Hermosa cabaña familiar en el río Weber.

Agradecemos 30 días de aviso si es posible. No permitimos mascotas, fumar ni fiestas. Queremos mantener nuestra casa hermosa y reluciente. Cerca de las estaciones de esquí, lagos, pesca con mosca y senderismo. Este lugar es hermoso en cada temporada. Tantas cosas para ver y hacer Asi que
mucho para que las familias hagan, incluso quedarse aquí y disfrutar de la belleza. Tenemos una barbacoa de gas o un weber con briquetas en la cubierta. También un pozo de chimenea portátil para malvaviscos y perros calientes en la cubierta. La cocina está totalmente equipada. Tenemos especias, aceite de cocina y spray para cocinar, cafetera y filtros. Dormitorio principal y baño principal en el nivel de entrada. Cama de matrimonio y un altillo con una cama de matrimonio en el dormitorio de arriba. Otro loft con dos camas individuales que pueden convertirse en una cama king. Capacidad para 8 personas cómodamente con una gran cantidad de colchonetas de espuma y sacos de dormir con un lugar de hierba nivelado para una tienda de campaña (no incluida) en el lado del río de la cabina. Cada vez que alguien viene aquí no quiere irse. Nos preguntan si pueden quedarse para siempre, decimos que no.
Proporcionamos toallas, ropa de cama, productos de papel, platos, ropa y jabón de baño. Internet es un poco vago y lento en ciertos momentos, pero funcionará, ¡estamos un poco alejados y en las montañas después de todo!🎿🚣🏾⛷🎣🏔

Little slice of heaven

We loved this cabin! The kids played outside in the river for hours, the rope swing was a hit, and everyone loved watching the birds at the feeders. They had everything in the kitchen that we needed, the extra beach towels were useful. It was also a short drive to multiple lakes, we hope to come back again!

Beautiful retreat, any time of year

Gorgeous cabin right on the river. Friendly and caring hosts that go out of their way to make your stay the best for you. Will book again and I would recommend the host/cabin/location to any of my family or friends.

Beautiful river front property

The pictures did not do this place justice. The cabin was beautiful both inside and out. The yard was amazing right off of the river. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. One small criticism we had was the bed in the master bedroom was not firm enough for our liking. Everything else about the cabin was on point!

U have to see to believe. Beautiful, nice clean cabin with the relaxing sound of the river running steps from the door. We had a great time. Thank u John and Lynda for the warm welcome. Will be back again for sure.

Perfect Escape

The place is perfect. The pictures don’t tell the whole story. We arrived and the owners assisted us until we found the place and stepped inside. They put up the Xmas tree for us. They left us a bottle of champagne for new year. There was plenty of firewood. So much extra care and attention. The place is beautiful and has amazing views of the river from almost every room. The outdoor patio was amazing. The living room is spacious. The dining area was so relaxing. We would come back for sure. Thank you for being such kind and generous hosts.

Nice Cozy Cabin!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin!!! We would definitely stay there again if we ever want to visit the Park City area in the future. We were about 20-25 minutes away from Park City where we met up with some family to ski & have some family outings. It was a picturesque area where the cabin was as was the drive to Park City. It snowed the week we were there & we were able to use the snow shoes that the owners provided to hike around the area & explore a little. The owners, John & Lynda kept in touch with us & provided detailed directions to make sure we had no problems finding the cabin since we would be late arriving. They also provided a high chair & a pack n play for our 10 month old granddaughter who would be flying in with her parents & of course they couldn't bring that on a plane. We used most all of the firewood that week having a cozy fire going & since we arrived a couple of days after Christmas they even had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree up! We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Kamas/ Park City area!!!

Quiet and beautiful

We had a great time - thank you so much! The cabin is beautiful, well stocked, and comfortable, and the neighborhood is secluded and peaceful. The owners are responsive, accommodating, and helpful, and I have just one suggestion - maybe update the listing. If I remember right, it mentioned a movie library, but then the DVD player wasn’t able to be connected. (I think there was something else outdated, too.) But there were other options for watching movies which worked great. We loved checking out your book library (you’ve got some great ones on your shelves!), and the kids loved playing blackjack with your poker set. 😂 We came as far away from SLC (obviously not far), and this was the perfect spot to slow down for a few days and enjoy some beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Thank you for sharing your piece of God’s good earth with us. ❤️

Such an amazing time we are debating telling anyone about it, the owners are amazing people and so nice we had to at least let them know in this review. Well worth the price of a stay. Just a wonderful trip and wonderful place to stay.

Best Cabin Experience Ever

This was by far the best cabin that we have stayed at. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful tall trees and it is literally next to the river which was the best part of our experience. John built the cabin him self with his family and from every single bedroom and location in the house you can see and experience the river. The cabin itself is big and expansive. John and Lynda had taken great effort to make sure that the guests will be comfortable. It had everything we wanted and more. What an eclectic and wonderful experience! The towns of Kamas and Oakley are very close in case if we wanted to groceries or something else. The cabin was kid friendly and our five-year-old son didn’t want to go home. He must’ve gone up the loft 50 times. We absolutely loved the place.

A great getaway for our family!

The cabin has the feel of a home and a cabin! The yard and deck were a bonus that our family enjoyed thoroughly! We ate our meals on the spacious deck to the sound of birds and the river! Definitely recommend a getaway to this cabin!!!!

Lovely cabin and owners but logistically the cabin is very far from park city

The cabin was well equipped and it was lovely inside but traveling to park city each day was a lot further than we were led to believe. It is not a 20min drive it is more like a 40 min drive. Good restaurants were also scarce in the area. If you wanting to be close to Park City this is not the cabin for you if you wanting to be far away from all the hustle and bustle then this it the cabin for you:)

We did not mislead on travel time to Park City. I worked and drove to Deer Valley from Oakley for 2 years ( 5 minutes from Park City) not sure how they got there? This couple had sick kids and were not happy about anything.

Just what we wanted. A quite place to get away. .

The property sits just feet away from the creek, so leave a window or two open for that peaceful sound to lull you to sleep. Perfect size for a couple or two for a weekend away or a family with some kids. It was clean, very important for the wife. Kitchen nicely stocked with pretty much eveything you need, just bring main meal items. Close to Park City, Wasatch National Forest (wife final got to see a moose in the wild) and other points of interest. Cell service good for those that can't disconnect from world. Would I stay again? Yes!

Mountain Paradise

This is the second time I stayed in this gorgeous, serene, lovely house! Thank you John and Lynda for sharing your beautiful home. The location is perfect, right on the Weber River. When we weren't hiking in the stunning Uinta mountains, we spent time on the gorgeous deck watching the hummingbirds and the river flow. So relaxing for this city girl!! I hope to come back again and again!

Great Cabin

I rented this cabin and stayed there with my wife, two kids, and parents in late July. The cabin is in a beautiful location, and far enough from Park City to be away from the crowds, but not so far that it is inconvenient to run to town for dinner, supplies, or other activities. The place is clean, very comfortable, and fully equipped and has all the amenities of a modern home. The setting is very peaceful and relaxing and the kids loved playing in the Weber River right next to the cabin. Grilling and eating dinner on the deck in the evenings was great! The owners were also great to deal with and very helpful and friendly. I wouldn't change a thing about this place and would definitely stay here again!

This cabin is beautiful! Right on the river, the view from the dining room is amazing. We did a girls weekend and it was perfect. Close enough to town, but pretty secluded. John and Linda were super to deal with. I would definitely stay here again.

The Perfect Cabin location

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Cabin. The Cabin was more than we expected very friendly owners, great interior, cabin fully stock (utensils, pots, wine opener, coffee machine… you name it) location was great right next to the river not too far from Park City. The only thing that needs improvement is the heating system. The top part of the house does not heat it is latterly a freezer. But over all our stay was great and we will definitely keep this cabin in mind for future stays.

We got married on the deck of our mountain home in May of 2004. John is a contractor and built the cabin with his brother. It was completed the day before the wedding! We are retired and love to travel. We are skier's and love how close the cabin is to the resorts. I work at Deer Valley in the winters. When we have company, they always comment that they would love to
live there. We send them home!

It takes us 45 minutes to get to Oakley from Salt Lake City, so we spend as much time as we can at the cabin. John is a fly fisherman. He gets up early and starts his day on the river. We have fabulous walks and trails. We see wildlifealmost everyday. Moose, deer, elk, and an occasional black bear. It is a peaceful secluded property at the end of a short dirt road. The view from
each window has woods and mountains and the river. We have
a great tradition at Christmas time. Our whole family, take our snowmobiles up in the Uinta's and cut our own Christmas trees. We always get a 20 footer and bring it back to the cabin and decorate it. We have made such great memories with our
family here. We are so lucky and grateful that we can.





Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We have the most fantastic views out every window. The river runs right next to the cabin and our deck. We have a hammock hung next to the river that is the most relaxing place for reading. We have a few swings that swing right out over the river. In winter you can snow shoe out the back door up the frozen river, or go through the meadow and up a trail. My husband and I love to lay in bed in the morning with coffee and look out the french doors at the view in any season. If you ski, Deer Valley and Park City are 20 minutes away. The Canyons about 25 minutes. Sundance film festival is a fun time of year. Park City is great people watching. Lots of great night life, restaurants and shopping.
