Villa Monte Verde se encuentra en sus propios terrenos, el acceso es a través de una pista privada con puertas de seguridad protegidas en la entrada. Hay 5 dormitorios que se encuentran todos en un nivel y dan al pasillo largo. Situado en un extremo del pasillo hay un dormitorio individual que conduce a un dormitorio doble con baño y ducha a ras de suelo, ambos amueblados en tonos neutros. Enfrente está la entrada a la cocina recién reformada que está totalmente equipada más un lavadero. En el otro extremo del pasillo están los 2 dormitorios con 2 camas individuales, que tienen unidades empotradas y comparten un baño completo y ducha. El dormitorio principal está decorado en blanco y negro con unidades equipadas, TV con baño y una ducha adicional. Unidades de aire acondicionado instaladas en el dormitorio,

El salón-comedor ha sido amueblado en tonos relajantes y tiene capacidad para 10 en cómodos sofás junto con un televisor de pantalla plana, Internet TV, reproductor de DVD y CD. El comedor tiene capacidad para 8 personas. Las puertas dan a la terraza cubierta.

Villa Monte Verde, tiene un muy buen supermercado a poca distancia llamado Intermache, cerca de Aldi y Apolina Beach también se encuentra a 5 minutos en automóvil de Villa al pueblo de Carvoeiro, aquí encontrará muchas playas hermosas, incluida la playa de Carvoerio, Vale Centianes, Benagil y mucho mas.

Situado a poca distancia en coche se encuentra el parque acuático Slide and Splash, el espectáculo Zoomarine Aqua y, para aquellos a los que les gusta beber vino, cerca del centro comercial Algarve es donde Cliff Richard tiene un viñedo.

Las sardinas tradicionales son imprescindibles en Portimao, también puede partir en esta área para varios viajes en barco y pesca en alta mar con algo de terapia de compras y mercados.

Las montañas de Monchique están aproximadamente a 40 minutos en coche, o la ciudad de Silves, donde hay un castillo de cierto valor histórico, que le ofrece hermosas vistas del Algarve.

Albufeira y sus alrededores están a unos 20-30 minutos en coche, donde encontrará muchos clubes nocturnos y bares junto con las playas.

Wir haben die Gastgeberin nicht persönlich kennen gelernt, der Schriftwechsel nach unser Abreise hat uns aber erschrocken. Etwa eine Stunde nach der Schlüsselrückgabe an den Hausmeister/ Verwalter bekamen wir eine ultimative Aufforderung 2400 Pfund für einen beschädigten Aussentisch zu zahlen. Die Forderung wurde später auf ca. 1500 Pfund reduziert. Wir warten noch auf eine richtige Berechnung( Zeitwert?).Die Ausstattung ist so lal la. Die Menge der Gläser ist eher zu er Versichgering für acht Personen. Scharfe Messer sind Mangelware. Wir haben erst einmal selbst eins gekauft, ebenso eine einfache Kaffeemaschine.In zwei Zimmern sind die Matratzen ziemlich hart, das ist Geschmacksache.Die Sache ist jetzt bei der Versicherung.Davon abgesehen ist die Lage des Hauses wegen der Sicht sehr schön. Wegen des eigenen Kinderspielplatzes ist das Haus für Familien mit kleinen Kindern gut geeignet.Nervig sind die vielen an die Wände geklebten Hinweise und Verbote. Wegen unserer Erfahrung mit der Vermieterin würde ich die Anmietung nicht empfehlen.

The villa was fabulous and very well equipped. The beds were comfortable and everything was as described. Linda was fantastic to deal with and very responsive. We loved the location and the town nearby. It is a 5 euro Uber ride away and has a great selection of restaurants and bars only a short distance from the villa. There are also a number of great golf courses nearby. We would recommend this to anyone and we are very grateful for the kind hospitality

2 Families with 5 kids, the villa is lovely and very well spec’d the supermarket is a 5 min walk and the Ubers back are frequent. Minor issue with the deposit, which was resolved in 24hrs and we had a great time.

One of the best equipped villas we’ve stayed in (and we’ve stayed in a lot over the years) with lots of nice areas to relax or sunbathe. Extremely clean and very well organised. The management company were very helpful and made the stay effortless.

Beautiful accommodation for the whole family.

The home is absolutely beautiful with stunning views and very spacious. We really enjoyed our time here however there were a few niggles, most of which were very quickly resolved by Linda and her team. We paid extra for pool heating but this wasn't activated until 2 days into the holiday due to a broken pool heater. I appreciate this couldn't have been planned for but we paid for a full weeks pool heating and missed out on 2 days of this. The BBQ was very dirty and could tell it hadn't been cleaned for a while, we only used this once because of this. We couldn't locate the hammock as shown as the pictures and there was no hot tub which was disappointing. The floor by the pool was so slippery when wet it was dangerous for my children so we had to purchase pool shoes for them. Overall we enjoyed our stay and knowing the above, we would love to stay again.

A wonderful stay in a wonderful villa!

We had a fabulous week in this villa. Would highly recommend. The outside space is the reason we booked the villa and it did not disappoint. Every bit as amazing as the pictures show. The kitchen area, pool, dining spaces and sun beds were all fantastic. As were the views! We absolutely loved it. The inside space was great too - spacious and comfortable and bathrooms good. Only couple of things to note were: - The air con in the double room attached to single room did not work. This made it extremely hot in there the whole week as they couldn’t get an engineer out during the time we were there. The villa manager was responsive to our request though and did what he could. We appreciate that these things happen and it can’t be helped sometimes. It did make it too hot for our girls to sleep in that room though. - We felt that we could have done with at least one more umbrella in the outside area. There was one umbrella and also the pergola and awning but for lying on the sun beds around the pool, another umbrella would have made it more comfortable in the extreme heat. - we had to just give the kitchen worktops outside and some of the plastic crockery a wash when we used them for the first time as they didn’t feel particularly clean. All in all, a wonderful place. In a convenient location for supermarkets and also a 25ish minute walk to carvoeiro. Thank you Linda and the team, we had a great week!

Excellent - higher than a six

We stayed for 10 nights from 23rd October. We had some queries before we went and Linda was great in assisting us. It was a true privilege to stay at Linda's property. It has all you need for a totally relaxing holiday. It is very private, very tastefully decorated, elegant in every way with plenty of space and a large pool. We didnt use the kids play area as we had no kids with us but we did enjoy the table tennis !! Outside as well as the great pool there is a smart barbeque area and another elegant outdoor seating area in addition to an outdoor table for eating outside. Certainly superb and when the scores are recorded out of 5 I can only score this excellent property - higher than a six.

Menschliches Versagen

Ein neu renoviertes Anwesen, leider absolut ungepflegt. Keine Reinigung vor der Ankunft, verschmutztes Geschirr in den Kästen, keine hygienische Bodenreinigung, schmutzige Handtücher und kein Personal verfügbar, dass dies beseitigt. Insgesamt eine super Lage aber leider eine schlechte Führung/Vermietering, die auch sehr unfhöflich und dreist ist.

Beautiful outdoor space

We stayed at Linda's property with my sister's family, and the space was perfect for two families sharing. Linda provided a lovely welcome package of wine and snacks which we felt was a really nice touch. She was very easy to get in touch with and answered questions promptly. The outdoor space is the real star of the property and is very modern and well kept. The house was very clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was that one of the bedrooms has an AC unit that turns off after only a few minutes, meaning that we regularly overheated and woke up to turn it back on - and didn't sleep too well. This could be resolved by allowing it to stay on during sleeping hours. Thank you Linda for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful villa - perfect family getaway!

Just back from 10 nights in this gorgeous villa - 4 adults, 4 teens and a 5 year old. Absolutely loved the pool and the fabulous outdoor kitchen where we spent most evenings after a lazy afternoon at Carveiro beach. Ample space for everyone to have fun together and still be able to escape for some peace and quiet. Very convenient 5 minute walk to Intermarche for groceries - wonderful selection of everything you need, especially meat, fish, fruit and veg and the bakery - perfect for foodies and self catering. Loved the fact that there are no immediate Neighbours so kids could play freely in the pool and there was no noise at night so everyone slept like babies! Linda was so professional from the time we made the booking until our last day. She was always available to answer questions. We hope to be back again next year x

50th birthday holiday with family and friends.

We have just returned from our holiday at Monte Verde and we all had a wonderful time and was totally above our expectations. The villa catered for everybody's needs and the outside area was absolutely stunning. We all made use of the outside seating area's around the villa. The location of the villa was great, supermarket a few minutes walking distance and also the walk into town was a 20 minute walk. The owner was very helpful throughout the booking of our holiday and whilst at the villa the management service was very responsive. All of our party agreed they would love to return to Monte Verde in the future.

A lovely stay

We were very pleased with the whole experience. Linda was very kind and supportive through the booking process despite Covid delays and issues with Vrbo. The villa (and pool) was lovely from my perspective with easy access to supermarkets and a short drive to the town and beaches. The town was busier than expected but it was peak season.

Lovely Villa

Really great property that suited our group perfectly. Spacious and clean and walking distance to a great supermarket. My only negative would be that it’s about a 30 mins walk into town which is along a busy fast road and taxis were sometimes hard to come by. But nonetheless this had no impact on our stay and it really is a great villa. Linda has been amazing rebooking our trip throughout the pandemic. We hope to go back in the future.

Very pleasant stay in Carvoiero

Our communication with Linda, the owner, was as good as anyone could hope for on a villa rental. She was obviously completely committed to her guests getting the very most from their holiday. The local management company were easy to contact and resolved any minor issues immediately. They also visited the villa proactively to address issues, for example with electric gates and pool pump, that we were not even aware of. The villa layout was ideal, with comfortable furniture and beds, and quality bathrooms. The kitchen units and appliances were of high quality; crockery and utensils in acceptable supply. The aspect of the villa that we enjoyed most was its outside areas. The view was more even more open and appealing than we anticipated from the listing photos. The terrace and pergola offered shade with high quality and comfortable furniture. There were plenty of comfortable sunbeds and parasols round the pool, which we had arranged to be heated and was very pleasant for most of our stay, albeit it got a bit too warm to be refereshing during a two/three day hot spell in our early July holiday. Later in the summer, I do not think heating would be necassary. While access to Carvoiero was easy and the Intermarche very convenient, the area does not lend itself to going out for a local stroll. The access road from the main road is a very rough track between solid rock walls. For 100 metres or so, passing would not be possible without someone reversing.

Wir waren vom 18. Dez. 2019 - 07. Jan. 2020 in dieser Villa. Der Kontakt zu den Eigentümern und zur Hauverwaltung hat immer sehr gut funktioniert. Die Villa ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und Wände und Decken wurde teilweise kurz vor unserem Einzug neu gestrichen. Leider war das wohl beabsichtigt, um das Schimmelproblem des Hauses zu kaschieren. Nachdem wir im eiskalten Haus ankamen, mussten wir feststellen, dass alle Gasflaschen der Heizung leer waren. Es hat dann einen ganzen Tag gedauert, bis diese ausgetauscht wurden. Man konnte zwar mit den Klimageräten heizen, aber die Bäder waren trotzdem kalt. Da wir schon seit über 25 Jahren an die Algarve fahren, wissen wir, dass viele Ferienhäuser mit Schimmel zu kämpfen haben. Aber was wir hier vorgefunden haben, dass hatten wir so noch nicht erlebt. Massiver Schimmel vor allem im Master-Schlafzimmer und in den Bädern sowie sehr klamme Schlafzimmer. Und je mehr geheizt wurde, desto mehr Schimmel kam dazu. Außerdem trägt die oberflächliche Reinigung der Bäder noch dazu bei, dass sich der Schimmel vermehren kann. War waren sehr enttäuscht, zumal auch ein knapp 2 Jahre altes Kleinkind dabei war. Diese Villa ist definitiv aufgrund der kühleren Temperaturen nicht in der Zeit von November bis Ende März zu empfehlen. In der anderen Zeit ist es sicherlich ein schönes Haus, gerade für größere Familien.

Spacious & stylish villa with great facilities

Fantastic and friendly communication from Linda before our trip. The villa is spacious and stylish with plenty of nice spots to have meals/drinks outside. The TV in the homely living room has English channels, as well as catch-up TV and movies which were nice to have during the colder winter evenings. It was an easy 30 minute walk to the small town and beach, which is pleasant, though quiet in December with only a few of the restaurants open. There is a superb supermarket with a little cafe, bakery and pizza kiosk just a 5 minute walk away. It stocks everything you could possibly need, including lots of fresh produce and meats, at very reasonable prices so perfect if you like to do some cooking. The kitchen at the villa is very well-equipped with plenty of space. We had a really enjoyable stay and it's not hard to imagine how extra nice it must be in the summer.

Super Aussenbereich

Das Haus ist sehr gross und hat alles was man so braucht. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr schön. Sauberer Pool und Grill Bereich Von dort aus kommt man zu Fuss super zum Supermarkt. Wenn man aber was extern essen gehen möchte braucht man zwingend ein Auto. Viele Strände in der Nähe, welche eine unglaubliche Kulisse bieten.

We currently live in the UK, having spent most of all the summer in the Algarve especially when our children where growing up. We enjoy travelling, walking, going to the theatre especially in London, one of my favourite places is Covent Garden, watching the young artists performing and of course the restaurants In 2017 we celebrated our golden wedding anniversary at our villa, it was amazing family and friends travelled so far to celebrate our special day with us, the venue couldn't have been nicer anywhere else for sharing this happy occasion with our grown up children and grand children, we had a most fabulous time

Monte Verde has been in our family for many years, in the past we have had so much fun with our 2 children, who now have family of there own. Thats why we thought it would be a good idea to erect a play area for clients who have children to play. The play area is enclosed within the property with Astra turf

The villa is located in a quite area, although near the hustle and bustle of the resort, but ideal if you really want to chill out or have fun - Newly re-modernished supermarket within walking distance called 'Intermarche' sells pracically everything for your holiday, especially with the weight restrictions on luggage, ideal for all your toiletries especially for the little ones.
