Great location!

This was the perfect place for our family to enjoy a long weekend in The Heights! Very clean, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Check in was easy and the location was perfect for exploring White Oak Dr and the shops and restaurants around 7th St and Heights Blvd. Would highly recommend!

Cute property, in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is located very near a major highway, and close enough to downtown, that we didn't have to spend much time in traffic, coming or going. The grounds tidy, the house was spotless, and the furnishings were great. This property was the perfect base of operations for our visit to Houston.

Cozy Downtown Houston Get-a-way

Our experience with this home matched with what was advertised…A clean, tucked away, charming 2/1 Victorian style home in The Heights within easy walking distance to local bars and restaurants, hang-out spots, and exercise trail. Also, the A/C was cold which helps with 100+ degree days.

This place is located in Greater Heights and super close to White Oak restaurants! So safe & convenient! Freeway is a hop & skip away! Its a really cute cozy place! Communication with Mimi was seamless & she responded very quickly! All in all I can't say enough about this modern 2 bedroom! I will definitely stay here again!

Oxford Street Gem

We rented this spot for our son for his summer internship downtown Houston. It was great and served his purposes perfectly. Walking distance to several restaurants and night spots. He had zero issues even through a hurricane. Highly recommend this for your next rental in Houston.

Nice Property in a Great Neighborhood

This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful place. You have to be able to walk up a flight of stairs but it’s worth it. Well appointed 2 bedrooms with a great kitchen. Upfront communication with the host was very good. This is a great neighborhood where you can walk to multiple restaurants. If you feel like bringing you bikes or going for a walk there is a beautiful pathway system just 1/2 block away. We’ll be back in the spring!

We were accurately explained everything we could expect about the house and the area. The yard is gated in, and garage is accessible, we didn’t feel that we needed to use it though. 💜 Mimi was a great hostess, and made sure that we were armed with information before we ever got into Houston. We had a short trip, but had it been longer we would’ve been comfortable, and that is what matters! Thank you so much for making our stay hassle free and for being a courteous host!!

Nice place, great location, but...

On the positive side, the garage home was very nice. Clean, well organized, off-street parking. You could even use the garage if you wanted to. There is a balcony with comfortable chairs that were great for relaxing outside. Great location! Lots of hot water in the shower. On the not-so-positive side, there were a few things that really bugged us. Check-in was difficult--I had to download some lock-related app. I asked the owner if there was another way to gain entry to the place, but received a no. Then, a few hours later, after I had to set-up and get trained on the app, I get word that a code had been set up and that I didn't need to go through the app after all. We arrived at the place at 3:56 pm and could not get the code to work--this owner is very serious about checking in at 4:00 pm precisely. And she sent me several messages reminding me that we had to be out by 10:00 am on the dot! We were provided 2 cheap bath towels and a hand towel for 2 of us for 4 days. There was a fob and a clicker for closing the gate to the property and neither worked. And we were given instructions on how to clean up after ourselves. We are very neat, and honestly, isn't that what the extra fee for housekeeping is for? Big picture, it's a pretty, clean place in a great location. We just did not feel welcome. If those kinds of things do not bother you, then you'll enjoy the house.

Nice Place in a Great Location

We love staying in our old neighborhood when we travel back to H-Town. Lots of great restaurants, coffee shops, etc. within walking distance. The owners were very helpful with the process of checking in. The 2 bedroom accommodations had everything we needed for a nice long weekend.

Great Experience

Mimi was great throughout the whole process. The property is located in a wonderful neighborhood full of bars and restaurants. It is close to downtown and the Galleria area. I would highly recommend renting from Mimi. She is simply awesome.

Lovely home located in a perfect area of the Heights!

Mimi was great at responding quickly to any questions or needs we had before and during our stay. The AC busted on our first night, but Mimi and her husband Jeff were quick to resolve the issue and kept us in constant communication until it was fixed. I would absolutely stay here again and appreciate the superb hospitality!

Excellent place close to downtown

Stayed for 3 nights while attending a music festival at White oak Music Hall. Great location: quiet at night and plenty of restaurants nearby. Will gladly stay again, Interior is very nicely done. Kitchen is nicely stocked though I did not see any paper towels. The only other suggestion I would like to make is to have a comfortable sofa instead of the two chairs.
