Ashland Glamping’s unique Modern Dome puts a modern spin on glamping with contemporary interiors, polished concrete floors and all the comforts of home for a luxurious glamping experience in a scenic setting in Ashland, Nebraska.

The Modern Dome boasts 800 sq ft of living space with all the conveniences you won’t find on a regular camping trip in Nebraska. Relax in style and comfort in the open-plan living area, prepare home cooked meals in the modern, kitchen features a full size refrigerator, four burner gas cook top & microwave, share meals round the table and enjoy the finest in outdoor, lakeside living. This luxury glamping dome features a patio with a BBQ grill, outdoor furniture, private hot tub and log burning firepit for sipping hot cocoa round the “glamp-fire”.

At the end of a day of outdoor adventures, there’s no mattresses to roll out or bedding to find! A stay in our glamping domes offers a night of comfort with real beds, fine linens, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, A/C for the summer and heating for the winter months. The Modern Dome comfortably sleeps 7 guests in a queen-size bedroom and an upper-level loft room with ladder stairs to two queen size beds & a main room futon.

Excellent getaway!

My partner and our 2 friends very much enjoyed a romantic night getaway at the Modern Dome! The hot tub felt amazing and the dome had everything we needed to cook up a nice dinner and breakfast. While it’s capable of sleeping up to 7, I personally feel it’s much more comfortable for 4. The dining area has a nice picnic table for 6 and a small futon for 2 - otherwise there isn’t much area inside for relaxing - so expect to spend your fun time outside enjoying the hot tub, trails, and chairs around the fire! As long as everyone knows what to expect - it’s an amazing time!

Disappointed

This was our 2nd stay at Ashland Glamping. The first was in the Retro and I preferred that much more. The Modern Dome was very uncomfortable with concrete benches and a rock hard couch. I expected modern style but not with lack of comfort. I was also very disappointed that it advertised a star gazer roof to see the sky from the loft and it was covered. It stormed that night and I would've loved to watch out the skylight. Overall, disappointed.

Great Girls Trip

We had scheduled our glamping trip for July but things happened and we were not able to go. Nan was very accommodating and let us reschedule. We took advantage of all Ashland has to offer and went golfing, ate at the Brewery, checked out the unique shops and bakery downtown. Back at the Modern Dome we enjoyed the hot tub, sat around the smokeless fire pit and played games, popped popcorn and enjoyed all of the amenities the Dome offered. The beds were very comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here for a memorable Girls Trip!

Relaxing weekend

This was a great family friendly getaway. We enjoyed exploring the grounds with our two young boys, fishing and going out on the boats. The dome is close to everything, but also very private and had plenty of space for ourselves. We can't wait to come back!
