Este condominio de primera clase tiene una gran, proyectado en el balcón frente a la playa y el Golfo de México. Habrá un gran recuerdo de las espectaculares vistas de los atardeceres. Could use a better shower head in the master bath. Upgraded patio doors, unfortunately the Living room doors do not allow a wheelchair access to the balcony.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I love dealing with all the folks at Resort Rentals they make the rental process easy. The unit we stayed in is a bit dated - it could use some color and texture to make it feel more welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen was not well equipped, we prepare most of our own meals rather than eat out. Having to use a key to access the beach and pool area was a bit annoying but, the location and view are Spectacular!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall. Condo was clean and there were plenty of starter supplies there until we could get to the store. The master toilet wasn’t working when we got there, but we called for service and the problem was fixed right away. The price is fair and the location is perfect! It is less than a mile from John’s Pass, and there are many great restaurants close by. This was our 5 th time staying at Villa Madeira and our 3rd time staying in #204. Over the years we have taken advantage of the many activities near by: mini golf, movies, jet skiing, dolphin watching, even day trips to Disney. There are grocery stores close by as well as many well- known restaurants. The only things I would suggest: to have a rollicking bag cooler and/or a wagon in the condo so that it would be easier to transport items to the beach, and to have a shower seat available in the shower for handicapped or elderly guests. I do like the fact that it has a walk in shower in the master bath. This was convenient for my dad. Just difficult because there was no seat. But overall, it was a great experience! I will definitely be back!

It was okay

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach was second to none, However the condo was dirty. And, the people who are on the homeowner association board were extremely rude... told my stepson who just drove 13 hours to move along when he arrived. My stepson was looking for my wife and I, to get a parking pass. And the old man told him he needed to get back in his car and move along....REALLY, AFTER DRIVING THAT LONG TO GO ON VACATION!!!!! Apparently they were rude to people all week as well, not exactly what you want while on vacation!!! Did like the pool, the sand and gulf were incredible. The condo was a little out dated, the master bed was really uncomfortable. They seem to have this new policy in place, where you have to have a key to go the beach, go to the pool, and enter the building... that got pretty old after the first day. The elevator was broke down for half the week as well, thank goodness we were in the second floor . John's pass was awesome!!! So yeah it was just OKAY!!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Same location annually for 20+ years. Condo condition was fine, but the horrible smell of dirty mop lingered for days. Our condo was not ready exactly at 3:00 so it was most likely the last one cleaned for that day, and probably cleaned with dirty water and mop. The master bathroom smell was the worse. Improved smell after cleaning with tile and mildew cleaner from Winn Dixie and running the shower every day for 3 or 4 days, and airing out the condo. The furniture, counters, and appliances were all clean. The washer and dryer were very nice and new looking. Just the smell which we thought would go away after one day but did not.

We rented a condo due to dietary issues in our family and found that there were a few missing essentials in the kitchen - corkscrew, scissors and pot holders, but we improvised. We were unable to get the DVD player to work, but that was a very minor inconvenience.

The lodging was fairly well up today and the amenities are decent. You have to use a key to get everywhere and so that was not always the most convenient. We would stay here again.

Floors dirty, food and general debris under sofas, patio with cigarettes and ashes on floor old food on floor, ice maker frozen up. Sofas smelled like vomit, both of them. Nothing in condo to clean with, normally some cleaning agents on hand, this one had nothing, not even a sweeper. Shower drains with lots of hair etc.

However, there were several issues that need to be addressed before I would recommend this property. The mattresses were extremely hard which made it hard to sleep. We woke up sore most mornings. We had to buy 3 pillows from a local store to have enough for our family. The dishwasher was not working and hadn't worked for a while. This forced us to hand wash dishes. It took two days for a repairman to look at the dishwasher after we notified the property manager. Condo was not well equipped.

Construction filled week

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice room upon entering. Then when it was time for bed. The master bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable, the toilet ran all night and you could hear the clock ticking from the other room. If you shut the door to block the noise it gets very warm in the room. Then on Monday. The construction starts. Was never told about any construction. They blocked off all the stairwells to put in new stairs. One stairwell was outside our entrance door. It was sooooo loud you could not even stay in the room to rest or watch TV. My daughter and husband got a sunburn and had to stay in the room and they said it was horrible to listen to the noise all day. Then they were also painting he exterior of the building and sometimes the entrance/exit (there is only 1) and you had to wait on them to move their equipment. Then on the last day trying to get the room cleaned and get us packed and the air conditioning went out and it got up to 84 degrees in the room. We called and reported it and it was fixed within 2-3 hours. Also the cable, phone and Internet would go out quite often. Not sure if it was due to the construction..

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was unaware of construction going on during our stay (BIG INCONVENIENCE & VERY LOUD.) Got woke up early every morning due to someone hammering around our door for construction. Sliding glass doors whistled the entire time wind was blowing (VERY FRUSTRATING). Not a lot of cookware. Floors could have been cleaner. Internet was extremely slow. Only 1 elevator which was very slow as well. Looking elsewhere for next year.

Not all it's cracked up to be

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was under construction and had to park a block away. Wasn't able to use balcony due to scaffolding up and down all day. Room had numerous burnt out light bulbs and bedding in rooms with twin beds had spots on it. Very dusty and shower had little water pressure. Door to elevator would barely open with key and had to really work to get it unlocked. If you were lucky someone would open it from inside for you.

Nice Girl's Getaway

Wasn't real impressed with having to drive to everything we wanted to do. And to make it worse, nearly all parking anywhere we went was pay to park. That could get expensive over a week's stay. You could hear people staying in the neighboring units. But, overall, the one we stayed in was more than I expected and the building & grounds were great.

Great Trip
