I am, sorry, but I know absolutely that this is not true. Since all guests are checked in personally, and know that I am on the premises, if there were a deficiency the reasonable thing to do would be to report it. Since I also know that the towels are right out of the laundry, and the bathroom check list is meticulously done, there is no way that there was anything left on a toilet in one of my units. I have a large number of return guests and they would not be coming back time after time were any of these accusations true.

This gentleman did not smile once from the time he arrived. They were told repeatedly they could have fresh linens any day, just put them out, they didn't. The satellite company had to send a tech with a new receiver, it took two days, and they got a DVR in the bargain.When the TV had problems, he told me he would get a lawyer and shut me done. This family was a pleasure to host. I only got to visit with the son while they were here, but I found him to be one of the most well-mannered, polite and interesting young men that I have ever met, and I sincerely hope they make it back for another visit, because I would love to have a chance to visit more. They were a nice couple,and I hope to see them again. Parking is limited pretty much everywhere on the island, but I do offer an alternative,it just isn't right next to the door. And there is no central air, but most guests do well with what is there. However, everybody here misses the shade we lost in the storms last year and can't wait for it to grow back.

Something I will not miss when I retire. Two very young women, first time in Florida. I warned them when they checked in to not leave doors open, because Palmettos will come right in. They blocked the door to carry stuff in, after dark, then at midnight were upset that palmettos had indeed gotten in. The spray we used was already dispatching them, but I was not happy, and as for the linens, they pointed out a hair, on the comforter. There was a hair on the comforter, I had to not laugh, but apologized, for having apparently shed while I was placing their pillows, since the hair was very obviously mine. Their major problem was the bugs, and I was being nice in offering to refund anything, since that was their fault and not mine. I did, however, insist that they remain there with me until they found other lodgings. The idea of two, very young, and obviously inexperienced women trying to find a place to stay at one in the morning was not reasonable. The next two sets of guests have had no palmettos, but then, they actually believed me when I cautioned them about Florida and our bugs.

This was a fun group to have here, and I enjoyed having them. I am glad to know that they enjoyed their stay and look forward to seeing them again. Honestly, it is guests like these that make doing this a pleasure. Thank you. Lynne Budzinski Almost Beach Apartments Anna Maria Island

Again, I am always happy when people are able to enjoy their time while they are here. How to put this... . my units are not condos, they are small, clean, ground-floor ( a disappearing breed) "old Florida" apartments. I actually used to have floral couches with matching easy chairs, and got rid of them. No hide-a -beds, no recliners, just comfortable, clean furniture and what you would need to enjoy a stay at the beach. I am not a resort, and I don't expect people to come just to enjoy my place, although I have a lot of every year repeat guests. I just want people to be comfortable here while they are doing all the things that this area offers, kayaking under the mangroves, riding horses in the surf, parasailing, snorkeling, fishing of every description, and of course the beach just across the street. For those, unfortunate, times when mother nature rains on the parade for a day or two, I try to make sure there are some games and reading material for anyone too sweet to venture out in the wet, but, by and large, I feel I am doing my best for my guests, when they are rested and happy and able to get out there and enjoy themselves. Glad another guest met that goal.

Thank you, I do hope you come back. Most of the people I have met here have made me happy to do what I do, and it is a pleasure to help them enjoy their time away from home.
