Deerfield Cabin está aislada a una cuadra del centro de Helen. Estamos realmente en el centro de la ciudad. Ven a sentarte en el porche delantero de nuestra mecedora o en el enorme patio, disfruta de la hoguera, juega un juego de cornhole o herraduras. Puede asar debajo de nuestro pabellón, mantener sus bebidas frías en la nevera y comer en nuestra mesa de picnic a medida. ¡Puedes escuchar los sutiles sonidos de la música y la risa mientras te sientes apartado de todo o caminar una manzana y puedes estar justo en el medio de todo! Lo mejor de ambos mundos. Estacione su automóvil en el camino de entrada y no lo volverá a necesitar hasta que se vaya. Well maintained and comfortable beds! This cabin had just about anything you could think of that you might need in a home away from home. Easy walk to anywhere in Helen, lovely outdoor eating space, and campfire spot. Plenty of space for everyone. Nina is super friendly and a great host. If we ever come back to Helen, GA, we'd love to stay here again!

We just returned from a fantastic stay at Deerfield Cabin! We were a party of 8,ranging in age of 53-77, visiting for Oktoberfest since we had all been stationed together in Germany in the 80s. The weather was not very cooperative, so we spent a LOT of time in the cabin, which made catching up even easier.This cabin was without a doubt the BEST outfitted short term rental I have ever used, there was absolutely everything one could possibly need. It was spacious enough inside and glorious outside, beautifully decorated as well; the pictures online do not truly do it justice.The owner was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns and provided a warm welcome. A couple folks in our party were already considering a possible return with their own families in the future. I would definitely rent this cabin again if with a large group or family event.P.S. No bear encounters (thankfully) but there were a few deer horsing around while we were packing up....made it tough to head home.Kathi Edge

We had a great time staying at this property with our friends. This house is in a great location that is convenient to downtown but also tucked back away so it feels like you’re in the woods. Deerfield is absolutely amazing! The location is perfect with everything in walkable distance. It is so well stocked you can just show up. Betty's grocery down the road is very reasonable too so don't hesitate to pack minimally. We'll definitely be back again!

This is a great house! The location is literally a 5 minute walk to the best of downtown Helen. Close to a park too! And we stay in alot of vacation rentals, and this property was the best-stocked house we have ever visited---it had everything we could possibly need! We definitley hope to go back to stay longer next time.

Great location and host!

Cabin was a 5 min walk from the main street where all the shops and restaurants are located. The cabin had everything you could possibly need from q tips to beach towels and air mattresses. There is zip lining,tubing white water rafting and horseback riding in the area. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay!!

Wonderful getaway in the center of town

Great cabin and great location. Far enough from main street to feel like you’re on a cabin getaway, close enough that you can walk 5 minutes into town. And you can hear live music from the restaurant down the street which creates a great ambience but soft enough to be tuned out.The cabin itself was plenty comfortable for 8 people (we could have fit more), and so thoughtfully decorated and well stocked (including poles for tubing). There are many places to relax, inside and out (the porch was my fave). Absolutely loved the property.The host was very responsive and helpful when I had trouble booking, and helped me get back something I left at the place.Would stay again!

More Memories Made

This is our second time staying here and we will book again. This idyllic cozy cottage is in a prime location to be secluded enough to enjoy your privacy but a short walk to all the things! We enjoyed the fire pit every night all while listening to the live music just a few hundred feet away. It’s clean, it’s cozy and we made just as many amazing memories the second time as we did the first! Highly recommend and look forward to our next stay!

Deerfield Cabin was as described and was ample space for our group. The home is well stocked with absolutely anything you might need during your stay. The outdoor space with grill, picnic table, large patio and fire pit was the highlight for us. The location makes Helen easily walkable in 5 minutes, but also makes for a quiet stay. Helen Get Away

Our entire stay was great! Plenty of space to spread out and a beautiful outdoor area. We grilled under the covered patio and played games outside. Short walking distance to Helen. Communication was great and concise! I highly recommend! Cabin is also very well stocked with all your needs for cooking and cleaning.

I was born in Atlanta and have lived in Georgia all my life. My husband Tom is a 'transplant', but has been here long enough to have somewhat of a southern accent! But both of us love Georgia, our weather, people and culture, not to mention the many attractions we have to offer residences and visitors. After you visit Deerfield Cabin, we hope you will love Helen and Georgia too!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Our house was built in 1932. My husband stumbled across it in 2003 and had such a vision of what it could be. I, on the other hand, couldn't quite see what he saw! My husband along with our 3 boys, myself, friends and some actual tradesmen, transformed this small old house into a lovely, homey secluded cabin! We have before and after pictures in the cabin for you to see. It was a lot of work but we are so proud of our 'old, new cabin in the middle of downtown Helen'

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We, as a family come and enjoy Helen as much as our guest do. We have a very open floor plan so everyone is accessible all over the house yet privacy in each of the 4 bedrooms. Our kitchen is also open and has a great breakfast bar to gather at. The kitchen is fully equipped and makes cooking fun. Play horse shoes, cornhole or enjoy the large firepit on our paver patio with lots of seating. We have a large covered pavilion with gas and charcoal grill, fridge and large picnic table to seat 10. Walk a block and choose one of the many places to shop, eat and drink.
