Plan a whale watching trip, visit the lighthouse " EASTERN MOST POINT IN THE USA", have some DOWNEAST seafood, and play some golf just a short drive away in Canada.
In the evening, after cooking on the BBQ, sit by the firepit enjoying your favorite beverage or playing cornhole under the stars.
Walking the many trails in the area, ask Eric about the trail booklet at the hardware store in town, or just freelance on your own; it will make for a great day, and the fresh air will put you in a peaceful sleep as your head hits the pillow.
Don't forget a Saturday morning stop at the farmer's market in town or the "community outreach thrift store" at the school.
