Escape to this Cozy Cottage in the Woods near picturesque Petoskey, MI. This cozy retreat features 2 bedrooms - one with a bunk bed (and oversized lower mattress) and the other with a queen bed. With 2 bathrooms and a lovely living room with a sofa bed. Guests will find comfort and convenience along with a firepit and grill. Enjoy the pleasant surroundings and modern amenities like AC, WiFi, microwave and a washer dryer. 7 miles to the Petoskey Gas Light district. 9 miles to the closest ski resort. 11 miles to Harbor Springs, 8 Miles to Lake Michigan. 3 Miles to great kayaking and fishing. 4 miles to closest snowmobile trail. 10 miles to world class trout fishing. 4 miles to hundreds of acres of open, state owned forest. After falling in love with the scenery, four-season activities, and small-town feel of Petoskey, we made the decision to move here 9 years ago from Nebraska. We decided to tear down the small hunting shack where our property sits and put up a tiny home to make use of for out-of-town guests.

Despite its secluded feel, this charming retreat is conveniently located on Mitchell Road, offering the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility. It's an ideal spot for those who crave a peaceful escape without being too far from the conveniences of modern life. You will have access to two kayaks and two bicycles for your pleasure as you explore the trails and rivers/lakes around us.
