The Space:

Just a four-minute walk down a direct path takes you to Gondola Square, where you’ll find restaurants, grocery stores, music festivals, and year-round entertainment. Whether you're here for the slopes, the summer concerts, or the breathtaking views, our chalet is the perfect home base for your Steamboat adventure.

Step inside to a spacious entryway, ideal for gearing up before heading out. As you make your way downstairs, you’ll be captivated by the large windows and expansive views of the Yampa Valley. Overlooking the Knoll Lot, this condo offers a front-row seat to festival season, so you can enjoy the energy of live music right from your balcony.

The cozy living room is perfect for unwinding after a day on the mountain, featuring a gas fireplace, a full sleeper sofa, and plenty of seating for the whole group. Stream your favorite shows, sip a glass of wine, and relax as the snow falls outside. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook a delicious meal, whether you're dining at the six-seater table or grabbing a quick breakfast at the bar.

Upstairs, both bedrooms offer spacious comfort and ample storage. The primary bedroom boasts a queen-sized bed, a dedicated workspace, and stunning valley views. An en-suite bathroom ensures privacy and convenience. The secondary bedroom is designed for flexibility, featuring a twin-over-queen bunk bed with an additional twin trundle, making it great for families or groups. A second full bathroom with a bathtub completes the upstairs layout.

At West Condominiums, you’ll enjoy fantastic seasonal amenities right under the Wildhorse Gondola, adding a unique ambiance to your stay. From Thanksgiving to April 15, two hot tubs and a heated pool are open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM. From April 15 to May 15, one hot tub remains open while the pool and second hot tub are closed. Between May 15 and October 1, both hot tubs and the heated pool reopen, and from October 1 to Thanksgiving, one hot tub is available while the pool and second hot tub remain closed.

The Neighborhood:
Perched atop its own private hillside, The West Condominiums offer spectacular views of the Steamboat Ski Area and the Yampa Valley, and this popular Steamboat lodging complex provides guests with a mountaintop retreat located directly above Steamboat's mountain village.

The West is located just above the Gondola Base area with a convenient access path to the mountain village, an easy walk to the Gondola, shops and restaurants

Steamboat Springs is an outdoor enthusiast paradise! During the spring, summer, fall, or winter you can hike, swim, tube, bike, golf, watch a rodeo, ride in a hot air balloon, fish, hunt, snowshoe, ski, or snowboard the area. Part of The West condo complex at the base of Steamboat Resort the walking distance to Gondola Square, the slopes, the skating rink, Wild Plum Market, numerous bars and restaurants, and the free town shuttle at the Gondola Transit Center. Wildhorse Marketplace, Central Park Plaza, and downtown Steamboat are just down the hill, where you’ll find more dining and shopping options, art galleries, recreation, and the Old Town Hot Springs, which includes a fitness center, climbing wall, classes, and even childcare. The more natural Strawberry Park Hot Springs is a scenic drive away.

Parking notes: There is free parking for 2 vehicles. Park in the large parking lot near the condo. Parking is unassigned, so please park in any available space. The HOA requires the pass be displayed at all times inside your dashboard. Failure to do so can result in your car being towed. No RV'S or trailers of any kind allowed by HOA.

Thanksgiving – April 15 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
April 15 – May 15 Pool and 1 hot tub Closed
May 15 – October 1 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
October 1 – Thanksgiving Pool and 1 hot tub Closed

The fireplace is only available during the ski season.
