Provence Luxury at its finest!

Stephan was an amazing host who pulled out all the stops to provide a 5 star resort experience in a beautiful apartment in the heart of Avignon. The streets are VERY tight so we parked at Stephans residence and he drove us to the apartment. This added about 30 minutes to our check in process, but we were so glad considering the road situation. The apartment is well appointed with no detail missed. A small washing machine was perfect for a mid-trip refresh. Phone chargers were a nice touch so we didn't have to pull ours out. Champagne, cognac, and chocolates were also provided, which helped take the experience over the top. Stephan was extremely responsive on WhatsApp and was great at providing recommendations for local fare and things to do. He even made our dinner reservations so we didn't have to worry about it. I would highly recommend Les Anges and will definitely be back to stay here in an amazing little city that we fell in love with in just two short days!

Outstanding, unique Home and warmest host ever

A unique home, romantic, warm, and a fabulous experience. Comfortable and very generous amenities, from champagne, great coffee to a great recommendation for a restaurant that was reserved by our host. We had free parking at the private Villa of our host, Stephan. Stephan is a writer and very knowledgeable, always available and enthusiastic to help. He definitely made our stay special! We intend to stay an extra day.

Amazing stay in Avignon with a fantastic host

The property has everything a guest needs for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable and a nice sitting area for two. The kitchen was well stocked with a wonderful coffee machine and fresh beans to start the day off right. Large windows that open to let in a lot of light and fresh air. The overall decor has a romantic French vibe and puts you in the mood to explore the walled city. 10 out of 10!

Beautiful Suite in Avignon Center

My wife and I traveled to Avignon from our home in Lyon for three nights to celebrate a milestone birthday for her and to get a change of scenery. Avignon is a beautiful place and even though only the shops were open, we had a nice time walking around. What made the trip special was the amazing suite, Anges 1, and the owner, Stephan. The suite is beautifully appointed, nicely designed, and a very comfortable place to stay. We loved it - cooked a few meals there (restaurants were closed) and slept well. Stephan picked us up at the TGV station (and reuturned us when we departed) and provided us with information for our stay. He was warm and welcoming, and has a range of interests matching many of ours. I highly receommend his properties in Avignon!

To all who are considering this I property, I want you to know that in all the years we have been traveling around the world, we have never been welcomed so graciously, never been hosted so considerately, never enjoyed a property more than this one. We could go on with superlatives and tell you the location was extraordinary, the communication and care from Stephan were beyond anything we have previously experienced, but the joy we experienced because of Stephan made our stay in Avignon the most meaningful of our travels throughout France. Our first day Stephan sat with us over tea and guided our itinerary with each day a follow up communication insuring that all was going well. What could could we ask from our stay? Not a single thing! It was perfect.

Absolute perfection!

If you’re looking to stay in Avignon you MUST stay here! The apartment is immaculate and perfect for 2 with some great special touches. Stephan was the most amazing host we have every had. He made us feel right at home, gave us great recommendations and even got us last minute reservations for an incredible dinner experience (literally the best meal we have ever had!). We can’t wait to come back!

Stephan acted as our personal concierge, making dinner reservations, suggesting sites and activities. Agnes 1 is an inviting, complete, if compact, home away from home. Nous n’avons passé qu’une nuit au Anges 1, mais nous aurions pu y passer une semaine. La décoration est sublime, luxueuse, généreuse, et tout y est pensé et équipé pour le plus grand confort. Stephan, le propriéataire, accueille lui-même les visiteurs : il est écrivain et a écrit un beau livre sur Avignon, en vente sur place. Sa connaissance de la ville a transformé notre séjour en découverte de rêve. Grace à lui, nous avons pu déguster un magnifique chocolat chaud à l’Hôtel de la Mirande, à deux pas, et nous avons pu y prendre un petit déjeuner de rêve. Stephan garde des plans de la ville et les personnalise pour ses invités, ce qui facilite la circulation dans la vieille ville. Avignon est une petite ville, et tout est à moins de dix minutes à pied. C’est une expérience hors norme recommandée à tous.

Les Anges, located in the quiet enclosed ancient town centre was a combination of exquisite taste paired with innovative design and luxurious comfort - all the product of host, Stephan Caso. The special touches abounded - a Nespresso machine, crystal decanter of cognac and an incredibly comfortable bed with fine linens. The frosting on the cake of our experience was the extraordinary hospitality extended by Monsieur Caso. Always available by text if needed, an excellent source of information on where to go (he authored a beautiful book on the city) and service far above and beyond (he met us at the train station and helped with our car rental and parking). This was the best home rental experience we've possibly ever had. Merci, Stephan, we hope to see you again.

Beautiful, well designed, thoughtful and spacious

Stephan is a truly wonderful host who really cares about the quality of your visit to his beloved city of Avignon. His apartment is very spacious, well designed and perfectly located inside the city walls very close to the Palace but still quiet. He has great restaurant recommendations and things to do and is very connected to the city having even written a book about Avignon's history. I highly, highly recommend staying in this apartment.

Wonderful, romantic, peaceful.

Beautifully, romantically and thoughtfully designed apartment. Quiet, but right in the center of Avignon. Nespresso and cognac provided! Host, Steve Caso, was so helpful, picked us up and helped us settle into our "Home away from home". He is an incredible source of information on Avignon and its surrounding area. The apartment made our stay particularly special. We would definitely recommend and plan on staying there again.

This jewel in the crown of beautiful Avignon is a wonderful find. Not only is the apartment stylish, comfortable and brilliantly situated, Stephan adds so many little extras to make you feel welcome. From collection upon arrival and departure, even carrying my suitcase! He was available for any queries and his knowledge of Avignon is second to none. Follow his advice on places to eat as some of the eateries are geared for tourists and substandard,but when we ate at his recommended restaurants the food, service and ambience was just what we wanted. Beautiful, classy, and comfortable

This beautiful place is in a wonderful location, beautifully decorated, and so clean and comforting. Stephan, the owner takes great pride in this home and made sure I had everything I wanted and needed. Beautiful place, great location for 2 people in Avignon

Stephan has renovated a Studio apartment in Avignon beautifully. It is clean, bright and has all the amenities (great fast wifi too!) that you need. He has really thought of everything. He let us know where to park, met us at the parking lot 5 minutes from the house, and then had lots and lots of advice on what to do and where to eat. I wish I had contacted him sooner and asked more to prepare for the trip as he truly is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about how to get the most out of Avignon in both sights and food.

Exceptional - best private stay ever!

We recently stayed at Stephan's apartment in Avignon and could not have enjoyed our stay more. The location was superb and everything we needed was only a short 5-10 minute walk away. The apartment was beautifully appointed and exceeded our expectations in terms of amenities- laundry, Nespresso machine with a fully stocked supply of pods, VSOP cognac, functional kitchen and bathroom and comfortable bed. Stephan was extremely responsive and helpful as a host, not to mention incredibly knowledgable about the area, history and local food and wine scene. He picked us up from the train station and dropped us off on our return. He proactively provided suggestions for restaurants and activities as we planned a short day trip to Chateauneuf du Pape and kindly drove us to the train station to pick up our rental car. We can't say enough good things about our time in Avignon thanks to the amazing stay we had at this property. We are already planning a return trip and will recommend this to any family or friends thinking about visiting Avignon.
