En el corazón del centro histórico de Aviñón, anidado detrás del Palacio de los Papas impresionantes, este espacioso apartamento está situado en la planta baja de una mansión restaurada de vuelta de la década de 1850.

El muy cerca de los alrededores es muy tranquilo y los principales monumentos, museos y restaurantes se encuentran a poca distancia. Es una base perfecta para explorar, día a día, las diversas facetas de apartamentos Provenza .La cuenta con un total de 250 metros cuadrados, un jardín privado de 500m2, una gran terraza con una gran mesa de comedor.

Hay un comedor, con una mesa para 6 personas y en la terraza de un comedor de verano (aire acondicionado y calentado). Hay un salón, con sofás de cuero y telas, televisión por cable, equipo de música encadenado.

Wonderful retreat in Avignon!

We had a wonderful stay at the Orangerie. Even though there was a heat wave, the apartment stayed cool and comfortable. Most time was spent in the glassed in patio, and we made dinner in the well-stocked kitchen as well.

Amazing Property

There aren't enough superlatives about how wonderful this place was -- both from amenities to location. Don't hesitate to book it! The property manager was extremely communicative and helpful from beginning to end.

The 1% of 1835

We spent five days in Avignon, in a fabulous location. We did a hub and spoke to see the highlights of Provance. The apartment was a special part of our trip. The look on our daughter's face was worth the price of admission.

Prefect location to explore Avignon

Wonderful apartment, amazing location, very good communications with host. Highly recommended. You will not find a better location in Avignon. Very quiet but very close to all the restaurants and shops.

Old, but very charming. Lots of living spaces. Great for 1-2 couples. Location is a short walk to anywhere in Avignon. Gare Avignon Central is only 15 minute walk. Excellent communication for check in etc

Great Period Apartment

Wonderful vast space, atmospheric; central for town and restaurants. Only slight issue was with use of the garage as someone (never actually encountered) kept parking blocking the door.

Beautiful Apartment right in the heart of old Avignon.

The veranda room was by far the most enjoyable place to be anytime of day. We had plenty of room for the four of us. It was so easy to get anywhere by foot in town. Francis was terrific in answering any question we had and giving us pointers.

Truly magical

The property was beautiful and location couldn’t have been better. Access to restaurants, shopping, and the Popes palace. Francis greeted us upon arrival and was so very welcoming . He was so helpful with every phase of our trip. We will be back again.

Fabulous French Adventure

What an amazing place to stay. We had an amazing 8 days in a place that felt like home. We really felt we were back in time. Grand space for the six of us. Easy walk to every where in the walled part of Avignon. Francis was such a good host, answering any questions we had. Hope to go back!

Avignon, center of old town

Just where we wanted to stay, in the old town in the best apartment for us. We had so much room, our favorite place was the conservatory and the garden. The kitchen well equipped, the baths perfect, showers and bathtubs. Only a few minutes from a great indoor market with every thing imaginable. Beds very comfortable, you will feel like Lords and Ladies.

Absolute perfection

When we walked into this property our jaws literally hit the floor. It looked beautiful in the photos but in person it was really next level. The property is so spacious and every detail was taken care of. The property manager is especially amazing - he went out of his way to make sure we had no problems. Highly recommend!

Elegant comfort in the city

We booked this property 18 months ahead because it had everything we were looking for: enough bedrooms and bathrooms, many comfortable places to relax, and a garage, all in the city just steps away from all it has to offer. Francis was the best! He met us at arrival, responded promptly to questions, and dropped in as we were leaving. He also provided a valuable list of excellent restaurants. A highlight of our stay was a morning food tour with Jeremy. If you do it at the beginning of your stay, you’ll know all the best spots and a great deal of the region’s history. We couldn’t have asked for a better week! Merci, Francis!

Charming apartment in Avignon

The apartment is as described and seemed very centrally located, within walking distance to major attractions, restaurants, and the covered market (les Halles d'Avignon) for produce, baked goods, and other food. Avignon is a lovely, small, and a walkable city, centrally located for touring Provence. The apartment's kitchen is rather small, so it's good to be aware of that, and we did have some getting-out-of-the-garage issues due to a missing or stolen post. Otherwise, it was a charming and enjoyable stay in Avignon. Francis was kind and wonderful to work with.

Love Our Avignon!

From the moment we laid eyes on apartment on-line, we fell in love. This was the place we had to be. Francis was amazing and stayed in contact with us throughout the entire booking process. At check in, he was there to greet us and give us great tips on restaurants, activities and the best wineries in the region. The apartment was amazing! It was very large and fit our group of six, perfectly. It couldn't have been in a better location to explore Avignon and Provence. We spent eight days exploring many villages and towns. It was so nice to come back to each night and enjoy a little wine in the garden before heading out to enjoy some of Avignons best restaurants. Truly an amazing stay. Thank you Francis. You are the best and helped make our trip so enjoyable.

This is a grand old building, a piece of history

This building is exceptional. Unfortunately it needs tender loving care, which would be very expensive. Staying in a place like this is definitely a memory. Several things in the kitchen were very dirty. The dishes were not clean, we had to wash them before using them. The cloths in the bread baskets were very dirty. Dish cloths also dirty. The only filter I entered on vrbo was "wheelchair accessible" It was not wheelchair accessible. My husband can take a few steps and we made it work. We wish the owner had left information on the history of this home.

Favorite Location in Europe

Excellent service from checking in to checking out! The property exceeded our expectations. Francis was amazing at guiding us in to the property. He met us there to show us the workings of the mid 19th century apartment. He also helped to solve a personal issue with a lost phone by communicating in French for us with the person who found it-and on a weekend! The covered atrium was amazing for 6 of us to gather in. The outdoor courtyard was fantastic. We want to visit again but will learn to play the piano so we can use the one in the master bedroom next time. If driving, be prepared for many narrow one way roads, but be patient and you will not have any issues with a standard size vehicle. A great location in the walled city! This has by far been our favorite European property rental over the last five years!

Apartment near Pope's Palace

We stayed here in late August for 5 days. We made a big mistake trying to drive a car into Avignon. The town is next to impossible to drive in .Parking situation at the house is very difficult. Great location. Near everything you want to see, Food store and restaurants are close. House is almost 200 years old and some rooms are fine, other areas could use a lot of restoration. Apartment was very roomy, bathrooms large and well laid out. A fair amount of broken and damaged furniture laying around. That seemed rather odd. Major problem was that the apartment was infested with ants. Every room except the bathrooms. We bought lots of spray and by the end of the third day we got them under control. We contacted the host, but he did not come by nor did he send an exterminator. He just said he should buy some spray. He never did. This is not something one should have to deal with on vacation

Tener un palacio en un enclave de excepción

Todas las estancias de la casa son magníficas, tanto la decoración como los muebles y el equipamiento dignos de un gran palacio. Es lo que se ve en las fotos y más. Hemos estado muy a gusto. Las sugerencias de Francois y la atención han sido excelentes.

3 Generationen haben es genossen!

Ideale Lage mitten in Avignon, Parken direkt vor der Unterkunft war auch mit Sprinter kostenlos möglich, der private Garten war eine Oase mitten in den (sehr!) engen Gassen. Das Leben fand hauptsächlich im sagenhaft schönen Wintergarten statt, der dank zweier Klimanlagen in Minuten behaglich warm wurde. Durch die 3 Badezimmer kam es auch bei unserem Drei-Generationen-Urlaub zu keinem "Stau". Die Bilder in der Anzeige sprechen für sich: Es ist ein privates Versailles am Fuße des Papstpalastes!

Idéalement situé avec accès au marché alimentaire, cafés, bars, restaurants et sites historiques. Avignon adventure

We hosted two groups of friends over a 3 week period. We all had plenty of room to relax separately or as a group in this spacious apartment with a wonderful privat garden.
