Everything was very good, except the elevator was not working. Tough hauling luggage up the stairs. Also the thermostat seemed to be controlled remotely. We had it set at 73-74 but we noticed it was down to 69, not knowing how it was dialed down. Other than that a very place to stay. Would stay again.Maybe notify renters of the elevator being inop.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused by the elevator being out of service during your visit. We understand how difficult it can be to carry luggage up the stairs, and we appreciate your suggestion about better communication ahead of time. Since the elevator is managed by the building association, outages can sometimes occur unexpectedly, but we agree that guests should always be promptly informed when they do. Regarding the thermostat, we’re sorry for the confusion and discomfort. Some units do have remote climate monitoring for efficiency and maintenance purposes, but we understand how important it is for guests to feel in full control of their comfort settings. We’ll look into this to ensure clearer communication going forward. Thank you again for your helpful feedback — we truly appreciate it and hope to welcome you back again

Unit is in a good location for getting to other attractions in the area. The unit itself is not well maintained and only given half effort for cleaning. They only left two wash clothes and towels for a two bathroom unit. no beach towels were left at all. and the beach chairs, lets just say I hope you've had a tetanus shot. the elevator only worked for two of our 7 day stay and when it did work, you could hear it run form ANYWHERE on the property. The rental agency was not very professional at all. When we called to ask about parking because we were early and knew we could not get into the unit yet, we were told that all that information would be in the text message we will get at 4pm when the unit was ready.

Excellent location. Beautiful beaches and many restaurants. Condo is spacious and in great condition. But couldn't use the frying pan as the coating was peeling. We would have loved to fry some fish. Master bed was not firm and husband developed a backache and had to sleep in the twin bed. Otherwise no problem with anything else. Will stay there again.

Let me start by saying that our stay was enjoyable, the location was great, the beach was fantastic. Property had significant remodeling since the hurricanes.. Pool / hot tub area is beautiful but the jets didn’t work. The biggest downfall is the elevator. Half the time it didn’t work, so I had to haul our heavy luggage down the stairs. The room itself was nice. It had a full-size washer/dryer (which got used a lot, will explain more); very nice bathrooms. Closet of beach items; chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, kids toys and a couple of coolers. We rented chairs/ umbrella on beach, but used the noodles and cooler every day. The unit had a great screened in porch, a nice table, chairs and 2 adirondack chairs. West side had room darkening drapes, east side, 2nd bedroom only had a blind and hallway light right outside was so bright all night, it really made it hard to sleep. Neither of us had room to bring our pillows and the ones there just plain suck.Now for the biggest issues we had. The thermostat in the property was impossible to control. The bigger issue was the humidity in the unit. It was 85% for the first 4-5 days.. why we used the w/d so much our towels would never dry! I found a dehumidifier, but it was so loud so we only ran when we weren’t there. Evidently the elevator is a recurring issue per tenants. This was our experience, hope it helps.

Wonderful relaxing Vacation

This was a wonderful place to relax at. Listening to the waves and locals coming out to play music while the sunset was very relaxing. The Condo was wonderful, everything we needed to enjoy the atmosphere and unwind

Beautiful Place

The condo was awesome! Very clean and spacious. The appliances seemed to be new and were very nice and worked great. We loved the screened in balcony. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Thanks for a great stay!

Much needed get away!

Arie Dam is perfectly situated in Madeira Beach. This particular unit was fine, but definitely use some TlC compared to others we have stayed in at Arie Dam.

Very nice condo! Would definitely stay again. Only minor issue was the 2 sinks in the master bath drained pretty slowly. Otherwise loved it and would definitely rent again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Arie Dam this year. The resort rentals staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our week in this condo. We would have liked to have had a pizza pan for use but otherwise we were able to prepare our meals upon arrival in the condo.
