Welcome to the Mesquite & Fir house! Relax and unwind in this stylish, uniquely designed, one-of-a-kind modern home filled with global treasures, vintage finds, and stunning amenities.
Minutes from the 1-35 and centrally located — just 10-20 minutes to all the Austin hot spots including downtown, Zilker park, East 6th, Rainey Street, Ladybird Lake, South Congress, and Austin-Bergstrom airport. Circuit of the Americas is under 30 minutes away. Several local restaurants, coffee shops and bars also just a few minutes away.
Lightning fast Google Fiber wifi, nice coffee machine, TV with Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney Plus, and Amazon Prime, hot showers with good water pressure, comfortable beds.
Thoughtful touches fill this home making for a truly unique stay. Upon entering the front door you'll be greeted by an open, airy living space and 18-foot wide glass slide-and-stack doors that can completely open up to the backyard for seamless indoor/outdoor living. The kitchen bar faces the dining area and backyard, making the flow of the space perfect for hanging out, relaxing, and entertaining your group. Surround sound speakers in the living space, kitchen and dining area ensure you can set the vibe.
Just beyond the glass doors is the private backyard, complete with lounge chairs, an umbrella-covered patio, a filtered stock tank pool with deck, and the separate dedicated backyard office/mini theater. A large desk, mini-split, and tons of natural light make the office inspiring and conducive to productivity. At night, the 5.1 surround sound system, large projector screen and built-in projector turn the space into a mini-theater of your own to lounge around and watch your favorite movies.
Tucked away at the side of the house, each of the bedrooms have their own unique ambiance. Premium mattresses and soft bedding make them the perfect private quarters to relax and unwind.
We are proud to offer kid-friendly features as well — the large furniture pieces are anchored to the walls, and lower kitchen cabinets have optional child-locking mechanisms installed. There is also a high chair, stroller, travel crib, changing table, small bathtub, mini Pikler climbing gym, play pen, play mats, and castle couch available for children.
Additional recreational amenities include two high quality stand up paddle boards, pool floaties, and extra lawn chairs.

Arnelle is a photographer and content creator born in Cebu, Philippines, and raised in the Bay Area, and Emil is a filmmaker born in Perth, Australia, and raised in Devon. Since meeting in 2016, we’ve explored over 80 countries combined, with more than 40 of those adventures shared together. Traveling and being exposed to so many beautiful places with incredible boutique accommodations and artisan craftsmanship is what really sparked our shared love for interior design and the art of curating spaces that inspire and make travelers feel truly at home.
