Every attention to detail has been thought of in this home. The owners’ previous short-term rentals maintained a FIVE STAR rating as your stay experience if very important. Home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, all of which have been remodeled as well as all new furnishings and décor.

The Spaces:

Where You’ll Sleep
Three bedrooms, all of which have been completely remodeled and updated with all new furnishings, bedding and décor.

Bedroom 1
1st Floor Bedroom features a Cal. King bed with all new cozy bedding. Allergen resistant pillowcases and mattress covers are provided for those sensitive to allergies. Extra blankets are provided in the closet if needed. This bedroom also features a wall mount Smart TV. Just log into your favorite streaming services to enjoy. There is a slider door in this bedroom that leads out to a flat backyard private deck to enjoy your morning coffee. Blackout curtains in this bedroom help keep the sunlight out for sleeping in in the morning as well as keeping it warmer in the winter months and cooler in the summer months. This bedroom also has a new dresser and 2 brand new nightstands. There is a large closet with a luggage rack so that you can tuck your belongings away and not take up space in the room. There is also a new ceiling fan located in this bedroom. Please note that the entire home, including the bedrooms, has solid surface, wood style flooring. This type of flooring helps anyone suffering from allergy issues as well as just keeps the home cleaner. No old, dusty allergen ridden carpet in this home.

Bedroom 2 (The Plaid Room)
There is a large bedroom on the 2nd floor that features a king-size bed with all new cozy bedding. Allergen resistant pillowcases and mattress covers are provided for those sensitive to allergies. Extra blankets are provided in the basket if needed and extra pillows are located on the closet shelf. This bedroom also features a large, swivel wall mounted Smart TV. Just log into your favorite streaming services to enjoy. Blackout curtains are provided in this bedroom as well. There is a large closet with 2 luggage racks to accommodate all of your belongings. The 2nd closet is used for storing brooms, mops, etc for our housecleaner. This room also has a small loveseat to enjoy your favorite tv show. There is a new ceiling fan as well as a remote-controlled wall heater located in this bedroom.

Bedroom 3 (The Bear Den Bunk Room)
The bunk room is located on the 2nd floor and features a bunk bed with a twin over a full-size mattress with all new cozy bedding. Allergen resistant pillowcases and mattress covers are provided in this room as well for those sensitive to allergies. Extra, plush blankets are in the basket if needed as well as extra pillows located on the closet shelf. While there is not a tv in this bedroom, there is a large smart TV located in the adjacent lounge area. Blackout curtains are provided. There is a ceiling fan and a wall mounted, remote-controlled wall heater. In addition to the bunk beds, there is a new chair/sleeper floor cushion which would best accommodate a child or young adult. Sheets for this sleeper cushion are located in the basket next to the chair. Adjacent to the bunk room with a barn door separating the two areas is a TV lounge area with a large, Smart TV loaded with all the streaming services. Just log in to enjoy. Located in this lounge area is a loveseat and a wall mounted PacMan arcade game with a stool for you or your kids to enjoy. There are board games located in this room as well. Please note that there is a locked closet in this room marked as “owners closet”. There is no guest access to this closet.

The Bathrooms
There are 2 full bathrooms and both have been remodeled. The main floor bathroom features a large, walk-in shower (no tub). The 2nd floor bathroom features a tub/shower combo with glass shower door. Both bathrooms are supplied with paraben and sulfate free shampoo, conditioner and body wash as well as bath towels, hand towels, washcloths and special makeup remover washcloths. Hairdryers are also provided in each bathroom.

Living Area
The living area is an open concept to the kitchen. Lovely rustic beams welcome you to the cozy family room. The living area has been completely remodeled with all new furniture and furnishings as well as cozy throw blankets to curl up on the couch on a chilly night. There is a new electric fireplace which makes it easy. Just press a button on the remote to enjoy the cozy, cabin vibe. In the living area you will also find a convenient “dump zone” for all of your family’s coats. Baskets are provided for house hats, gloves, etc. There is also a boot tray for your wet shoes. The living room also has a bar-height table located behind the couch for additional kitchen seating for 3 people. Located in the family room is a large, smart TV loaded with all of the streaming services. Just log into your account to enjoy. Blackout curtains are provided to keep the sunlight out and to keep the heat in in the winter months and heat out in the summer months. To cut down on dust, there are no blinds located in this room. Just gently pull the curtains shut for privacy. The smart thermostat for the heat in the home is located next to the staircase. There is remote access to ensure the home is climate ready for your arrival.

The Kitchen-
Enjoy the completely remodeled, open-concept modern rustic kitchen with beautiful beams. You will find brand new cabinets and appliances as well as dishware, utensils, etc in this fully stocked kitchen. We provide a large cabinet pantry to the right of the fridge for you to store all of your food and snacks for your stay. There is a Keurig K-Duo Single serve & carafe unit coffee maker provided. A handful of k-cups are provided in the drawer under the coffee maker for your stay. In the kitchen there is seating for 4 at the kitchen table, 2 at the island and seating for 3 at the counter table located behind the couch. Plenty of seating for ALL! Paper towels are provided to get you started and a few trash bags for your stay as well. Spices that you may need for cooking are on site as well. Trash reminder-please do not leave any trash on property as this is the mountains and there are wild animals. All trash needs to be placed in the provided outdoor trash bin.

Outdoor Spaces:
Relax in either the front fenced yard or the private, fenced backyard. The backyard provides a partially covered porch with seating and a built-in live-edge bar top for enjoying your meal outdoors. A propane gas grill and propane gas firepit are provided on the back porch. Please note that Big Bear Lake does not allow charcoal or open flame grills.
