This is a historic Old Colorado City home that has been restored and renovated to provide all the amenities of a modern house.

The main level offers towering ceilings, mountain views from the bedrooms, and kitchen, a comfortable living room for relaxing after exploring Colorado Springs. The large dining table is perfect for family dinners or large groups.

The basement has a huge projector screen in the living area for the perfect movie night. There are two additional bedrooms and another full kitchen in the basement as well.

The grassy yard is equipped with furniture and a fire pit! There's a dog run on the side of the house for your furry friend.

The property was nice and close to many things to do. There were an unusual amount of homeless nearby but i would put that on the church nearby that fed them which caused many to be in the area. The property itself was nice but is an old property with older property issues. The wood floors were very creaky and some items were not tightened down all the way like the upstairs bathrooms sink faucet. Overall this property was very nice. The projector was a lot of fun to use and worth it for movie nights or game nights. There was a decent space outside for activities including a big field across the street that was a part of the school there. We did get hit by hail pretty bad that caused some water leaks but the owners were quick to send someone out to check the damage out. Would definitely recommend this property to others. Just be aware that the age of the property brings along issues you get from houses that are older.

Great House for Family

This was a great spot for our family. The house is split in a full upstairs suite and full downstairs suite. My sister, husband and son stayed upstairs and we stayed downstairs. Great layout. Fans and white noise machines in every room and less than 10 minutes from Garden of the Gods

Awesome and cute

Very nice arrangement. Cute, clean and had everything you need. I would suggest a gate across the stairs since you are dog friendly and the porch is so amazing. Also would help those with littles. Be aware bathroom is downstairs, but very clean and nice, beautiful sink, nice grill and outdoor area. Such nice construction and the "stars" above the bed a nice touch. We loved it and would recommend for anyone looking for a glamping plus trip. amazing. Also would

"camping" with our toddler

We had a wonderful time enjoying the outdoors and staying in the cozy treehouse style cabin. Our toddler had a fun time and loved taking an outdoor shower!! Everything you need is there to make the stat easy and comfortable! It was very beautiful and I hope to go back!

The Perfect getaway

Hi, I needed a place to relax and get away from the city. I ended up going as a solo female and felt completely comfortable staying at this location. The cabin was lovely, neat, and clean. It was perfect for me. It was breath of fresh air literally.

Very well thought-out

I've stayed in many many properties from VRBO and others, and this place was SOO well thought-out!! From every little thing- I was super impressed!!! It's even nicer than the photos when you are there. We had an amazing time out by the fire at night and very much "glamping" vibes but it was really really nice!!!!! I couldn't believe how clean everything was especially considering a lot of it was outdoors, it felt brand new. AC worked well, I will definitely be back!!! XOXO

Enchanting indeed!

This was an amazing stay. I give it 99/100! The only thing I was left wanting was a skillet for cooking, there was everything you would ever need for cooking out doors (even 3 separate pots), just no skillet. Everything else about the stay was perfect! I’ll be telling all my elf friends they need to come to the tree house off Old Potato Road!

Amazing Getaway

My family and I had an amazing stay! The property is beautiful and was very clean. My son loved the tree house and thought it was the coolest place ever. 😊 The host provided everything we needed, communication was great, and the check-in process was very smooth. Scenic glamping

What a sweet and charming getaway! I appreciate all the special touches. They even have marshmallow skewers for making s'mores. Our six year old thought the outdoor shower constructed of recycled glass bottles was the coolest part. You'll love staying here with your family.

Lovely weekend getaway

There is something for everyone to love here. We enjoyed the multiple seating areas outside and the incredible star gazing. Our six year old loved EVERYTHING, especially the outdoor shower! Our city dog was in hog heaven being able to run around free. We were in the area to visit the state parks and this property is easily located near both. Downtown Bastrop was so fun and the food was amazing! We can't wait for our next visit!!

Anniversary to Remember

What a wonderful experience!! My husband and I spent the weekend there for our wedding anniversary and wow we were impressed! You feel safe and secure the moment you drive up because it is gate (with code) protected! The view from the air conditioned bed room is absolutely breath taking at sunrise and sunset! There are seating options in the balcony and two wonderful hammock swings in the common area! The grill was easy to use and the fire pit was beautiful!! The host was wonderful! We will absolutely go back, we have found our weekend gateway spot from here on out!! Can't wait to bring our dogs and our son to experience this little spot!!

The treehouse was cute, comfortable and so quiet! We loved the outdoor shower and definitely took advantage of it! The Owner gave great instructions to get to this hidden gem!

A Wonderful Experience

The Elf’s Aerie is a fantastic tree house. It is a must have experience. James is a great host! We enjoyed the outdoor hot water shower in an artistic building. We had a delicious on-site campfire dinner with our dogs Mickey and Leila. The tree house is at a convenient location, 4 minutes to grocery stores and 10 minutes to Bastrop Walmart, Buc-ee’s, and 2 state parks. We drove a Tesla for the road trip. The Buc-ee’s most current superchargers made our trip easier.

Elf’s Aerie

The Elf’s Aerie was exactly as advertised. It was easy to find and check in. The place was very clean and the outdoor shower was a nice experience. The restroom was very clean as well. Nice getaway, my husband and I would definitely come back. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and body bar soap were provided. They even had some waters in the mini fridge. Coffee station well stocked.
