We planned a month-long trip to Georgia (our old stomping ground) over the 2025 Christmas/New Year holiday - visiting our granddaughter, adult children/spouses, friends, & family. We wanted a home that would give everyone enough space to spend quality time together without feeling crowded; The Waleska Lake House turned out to be the perfect choice for our family. Michelle was quick to respond to all my questions about the property, both before we booked & during our stay - she was friendly, responsive, & very helpful. The entry-level has three bedrooms & a comfortable living area where our adult children could relax. The lower level, which opens to the backyard, includes the primary bedroom, kitchen, dining area, & the main living space. The house was spotless, well-stocked - designed for long-term stays. The floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake were stunning - enjoyed the view every day. The photos matched the home’s appearance exactly. It’s in excellent condition. We loved the fire pit & walking trails. The gated community is a little remote, but not to far from Publix, Target, Costco, HomeGoods, & casual restaurants. My sweet sister brought an unused Christmas tree & holiday decorations, which made the season feel like Christmas. Our stay was truly wonderful, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We would wholeheartedly recommend this home & look forward to coming back again. (Recommendations: Williamson Bros BBQ -20min, & Little Alley Steakhouse -50min)
