Located just 8+ miles on this unique beach access lies "Our LegaSea" , your escape from reality. Enjoy the peaceful tranquility of this five bedroom oasis just minutes of walking distance to beautiful Carova Beach in rural Corolla, NC. on the northern most reaches of the Outer Banks. This home's unique features, must-have amenities and relaxing atmosphere will ensure that your vacation is one you won't soon forget.
The large, 30 ft. in ground, freshwater pool with adjacent hot tub and huge, enclosed backyard with grill, guarantees a stay filled with enjoyable activities or just simple serenity.
Ocean views are best seen from the top floor kitchen, great room and dining areas. Preparing meals is a snap in this well-equipped kitchen that features a 14 ft. granite island, 2 large refrigerators (with water purification systems and freshwater dispensers) and plenty of cabinet space. The great room boasts a large wall mounted flat screen smart TV with surround sound and Dish Network (this TV only), roomy sectional and assorted board games and puzzles. For mealtime you can eat at the kitchen island on one of 6 stools or, at the ample 10 person dining table. Relax and enjoy sunrise and sunsets on the spacious deck or screened in porch with extensive views of the ocean and island. The top floor also includes an ensuite bedroom (king) with slider-deck access and comfortable deck chairs.
All bedrooms are equipped with wall mounted flat screen smart TV's and a connected Roku. All showers come with wall-mounted dispensers with a onetime supply of liquid soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
A versatile, full bath with tub/shower combination is located on the split level floor. Middle level features deluxe accommodations including: 2 ensuite bedrooms (kings), as well as a stand alone bedroom (king), all with slider-deck access. Rounding out the middle level is the "bunkhouse" with 3 full-size beds. A convenient hall laundry is located within steps of all four bedrooms. This home features a water filtration system and free internet/Wifi (Starlink). Video surveillance equipment is installed outside of the home facing the entrance and driveway only.
The well-designed lower level ground floor includes 2 carports for comfortable, guaranteed sun shelter throughout your stay, a galley kitchen, 2 indoor/outdoor showers and an adjacent toilet. The star of this house however, is the spacious enclosed backyard that includes the large pool, hot tub and patio creating a private oasis with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the generous pool side seating and gas grill.
Top Floor: Ocean views: Well stocked kitchen w/2 refrigerators w/ice-makers & cold water inside door dispensers, dishwasher, 14 ft. island with 6 chairs, Nespresso Vertuo next coffee/espresso maker with frothier. Dining Area (table and chairs for 10). King bedroom with ensuite bathroom, smart TV and deck access with outdoor seating. Great Room with sectional and large, smart TV. Screened in porch.
Middle Level: 2 King bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, smart TV's and deck access with outdoor seating. 1 King bedroom, smart TV and deck access with outdoor seating. Stand alone split level full bathroom with tub/shower combination. Bunk room with 3 full size beds and smart TV. Laundry area with large washer and dryer.
Lower Level: Outdoor Pool, hot tub, showers, toilet, galley kitchen with sink and refrigerator. Gas grill(with spatula, fork, and tongs), 2 covered parking spaces.
Beach Parking: Two beach parking permits are included with this house as vehicles MUST have a county-issued Beach Parking Permit properly displayed to park on the beach from the last Saturday of April through the first Saturday in October. Parking permits must be left upon check out. Failure to do so will result in a $250.00 fee per pass.

PET POLICY: Dogs only. Up to 2 "well-behaved and housebroken" dogs are allowed with an additional $100 cleaning fee. Dogs are not permitted in the pool, hot tub, or on furniture. The tenant will be responsible for paying for the fixing of, or replacing of, whatever the dog(s) have damaged, and this cost is in addition to the pet fee already rendered. If your dog has damaged something in the house or on the premises, please send us an email or call and let us know. Sometimes these things happen in pet friendly homes, and we know that. It only becomes a serious problem when we find out at the last minute and it inconveniences the next family checking in. Also please see house rules and lease for any additional information.
Tire Pressure & Guidelines; A 4WD vehicle is required to get to this house. Before driving the beach, stop and lower tire pressure (at posted areas) to 15-20 psi in order to safely navigate your way. Do not stop or park in the beach ramp area to lower tire pressure, or hop out to access the beach. Use 4-wheel drive (4WD) when entering the ramp and maintain a slow, steady speed. Speed limit along the beach is 30-35 mph, unless otherwise posted. This limit is lowered to 15 mph when drivers are within 300' ft. of a pedestrian. There are no gas stations or stores on the 4x4. Free air up stations are located at Historic Corolla Park when you leave.
Beach Driving Rules and Regulations: Vehicles are required to use driving lanes adjacent to the dune line between mile marker 14.5 and 17 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. beginning the Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day. All other times; use driving lanes adjacent to the dune line or at the shoreline. All vehicles should be parked in the middle of the beach strand and should not obstruct the traffic lanes. Parking is prohibited for the first 1.5 miles off the 4x4 ramp/beach entrance. No beach chairs, coolers, fishing lines, or other items should be placed in a location that blocks the traffic lanes. Walking on or traversing the dunes outside of defined walkover beach access points is illegal/forbidden.
Please do not feed or leave food out for the wild horses. Currituck County forbids anyone from being within 50' feet of the wild horses. Please respect this boundary.
We DO NOT have any BALCONIES, PATIOS OR TERRACES. We do have very safe decks with railings AS MANY, MANY HOMES IN THE OBX HAVE.
