VillasDeRosa se encuentra a 65 millas al sur del aeropuerto de Cancún, en la bahía privada de Aventuras Akumal. VillasDeRosa ofrece este condominio frente a la playa de tres dormitorios, con televisión vía satélite, reproductores de CD, agua purificada, servicio de limpieza diario, baño privado, ventiladores de techo y aire acondicionado.

Este condominio cuenta con un balcón privado, amplia sala de estar con comedor y cocina totalmente equipada. Las comidas locales o internacionales pueden ser atendidas en su comedor o disfrutarlas en nuestro bar de la azotea o en la cafetería junto a la piscina. Nuestro bar en la playa está convenientemente abierto todo el día. La piscina tiene un extremo profundo y poco profundo para el disfrute de todos los huéspedes.



Aquatech, nuestro centro de buceo PADI en el lugar, está disponible para buceo en arrecifes, buceo en cenotes y entrenamiento de buceo. Aquatech es pionero en el buceo en cuevas, cavernas y cenotes desde 1984. El esnórquel es excelente a solo unos pasos de su condominio y la pesca en alta mar, kayaks de mar y equipo de buceo están disponibles.

VillasDeRosa ofrece traslados privados al aeropuerto y un excelente servicio, para que pueda disfrutar de sus propias vacaciones en el Caribe.

This is our second time staying with Tony in the beautiful villas there on the beach. We were also very lucky and watching the babyturtles hatch and get let down to the sea. The housekeeping was a treasure to have daily, I could get spoiled with that. The bar next-door has wonderful food and bartenders. This is a very nice relaxing accommodations off the beaten path where you can unwind. You’re on the bus path if you wanna go into town to enjoy anything there. I don’t normally go anywhere twice, but this was such a fine and we loved it so much that we did it a second time. Who knows we might even do it a third time. Tony was right there to walk us through the check-in process and escort us to our villa. He responded quickly to any questions we had.

Slice of paradise

This is my second time staying and it did not disappoint! Tony made checkin so easy and felt very taken care of! This place is chill, on a beautiful stretch of beach, and right next to an amazing beach bar. The beds are soo comfy, kitchen is well equipped but if you don’t want to cook they will deliver food right to you! I will definitely return!!

Great location! Friendly staff!

We enjoyed our stay at Villas De Rosa! The location was perfect! We spent a day in Tulum and a day in Playa del Carmen. When we weren’t out exploring, we were laying on the pristine, beautiful, white sand beach or playing in the water. Tony was a great help with all of our requests. From transport to food to Covid testing for our return to the US, Tony was always available to assist with a lovely greeting and the perfect guidance. We hope to return soon!

Spacious apartment on beautiful beach

The 3 bedroom, 3 bath space was perfect for my family. Gorgeous views & good service from Tony, the property manager & the staff. They were quick to deliver food & answer questions. The only con- it’s on a gorgeous beach surrounded by private resorts. The only place you can eat is at the property unless you have a car or take a taxi to other locations. We went into Tulúm & found great restaurants but it’s a 30 minute drive. You can also go to north Akumal for restaurants & amazing snorkeling! I’d definitely stay again!

Family Vacation!

My Family really enjoyed our stay. Tony and staff took good care of us! Essentials were provided like TP, paper towels, soaps, coffee & supplies, fresh towels & beach towels (very much appreciated)! The housekeeper was awesome and even cleaned our dishes if left in the sink. The food from the kitchen was reasonably priced and good. The view from the patio was spectacular. Sea breeze kept the living area pleasant and AC in the rooms was good for sleeping or relief from the sun and heat. The beach was not busy and no spring breakers. Some dogs around but mostly quiet and owners cleaned up after them. The grounds show some of the weathered signs of the environment but this did not impact our stay. Modest people will enjoy this place. I would go back!

Beware MOLD

I booked this property because it was on the beach and had decent reviews. From the moment of pulling up to the location the place seemed different than it is online. Once we checked in we were taken to condo. Immediately we were met with a very strong odor of mold. There was literally mold on the walls. The front bathroom smelled of sewage and the main shower head fell off while I was showering. We made other arrangements because it was not a fit for our family to stay there. I asked for a refund for the nights we would not be there but we were only refunded half of what we paid. The property manager was nice and the beach was good. There was also a bar next door and it was good as well. If you have mold sensitivity do not book this!

Awesome Accommodations

This place has everything you need! My family stayed in the third floor 3 bed/3 bath condo. The view is spectacular! Tony had it set up for the sleeping arrangements we requested for us, my son, his fiance & kids, and my mom! The beds are very comfortable...we slept great! There are outside entry doors into 2 of the 3 bedrooms for added privacy! All 3 bedrooms have AC...I suggest keeping all outside doors closed while leaving all bedroom doors open during the day with the AC & fans on in the bedrooms & living room to keep the entire condo cool. The condo provides all you need to cook, if you choose to do so, and they have a private menu to order food to be delivered to your room or to the pool or the beach...the food is excellent! We stayed in July & it was very quiet...we had the beach to ourselves most days! Swimming & snorkeling in front of the condo is great & you can rent snorkle gear from Tony for the extent of your stay....very affordable & convenient! The turtles came up to lay eggs at night right in front of the condo....with a red light you are able to go out & see them. There are ecologists available to teach you all about the turtles! Additionally, Tony goes the extra mile for his guests. My son had issues with his rental car & Tony spent over 30 minutes on the phone communicating with the rental car company to have a new rental car delivered to the condo for him. Unfortunately my hubby had to go home 2 days early & Tony made arrangements to get him to the airport so I could continue my vacation with the rest of my family! We loved the condo, the beach & we appreciate Tony. We are planning another visit to Villas De Rosa in 2025!

For travelers not tourists

If you want to stay at an all inclusive and overpay for everything and see nothing but on guided excursions, then this might not be the place for you. If you are here on VRBO creating your own DIY vacation then I definitely recommend you consider Villas DeRosa. This was our first trip to Mexico on our own as a family, none of us had been to the Riviera Maya area before. We wanted to do and see as much as possible. Villas DeRosa was one of 5 places we stayed during our 2 weeks in Mexico. This stop was our best snorkeling, best food, best rooms and best service of anywhere on our trip. The glamping place we stayed at before this was cool. But when we walked in our rooms and saw the view from the living room, my wife immediately said that next time we should just stay here the whole time! We saw lots of rays and fish snorkeling right out from the resort. The free kayaks were also a big hit with my teenaged kids. The food was wonderful and very reasonable, just give them a decent amount of lead time and don't wait until you are starving. You pay for all the food at the end and can add a gratuity then. We didn't know that so we tipped the folks dropping off the food and ended up double tipping on the bill. Considering the prices we paid at some of the other places I didn't mind so much. We also had a full kitchen, fridge, and microwave so we made our own breakfasts which was also nice. The turn around time on our food orders was usually 30-60 minutes, which I thought was totally reasonable. If we were coming back from somewhere by colectivo, we would use that time to decide what we wanted and order dinner on WhatsApp a few minutes before getting dropped off. That brings up another big plus. Just a short 440' walk south down the frontage road is an official colectivo stop. We didn't have a rental car and took colectivos everywhere and it was really convenient to have this stop so close by rather than waving them down from the side of the road. They had some parking as well if you are going to have a car. I really loved the ingenious layout of the 3 bedroom condo we had, it was perfect for our family of 6. It can have the rooms sectioned off and rented individually which means it was also 3 bathrooms which was convenient. The place isn't brand new, but everything worked and nice and clean. Lastly, the service was great. Tony was always available to help and made sure everything went smoothly. We would totally come back here again!

This property is on one of the nicest beaches we have been to. The property and being right on the beach was fantastic. If you wanted full sun or shade it was available, snorkelling right at the property was great as well. The beach bar next door was fantastic and so were the staff! We plan to ge back and next time we will stay longer.

Perfect

Villa De Rosa was just what my family needed. Noel was there for all of our questions, and set us up on some great trips. The food and the cocktails were amazing. The staff that works there were so kind and helpful. Having the sea turtles come right up on the beach at night and seeing how the entire area does everything it can to see that the sea turtles are able to lay their eggs and that the babies make it back to sea. My ONLY negative comment is the livingroom area got hot and having a air conditioner unit there would make this a 5 star for me.

Nancy and Tony DeRosa came upon Akumal in 1983. They fell in love with the area and scuba diving. In 1985 they designed and built a duplex on this very site. During construction of the building, they discovered the magnificent underwater cave systems in the area and their lives would be forever changed. Deciding to stay in Mexico full time, they rented out the second condo to visiting cave divers and continued to explore the underwater cave systems. Exploration was in full swing, and more and more divers requested to stay with the DeRosas. By the mid 1990's, property next door was purchased and a six condo building was constructed. By then more people were discovering the beauty of the area....not just divers. In the late 1990's another property was purchased, adding another building with 6 more condos and a pool.........all properties are directly on the beach! Soon a four lane highway was completed from Cancun to Tulum and many large all inclusive hotels started to populate the area. Villas DeRosa remains a small family owned and operated resort located on a beautiful beach isolated from the impersonal world growing up around them. Enjoy a simpler time on a beautiful private beach when you stay at Villas DeRosa.

For adventure, the Aquatech Dive Center is on site and specializes in open water diving, cenote diving, and snorkeling tours. We can also arrange deep sea fishing for game fish with a boat directly on the beach by your condo. Nearby you will find the Mayan Ruins, swim with the dolphin programs, several theme & water parks, sailing, and more.
