Very nice place

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was very clean and updated. It is a very easy walk across the street to the beach and the pool area was nice.

We absolutely loved are stay can not go wrong with any of the condos at anchorage .Kid friendly, beautiful views of the ocean.Located close to everything you need.This particular condo I think has one of the best views of beach .Only thing would change was maintenance man was a little rude .

Great Quiet Condo

We had a great time during our trip. The condo had everything we needed for our week long stay. The property was clean and conveniently located to the ocean and any activities. We had originally reserved 6 days but the first day of our stay was cold and rainy. I reached out on Sunday ( which happened to be Easter) asking to add a 7th night. They responded within an hour and were able to add a night.

Our stay

Was told it had a k-cup coffee maker but when we got there it wasn't. So we had to go out and buy one.The stove top was impossible to cook on .It had the wrong eyes on the burner.So your pans would hardly sat on them .

Anchorage II Review

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has been staying here for over 30 years and the condition of the condo and the grounds was the worst that we have ever seen it. The condo was very dirty, couldn't walk through bare footed without the bottom of our feet turning black. Dust balls behind the furniture in the bedrooms. Kitchen window so dirty you can't see through half of it. Front door handle loose. Water pitcher handle broken off. Landscaping was untouched... no mulch. Parking lot drains clogged up. Just not a pleasant experience like it used to be.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit needs some updating. The dryer was rusted out in many spots and should probably be replaced. The kitchen was cramped/outdated and could use more utensils and supplies. The kitchen sink also leaked and when reporting to maintenance we never heard back or had anyone stop by to look at it. Thankfully it was a minor leak and we “fixed” it with a plastic bag and rubberband over the leaking area. The bathrooms and bedrooms were perfect. The unit was very clean upon our arrival. Ultimately we would not rent this specific unit again but we would stay in another unit on this property. We had relatives in a unit next door to ours and their unit was beautiful and well equipped. We had a great vacation regardless of the minor issues.

With it being the two of us we really don't need that much room. We had a family trip in 2024 and the Anchorage was the perfect spot for us. Our unit did not disappoint. The view from the balcony was great. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Very centrally located and the beach was great - not too crowded. We will be back.

Perfect Myrtle Beach location!

Our family of six enjoyed a beautiful July week here. The location is steps from the beach, and the pool, washer and dryer, updated bathrooms, and full kitchen/dining room area were perfect. The unit is spacious and we enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast on the balcony. It was clean and we plan to be back in the future. Thank you!

Overall great vacation spot!!

My family and I really enjoyed our first time in Myrtle Beach. The condo was clean, there was a beautiful kitchen fully stocked for cooking, large dining room table, comfortable living room furniture, a great view of the ocean, beautiful bathrooms, even beach chairs and toys to take down to the beach. Truly ideal for those flying in. The only con of a very long list of pros is a poor mattress and lack of quality blankets making for sub par sleep. The mattress in the master was hard as a rock and old with deep sags on both sides. Unfortunately that left me feeling sore and achy upon waking and throughout the day. There were not enough quality blankets on the beds or in the closets for a good night's sleep. If these issues were remedied, hands down our family would make this location a repeat stay.

As advertised

This was our first time booking a VRBO and was a little skeptical as we did not want any surprises when we arrived. We were very pleased to find the condo was exactly as shown on the listing. The entire process from booking to arrival to departure was seamless. We are looking forward to booking the same condo for next year.

Nice comfortable condo with easy access

This property had a very nice living area, functional kitchen with useful pots, pans, & dishware. Location is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist spots, yet close enough to restaurants, shopping or entertainment to make this one of the best places I've rented in the last 14 years. A couple of drawbacks were the 2nd bedroom beds are suitable for children and a bit too small for an adult. This bedroom really needs blackout curtains because the outside walkway lights, light up the room too much for my liking. The kitchen faucet needs to be repaired as it leaks when turned on. This said I would absolutly request this unit for any of my extended stays in Myrtle Beack, loved it!!!
