Welcome to 138 Hooded Merganser, a stunning 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath residence nestled behind the Vanderhorst gate, offering picturesque views of the lagoon and Osprey Point Golf Course. This exquisite home boasts an open floor plan designed to maximize natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The foyer leads into a spacious living room featuring a gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and large windows that frame the scenic vistas. Adjacent is a separate dining area with sliding doors leading out to the deck. The spacious outdoor space includes a screened-in porch off the kitchen as well as an outdoor seating area and dining table for ten, providing a serene retreat to relax and unwind.
This immaculate house has 5 bedrooms in total, two of which are located on the main floor. The primary bedroom features a comfortable king sized bed, a walk-in closet, and a luxurious ensuite bath with dual sinks, a soaking tub, and an oversized walk-in glass shower. The second spacious bedroom features a queen sized bed and ensuite bath. The three remaining bedrooms are upstairs, providing versatile space for everyone: two king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a large bedroom containing 4 twin beds with an adjoining powder room. In addition, the home boasts a second den upstairs that includes a seating area, two smart tvs, a wet bar and beverage fridge, and a pool table, perfect for entertaining family and friends. There is even a brand new gas grill and a 2nd fridge/freezer located in the garage to make sure everyone eats well during your stay!
Kiawah Island is celebrated for its pristine 10-mile beach, diverse wildlife, and world-class golfing facilities. Nestled amidst lush natural surroundings, it offers an idyllic backdrop for outdoor activities such as biking, strolling, kayaking, and birdwatching. Moreover, the island boasts upscale dining options and opulent facilities, blending leisure with sophistication effortlessly. No smoking, no pets, and no events (including but not limited to parties or any gathering exceeding the 12 person max limit). There are exterior security cameras present in the home one Ring camera at the front and a garage camera.
Have several guests and need more accommodation? We also have another home on the same street!
As our guest, you will have access to 5 Championship Golf Courses, including The Ocean Course, location of the 2021 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center. No access available for resort pools or fitness center.
If you have the time, make a short trip (30 miles) to Charleston, America's most charming southern city. There you'll find world class dining, shopping and lots to explore.
When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. May not be available last minute. Upon booking you will be sent a rental agreement to review and complete online.
