Ubicado en la planta baja, este condominio de dos dormitorios y dos baños ofrece un acceso increíble a todas las comodidades. Los interiores cuentan con pisos de mármol travertino, diseños de baños de mármol, encimeras de granito, gabinetes de madera de aliso y cocina totalmente equipada. También tiene una habitación con vista al mar que se puede usar como oficina. Internet inalámbrico y televisión por satélite acercan al mundo lo más deseado. Se necesita un embalaje mínimo ya que la unidad tiene su propia lavadora y secadora.
Ubicado en San José del Cabo, ofrece un ambiente relajado y tradicional de una ciudad mexicana con excelente gastronomía, pero está a solo 20 minutos en automóvil en una carretera dividida de cuatro carriles a Cabo San Lucas por su emocionante vida nocturna.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was perfect for our family of 4. There’s plenty of space and we especially loved hanging out on the patio. Malie was responsive, friendly, and accommodating and the people managing premise were extremely friendly and helpful as well. Will be coming back soon!!

Beautiful Beach front apartment

We loved staying here - right on the beach and we were able to walk to all restaurants and it was a short uber into town to go shopping and have dinner. We will definitely be coming back.

Lovely El Zalate

We stayed for 3 weeks at El Zalate. We were concerned at first (before we went) about the walk on the road to the business area etc. It was definitely hazardous in parts but overall, if you were careful, it was fine. In one area there is no sidewalk all. There were big dangerous holes etc in the sidewalk at a few areas etc. Once we got the hang of it, it was fine. Just had to be very careful as we were super close to fast traffic. The beach was amazing. Gear was provided in the condo for sitting on the beach etc. The pool area was amazing also. Super clean, well kept, beautiful landscaping. The only thing was that many folks were saving lounges for long periods of time even though it was stated in the property guidelines that you could only save for 30 minutes. The condo was very well equipped. Had everything we needed and more. Was the perfect size for the two of us. We both thought it is in dire need of some TLC. Needs a good painting and trim around doorways was very worn off and it looked grubby when we first walked in. The condo was cleaned before we got there and due to a mixup with cleaning crew we were delayed 3 hours in getting in. Screens are needed in almost every room. The main patio door had no screen at all and same with one bedroom. The other bedroom had a screen that was torn all along the bottom. Both bathrooms needed new screens also. We used salad forks to hold the windows up. Patio was fantastic.

Amazing!

Ground floor unit steps from two large pools, a jacuzzi and the beach access. The complex is exceptionally clean, safe, and well maintained. The condo itself is one of the cleanest and most well stocked we've stayed in. We are a family of 5 (3 young kids) and I highly recommend.

Amazing Property & Location

We absolutely loved this property and location and look forward to coming back. You can't beat the ground floor location just steps from the pool. We have 2 children and could sit on the patio and watch them swim from here. The patio is the highlight. Comfortable patio furniture with a view of the ocean and pool. We cooked out on the patio grill a couple nights for relaxed evening meals. The beach in front of this property is clean, quiet and safe. There are some great places to eat within walking distance . Loved our beach walks to a couple restaurants for great seafood, tacos and cocktails. The property was safe, clean and the residents were very friendly. Parking on site was safe and easy and Uber was a reliable option as well. The interior is comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. We highly recommend this property!

Great Stay

El Zalate is a great property. The proximity to food, town and the beach are all so close. Our suite was great and so accessible to the pool as it was ground level. So nice with kids! We would highly recommend and come back anytime.

Perfect vacation!

This is the perfect location if you are seeking a relaxing, peaceful vacation directly on the beach within close proximity to activities in and around San Jose del Cabo. The unit is clean and well appointed. It includes all of the essentials, plus a water filter in the kitchen, all of the beach accessories and pool toys you will need and a large, comfortable patio area with direct access to the pools and ocean. Malie is very responsive and helpful with recommendations for the area. The community is well maintained and provides 24 hour security and gated access. And the homeowners and other renters at El Zalate are so friendly. We enjoyed sunrises on the beach, play time at the pool with separate areas for kids and adults, and exploring downtown San Jose del Cabo as well as other destinations. I particularly appreciated the serenity and tranquility of this location. This is not a destination for those seeking more of a party atmosphere. The community is quiet in the evening and you can hear the ocean waves. I recommend renting a car to have easy access to downtown, restaurants and shopping, but there is a convenience store on the corner, some restaurants within walking distance and Uber/cabs are very accessible. Thank you for your hospitality, Malie! We will certainly return!

Lovely - step out to the pool and well-equipped

Very firm guest bed mattress is the only *caution*, otherwise highly recommend. Condo was well equipped for beach, cooking and kids. Very quiet unit and great and spacious layout.

Wonderful location

My daughters and I had a relaxing vacation at Malie’s condo. The proximity to the pool and beach was perfect. The condo was well stocked and very comfortable for our party of 4. Communication with the host was superb. We will definitely return!

Wonderful Stay

The property was great! The pics did not do it justice, the pools were beautiful, the beach is right down a set of stairs,; you can catch the sunrise over the ocean with just a few steps. Well equipped kitchen with water filter. Spacious and clean. We really enjoyed ourselves here. Owner gave us great ideas about things to do around the area too.

Wonderful unit, grounds, location and communication

We had an amazing time and loved the beautiful and clean unit, enjoying the multiple pools and hot tubs, the beach, surfing and amazing communication from the owner. The unit was well stocked, looked even better than the pictures and we’d come back in a heartbeat.

Ground floor condo

The location of this unit on the ground floor worked out ok, easy access to pool and beach. Unfortunately there was only one slider (out of 3) that had a screen door. It was on the bedroom slider and it didn’t slide open. The living room and other bedroom no screens. Difficult to leave wide open because of mosquitoes. The condo unit itself needs some TLC. New drapes, screen doors and outdoor cushions to start. Both kitchen lights burned out and we let Malie know but in a 3 days the lights were not changed out. She did apologize that the maintenance crew met her down. I’d we had the lights we could have changed the ourselves. The unit could be awesome with some updates. El Zalate was quiet and very secure. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We rented a car and getting into the old town area of shopping and great restaurants was quick and easy. We love SJD and will be back.

Beautiful location

We enjoyed our stay at El Zalate for the second time. This garden level unit did not disappoint. The large covered patio was very comfortable. During our visit the sun just grazed the edge of the patio so it did not get blasted at any part of the day making it a cool place to relax. The unit had everything we needed for our stay from a fully stocked kitchen to beach chairs and umbrella. The complex is a smaller, very well maintained property but has plenty of space so you don’t feel like you are invading others while at the pool. The quiet hours start at dinner so you can enjoy the peaceful sunset and while eating dinner. We did not need the second bedroom but having the large patio was well worth the extra money! We will definitely return to this unit if available.

Perfect spot for a relaxing stay

The VRBO was spacious, comfortable and well stocked with a beautiful private deck overlooking the pools and ocean. Grounds were beautifully maintained. Place was safe and convenient. We took UBER to town for a couple dollars when we didn’t feel like walking. Loved our time there! Stayed 8 nights and wish it had been longer. Thanks!
