We like the location to restaurants and shops. We always seem to have some issue but they are handled fairly quickly.

Excellent Property!

We love everything about our stay. It's very clean, well-designed and decorated, all equipment and utilities work (wifi, streaming, kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, etc.). It's very close to the beach and in a great, quiet neighborhood, close to shops and restaurant. Check-in and checkout are smooth. The only thing we hoped to be better was having the check-out at least at noon, not 10am, which is too early.

The condo was perfect for our group of 6. Great renovations the place was well decorated spacious and comfy. There was no extra linen for trundle bed and no pullout sofa.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental with Anchorage was absolutely everything we’d hope it would be and more. The property was absolutely beautiful and spotless!! We felt at home immediately, and it typically takes me a while to feel comfortable while away from home, so that says a lot! The property was stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans and they even left starter rolls of paper towels and toilet paper.The views from each balcony looked right out on the beach and we enjoyed sitting outside day and night just watching and listening to the ocean. We realized some of the outlets in the loft area were not working- called the office and they had maintenance out to fix it very quickly!The only suggestions that I have are to provide whatever specific cleaning chemicals you want used in the bathrooms as some of us prefer to clean out tubs and sinks after every use. Also it might be helpful to define what you consider “excessive cleaning” since it is something folks can get charged for, it might be helpful to clarify your definition.Also, consider more than just a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and having a few more paper towels. They are easier to clean with and more sanitary than a singular sponge.Otherwise and overall our stay was amazing! I HIGHLY recommend this location and will definitely rent from them again. The pictures didn’t do this place justice. It is spectacular! Kudos to Anchorage Rentals, LLC!

Could’ve been a little cleaner but loved it either way. Also it would be nice if we had a larger broom to be able to sweep up the sand. The pool is always so nice and clean. Just would be nice to have umbrellas at the tables. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Little Tight

The property was great. We were just a little disappointed. The property was listed as a 3 bedroom with the third bedroom having a bunk bed and additional bed for a total of 5 beds. There was only 1 bed in each room making the sleeping arrangements a little awkward for 6 men. Other than that the property was great. Well kept and in a great location.

Have stayed at another condo in the Anchorage as well and the stay is always amazing. Highly recommend. Speaking with the property managers is so easy it was incredibly helpful.

The condo we had was very spacious and fully equipped. Was nice to have laundry and full kitchen in the condo. Pool was really good size and just across the street was beautiful beach area. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, there was a stale water smell. We noticed a spider web in the master bedroom sink. There were babies in the web. The bed in the master bedroom (in between the frame and mattress) had lots of dust and dirt, in which we cleaned. The air filter appeared to have not been changed in months. The furnace was EXTREMELY loud. We found roaches in the unit. The drier had to be cleaned out as something was in the bottom of it. We had a problem with the heat not coming on and couldn't be given an ETA as to when someone would be available to check on it. We were kinda left to figure it out. Lighting in the second downstairs bedroom was dim. Soft spots in the floor(some areas). Unit not as updated as expected.

Location, Location, Location... Clean, Quiet, and comfortable

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Anchorage II. Although the facility is a little dated it was clean and comfortable. Everything was in place when we arrived and the communication before, during and after the trip was excellent. Our neighbors during the visit where friendly, The staff kept the common areas clean and well groomed. I/we watched the maintenance man clean the the pool every morning. We had one minor issue administrative issue that the staff dealt with in a mater of minutes. The location of the condo is removed from the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk but has access to plenty of outstanding restaurants. We are already planning our next trip to the area and I am positive we'll stay at the Anchorage Rentals again.

Clean condos, clean pool, and beautiful views. It’s 5-10 minutes away from the grand strand so it’s close enough to enjoy the boardwalk, shops, Ferris wheel ect., yet far enough away so it’s quiet and less crowded. Overall great experience both stays!! Only complaint was they were having some construction done to the siding which made for some noise but it’s nice to see the upkeep.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We did have a great time in Myrtle Beach but there were a few issues that made the vaca less than expected. First no one told us there was construction going on during our stay. We could not sit on the balcony some days due to the dust and noise. No one told us the workers would have to get in the condo. We had to hang in the condo for over 4 hours while they installed a new window in the bedroom. We feel we were mislead due to not being notified of possible construction before we booked. Also, we called maintenance to repair the screen door and the cable connection in the upstairs bedroom and no one came to fix them. Lastly, houskeeping came on 4/1 to clean stating we were supposed to leave by then even though we had rented the condo to 4/7. Then they came again on 4/6. The management needs to review their procedures in these areas. We felt mislead about the construction which made our vaca less enjoyable.

Awesome Week

The only issue , and it was not a deal breaker was that the pool was sometimes overrun by some of the families with children. And, although everyone deserves a vacation the kids were quite unruly at times and the pool was overloaded with waterguns and toys. Some specific parents did not do a good job with making sure their kids respected all the guests and their access to the pool. We loved it though overall and will be back. Would just like to see more pool rules about unruly kids and overcrowding of pool toys.
