3 BR Lake Front Getaway! Dog Friendly, Lakeside Deck, Dock, Incredible Sunrises

Welcome to Swimmer's Cove, your Lake Huron paradise. This 3-bedroom lake house is the perfect place to get away from it all. Relax with a book or a drink (or both!) on our 32' lakeside deck, about 25 feet from the water. You may expect to only experience an amazing sunrise, but you'll be surprised at how spectacular it is to watch the sunset from here as well. We have found this place to be wonderful for relaxing, but also great for all of your favorite watersports. There is a 40-foot dock & boat launch area, to launch your small boats, jet skis, kayaks & paddle boards. The house is large enough to accommodate the whole family, and you can even bring your fur babies!

If you are a boater, and boating is going to be a main part of your stay, please contact us for current beach conditions and further tips.

Due to the remote location, cell service here is spotty. There is a Verizon cell phone booster installed, but our Starlink internet allows for great connectivity for your cell phone and other devices.

Perfect weekend getaway!

This property was even better than we had hoped for! It was the perfect blend of remoteness and privacy with all the modern amenities to be comfortable. The view was stunning and it felt like staying at a friend's house. We can't wait to come back!

This place is such a gem! Not a single detail overlooked. The view from the deck is amazing. We’ve stayed at many rental homes and this one really impressed us. The hosts were gracious and communicative. Would not hesitate to book again.

We loved this VBRO!! Home is in a quiet, remote area, wonderful views, and calming sound of the waves. We saw 2 eagles, 8deer and I don't know how many turkeys. The lighthouses at Presque Island we visible at night. House had everything we needed. Hosts were informative made home warm and inviting. Found a few Petoskey stones too.

Great secluded place on Lake Huron!

My family loved this place for our summer getaway. It was secluded and quiet, but just a short drive into town for groceries or dinners in Alpena. We also made a day trip up to Mackinaw Island. The house was fantastic, and we loved the views of the lake. We did plenty of snorkelling, swimming, along with catching minnows and crawfish! You can walk a long way out before it gets deep, so it was great for the kiddos. I loved just sitting outside and watching the lake. You could see the big ships go by way off in the distance. Anna was an excellent host. She was extremely responsive and helpful with any question we had. I would recommend her place to anyone who wants a quiet place to relax by Lake Huron.Thanks Anna!

WOW! Where do I begin? Our stay at this remote lakeside retreat was nothing short of exceptional. The location is truly special as it's secluded, peaceful, and ideally situated right on the shores of Lake Huron. We spent hours relaxing on the spacious deck, taking in the panoramic lakefront views and listening to the calming sound of the waves. The unique extended deck that stretches into the water was a highlight, offering an unforgettable spot for morning coffee. The home was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed for a comfortable and restful getaway. The hosts were fantastic. They were responsive, kind, and clearly committed to creating a memorable experience for their guests. We can’t wait to return!

Above and Beyond

Let me start by saying the hosts of this vacation HOME were absolutely amazing to work with, they are doing everything right, that so many other vacation property owners are doing wrong!! The HOME itself exceeded expectations!! The HOME is extremely well maintained. They have every amenity you could ask for, far more than what's listed in the description. The most surprising was how well equipped the kitchen was, every small appliance you can imagine. This property was a true HOME away from HOME!! The location was absolutely amazing!! It was the most peaceful, tranquil and serene place we have ever stayed!! We looked very forward to sitting on the dock/deck every evening and watching the loons, sea gulls and giant white swans come by, the deer come down to the lake to get a drink and listen to the waves lightly crash on the rocky shoreline. We are looking very forward to another stay at this amazing vacation HOME!!
