We truly enjoyed our stay...the house felt warm and inviting...the quietness and views were amazing...we thank you for sharing your home with us...it was the greatest gift to our mom as she turned 80...it had been 62 years since her last visit in that area...it brought back wonderful memories...the house will not disappoint ,go check it out !

Hygge couldn't be a more perfect name for this beautiful home! Exactly what we needed for a relaxing girl's weekend.The home is cozy, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The host has truly thought of everything, every little detail made our stay effortless and enjoyable. We spent the weekend laughing, relaxing, and recharging before heading back to the real world.If you're looking for the true feeling of hygge, this is it. We can't recommend this home enough and would love to come back!

This place is awesome! It was the perfect size for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids). The hosts did an amazing job with the amenities.... from the game cabinet, K-cup variety, kitchen necessities and kayaks, there was nothing our family needed that we couldn't find. Everything in the home is top of the line. It really felt like we were staying in a high end cabin! Would definitely recommend this location!!

The Hygge House is an absolutely lovely property. The decor is top notch, and the furniture is beautiful AND comfortable! The home was immaculate & communication with the property manager was virtually instantaneous. It is hard to describe the beauty & peacefulness of Little Spirit lake. Don’t hesitate to rent this property. You will love it!

Heavenly Lake Cabin with Beautiful Views

Beautifully remodeled lake cabin with real white pine panelled walls, vaulted ceilngs, beautiful flooring, fireplace, and designer touches everywhere, yet so warm, comfortable and inviting. The entire stay was amazing!! Everything was spotlessly clean!! The beds and furniture were exceptionally comfortable. The kayaking was great on this peaceful lake. Paul was responsive to questions and the communication was excellent. The hosts are so kind and have thought of everything to make this an amazing, relaxing, and fun experience.

Stunning/aesthetically pleasing House on Little Spirit Lake

Thank you Paul and Micah! We had an absolutely perfect stay at this beautiful house on the lake! The place was spotless—so clean and beautifully remodeled from top to bottom. The décor and overall aesthetics were stunning, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel cozy yet luxurious. One of the highlights was having access to kayaks, which made exploring the lake even more fun. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to that serene, sparkling lake each morning was unforgettable. We made great memories with our adult children and 14 month old grandson. Highly recommend!

10/10 stay!Hygge was one of the best lake homes we’ve rented. The view was worth every penny and the inside was so charming! I grew up going to summer camp and I loved the nod they gave to that! The decor was so well chosen and welcoming. It was nostalgic but everything was modern and convenient. It had everything we needed! Our last day we didn’t even leave the property. We just enjoyed the lake and luxury. Our family of 5 could comfortably hang out inside playing games or watcching shows. Paul got back to us almost immediately when we needed help. Would definitely recommend Hygge!!

This was easily one of my favorite rental properties I’ve ever booked! The theme and overall concept/design was spot on. Great location in a peaceful setting. The house was so clean and welcoming when we arrived. The hosts left us such a nice note greeting us. We enjoyed the kayaks and sipping coffee on the back deck. This was our first trip to the Okoboji area and we already can’t wait to go back! Hopefully we can stay here again.

This cabin was perfect for our annual ladies weekend getaway! Lots of great food and live entertainment close by. Host was very helpful and excellent in making sure our stay was perfect. The only thing we would recommend is an upgrade on the dock for those guests who enjoy spending majority of time at the lakeside sunbathing and swimming. 10/10 would recommend.
