7 Days of Sun and Fun!

We really liked our unit, a little dated, but quite lovely. Awesome view of the Gulf! Pool time & beach time were the best times for this family with 2 boys. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The public Boardwalk is a definite plus. This was our second stay at Land's End, and will not be our last.

Constant wet carpet and added smell due to many days of rain. Maintenance and management were excellent in responding. Fans and lights have never been cleaned / dusted , kitchen & main bath very outdated but no issue to us. Pool clean and overall pleasant stay.

Reviewer Comments: this is a beautiful property and a very nice condo with a great view of the gulf. Pool is large and well maintained. Our problem was all the maintenance being done and could get no peace or quiet. Monday at the pool, they decided to jackhammer the hot tub and wasn't available the rest of the week. Every morning between 7:30 and 8:00 AM was awakened by tree trimming, mowing and various other forms of power tool torture. We have high stressed jobs and was really looking for peace and quiet but got none.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 4th year staying at Land's End. We like the property and its location. We have never had a problem that wasn't resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. They are strict about the pool/spa rules and don't allow horseplay. That's good and bad, well bad for the kids. This resort has a secluded feel as it is at the end of Sunset Beach. The pool bathrooms were closed at the end of our stay but we heard they are renovating the bathrooms and the pool area so we should see some improvements next year. We stay on the beach side so we never hear any of the reported noise coming from the bars across the water on the weekends.

Lovely vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this property could not have been better! It had the most amazing views that I have ever seen. We often saw dolphins jumping out of the gulf while we were dining on the very large balcony. The condo size, amenities, layout was great. They provided beach chairs and umbrellas that were in good condition. New furniture in the master bedroom and what seemed to be new mattresses was very much appreciated. The kitchen was well-equipped (pots, cutlery etc.). Now for the major issue was with the cleanliness of the condo. The shower in the kids bathroom was not clean. The shower door and shower/tub surround had quite a bit of dark mildew accumulation. It is very unpleasant. My girls took showers with their flip flops on! I tried to scrub it off with the little cleaning products provided, but I still couldn't get it all off. I know that the manager of the condo will say "why did we not complain" but at this price cleanliness should be a given. The master bathroom is very dated and had a lot of dust accumulation around the vanity lights. I think that at $1,400/week the condo should have been spotless.I agree with the comments made by others in that the condo is looking a little tired. Also, on a personal note the beige carpet in the dining room was a killer for me. I was so worried about getting the carpet dirty that we ate on the balcony for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Tile is a cleaner, no fuss alternative that guests would appreciate. Also the carpet in the master bathroom (vanity area) is dirty. It really should be switched out for tile.Next time I would probably rent a smaller (less expensive), but renovated condo. Although, we really enjoyed our stay, I don't think that this condo was worth $1,400/week. I would recommend this condo if the owners made a few updates and ensured the cleanliness of condo.

Love Lands End and loved this unit!

I had a wonderful stay in this unit. Lands End is quickly becoming my favorite place to stay in St Pete when visiting my son at college. The living room furniture was super comfy but my favorite spot was sitting in the various furniture options on the balcony drinking my coffee in the morning and taking in the breathtaking sunsets in the evening. Thank you for having me. Can’t wait to return!

Vacation Review

It was an awesome stay. This was our third stay with Lands End and we loved our condo. Clean, beautiful views, close to beach and pool. The only thing that we did not enjoy was the elevator in our building was down for a few days and they also painted while we were there and we were encouraged to move our car from assigned parking area. Overall it was a great vacation and perfect rental.

The air conditioning doesn’t get to the master bedroom well. We had to run the bedroom fan to be able to sleep. Anything more than a sheet to sleep under and you would be too uncomfortable to sleep. Living room gets very cool, but the cool air doesn’t flow correctly into master bedroom. The bedroom stays hot. There is a dust rabbit in the exhaust fan in the master bathroom. Also, condo needs some dusting on light fixtures. Someone needs to check for trash around the boardwalks. I saw a towel and trash such as beer bottles and cans there as well. This property is much too pretty to let trash stay there like that . These items had been there for a while.We have stayed at Land’s end for years and will be back even with negative things we dealt with this time.

The property is a gated community, has a great pool and boardwalk and Resort Rentals is an easy and professional company to book through. They are very hands on. Have 2 daughters that live in St. Pete but have always either stayed at ones house or in a hotel. My son was able to come for much of the week and stay with us. The size of the condo was very roomy. Loved every minute spent on the deck looking at the ocean. The pool was excellent...Huge! Parking is easy. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The sofa was so comfortable, I could have slept on it. We just very nice stay and hope to be back often.

Unit needs updating but excellent view and location. Stove didn’t work the first 3 days but property manager responded quickly. We extended our stay a few days and we received a break on the rate due to the stove.
