it - it’s easy. I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful villa with incredible views

We have just returned from an amazing week at the villa. The villa and grounds are beautiful (the photos don’t do it justice) and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was a good size and kept the children entertained for hours and we loved chilling out in the covered veranda area in the evenings. The drive up to the villa is very steep, however this was not a problem once we had got used to this and it did mean that there were incredible views from the terrace at the top. Rick and Annie were great hosts - they were really helpful and answered all of our questions. Overall a great week in a beautiful place!

Fantastic 5 star stay

We’ve just returned from an amazing stay at this villa. The pictures do not do it justice. From the very beginning everything to do with the villa was great. The villa hosts, Annie and Rick, were great. Brilliant communication including meeting us to take us directly to the villa. The villa itself is fantastic; so much to do and very well equipped….there was something for everyone! Was great being able to spend our days by the pool then bbq and play pool and darts outside in the evening! The views from the villa were spectacular…enjoyed catching the morning sunrise from the terrace. Thank you Annie and Rick….we’ll defo be back x

Wonderful stay in fantastic surroundings

We were a family of 10 (7 adults and 3 children) on holiday at this amazing place for 15 days - there was plenty of room for all of us. The place has postcard views in all directions. The house has entertainment at all times of the day (and night). At the same time, there is a fantastic viewing platform / terrace where you can relax with a good book or just enjoy the view. Everything just worked perfectly from start to finish - we experienced absolutely no problems. Rick - the host - was very helpful with recommendations for places to eat, experiences, etc. We have often said to ourselves after a holiday that we must visit this place again - this time we are absolutely sure that it will happen :-) Thanks for a wonderful stay, Engelbreth family

A very beautiful mountain hideaway

A lovely week in a fun, clean and quirky cabin in the mountains. Lots of games and things to do for the kids (and adults) and a very refreshing pool. Everything was well equipped and the views were lovely. Rick and Annie were really helpful throughout. My only criticism, (and this is probably just because we had a freak 42c heatwave) was that one couple’s rooms just had a fan and didn’t have air con and they found it a little hot, but our room was lovely and cold! Location as advertised, it’s at the top of a mountain and you need to drive to get about anywhere, but we just did a few trips to the supermarket and had a wonderful time just bbqing and having pool side drinks. Nice to get away from the manic tourist areas and there’s restaurants about a five min drive that are really pleasant and good Value. A genuinely refreshing property, definitely one of a kind and a memorable trip for everyone :)

Family holiday

We had fun at the property making the most of great weather. Rick and Annie met us a 5 min drive away and what a drive ! Maybe a 4x4 is needed ? Air in not available in one bedroom and with weather 35-40 oC not ideal . Felt right at home though and linen etc clean and fresh . Hot water for showers was erratic, and gas BBQ felt outdated and dangerous . Rick was responsive with toilet and gas cylinder issues. Unfortunately the day he went to hospital we all started to turn green in the pool including hair , bodies and clothes ? A chemical imbalance . Didn’t spoil our fun as a family 3 generations . A good size pool and lots of activities such as pool and darts at the property! Thank you and we wish you well in the future now you have decided to sell up

Perfect setting !

We are home after 9 Nights at this beautiful place with stunning views. Rick and Annie are amazing and so so helpful. When we arrived, there was a little added excitement…due to a fire on the mountain but thankfully was got under control and we were able to enjoy our holiday. Rick was brilliant and kept us informed of how the situation was going. Anything you need or any questions you have Rick and Annie are there to assist. The cabin has everything you want on a holiday, a true home from home feel. Our kids were aged 7-20 and all loved the pool day and night fun! Not to mention the darts, hot tub, outdoor dining and pool table too! The location also is fantastic 30 mins pretty much from everywhere. We had a great day out at the lake recommended by Rick and Annie… absolutely must, so beautiful. Hopefully we will return soon. 😊☀️

An absolute gem

The lodge is an absolute gem. Difficult to find but when you do it will blow your mind. You are in the campo so expect some of the campo to come and meet you. This was more than our expectations were and would book again if we need to. The facilities are spot on for a family. When the host say a car is essential, they mean a car is Essential although once ensconced in, there is enough to do for whatever length of stay you have. At night from the viewing deck, you look over the entire town of Alhaurin el Grande, and look up to see a full network of stars and watch shooting stars. Just brilliant. We went as a family including 8 and 10 year olds but also 15 and 19 years old and were not bored for one minute. Brilliant! The only negative is that not all of the bedrooms have fully functioning air con and that would have been a real plus. However it did not spoil our break. Do not think twice about booking. You will not be disappointed.

Family holiday July 2019

Just back from a week at this villa with my 2 daughters and their families- 13 in total. A bit apprehensive about it all as it was our first villa holiday but everyone absolutely loved it. It is a bit away from everywhere but we had a small car to drive to the local town of Coín for shopping- it had a Lidl and a large mercadona supermarket. We ventured into benelmadena 2 nights out of our stay using a local minibus company who were brilliant aswell. We had kids ranging from 10 to 21 and they all said it was they’re best holiday ever. Just spending time with the family around the pool during the day and lazing in the hot tub and eating from the bbq in the evening was wonderful. Having no one else around to bother you - being able to jump in the pool when you wanted - even late in the evenings -was brilliant. The WiFi helped aswell when some of them wanted to just go and sit on their phones catching up with friends. Satellite tv was great aswell. There was definitely something to keep everyone happy and rick was on hand should we need him but there were absolutely no problems while we were there. No one wanted to go home and we would love to go back - thanks rick and Annie for allowing us to spend time in your wonderful retreat.

Casa preciosa trato nefasto

Casa muy bonita,tal y como en las fotos.Lo malo el acceso de camino para llegar a ella y destacar pesimo trato del propietario Rick,ya que por no sacar 3 bolsas de basura(pagando servicio de limpieza)alce la voz de esa manera.No volveria por ese motivo

Unfortunately these guests had no respect for our holiday home, whereas we tried to accommodate them from the moment they arrived, Indeed we allowed them to check in at 09.00 hrs instead of 16.00 hrs. giving them an extra day's holiday. On the departure date however they were unwilling to depart at the arranged time so that we could give the cleaners some extra time to do the change over. The house and outside areas needed a thorough cleaning together with the removal of dozens of cigarette butts strewn around the property along with 3 large bin sacks that were leaking of food waste and cooking oil which had been left for the whole week of their stay. The BBQ was left in a disgraceful state and hadnt been cleaned or any oil removed from it during their stay. The guests had obviously not read the details of the house explaining that the house is in the Campo at the top of the mountain and the track is not tarmaced all the lenght of the track, but is adequete to drive to the house. Again it is unfortunate to have to write such a review when we have been renting our holiday let for over15 years AND NOT ONE OTHER BAD REVIEW HAS EVER BEEN WRITTEN.

Vacaciones estupendas

La casa y zonas exteriores son una maravilla, con mil detalles(mejor que en las fotos), cocina super equipada. Todo lo que uno pueda necesitar y mas. Los propietarios son muy amables, no hablan español. La casa está un poco alejada y la carretera para llegar es mala, marcadona y Lidl cercano10minutos. Muy fresquito por la noche(se duerme bien menos en la casa que está aparte que es muy calurosa) Los aires acondicionados son de pago. Son unas vacaciones para pasar en la casa sin salir demasiado con amigos y/o familiares, ya que los pueblos de al lado no tienen mucha actividad (Coín y Alhaurín el grande) Nosotros lo hemos pasado genial y esperamos volver otro año, nos ha gustado mucho.

Hello Javi and friends and family, thank you for your review of your holiday and we care so happy that you all enjoyed your holidays and that you would like to come back next year. We note your remark about the track but in reality its just like any track in the Campo especially going up to the top of the mountain. As we said to you, that you only need to drive it once and you become familiar with it and it becomes the norm. I'm sorry to hear that you felt Alhaurin el Grande and Coin were very quiet in the evenings, we have always found the bars and restaurants are always busy in the holiday season and so the atmosphere is very good. Of course the towns are not as bustling as on the Coast, where drinks and meals are much more expensive than in the smaller Spanish towns. Thanks again and hope to see you again very soon. Buen lugar

La casa una pasada, el camino hasta ella es un poco lioso y con muchas cuestas pero nada del otro mundo, aire acondicionado de pago (un defecto), ya cuesta mucho dinero de por sí alquilarla... controlaria nidos de avispa, en el billar dentro hay uno, y localizar las avispas que hay de casi 4cm de largo, unas bestias, por lo demas, pasamos una semana fantastica la casa esta muy bien y no es necesario ni salir de ella para disfrutar, la recomiendo muchisimo

No hemos podido elegir mejor alojamiento. Tanto mi familia como yo hemos estado en la gloria. Lugar muy tranquilo, limpio, bonito, porque las vistas son preciosas. Los dueños de la casa Annie y Rick de diez. Cualquier problema o duda lo solucionaban en un momento. Super agradables y serviciales. No puedo poner pegas a un lugar en el que hemos estado como en casa. Annie y Rick, volveremos!! Gracias por todo.

Property consists of outdoor 8 x 4 pool which was refurbished at the beginning of 2018 and Indoor jacuzzi and pool table and darts board and exercise machine. Gas Barbecue and outdoor kitchen as well as outdoor dining and seating area for relaxation. There is also a double bed with privacy curtains on the unique decking overlooking the mountain towards Mijas.
