Inside, the converted garage game room offers endless entertainment with a pool table, an additional smart TV, basketball arcade and comfortable lounge areas. Want to be close to all the action in Fort Worth? You have come to the right place! This home is located less than 3 miles to Dickies Arena hosting concerts, live events and the famous Fort Worth Stockshow and Rodeo. If you make your way to Cowtown outside of the rodeo dates, you can head to the Stockyards (also just a few minutes away) and grab tickets to the famous Cowtown Coliseum hosting rodeos every Friday night. Don't miss the daily longhorn cattle drive and the John Wayne: An American Experience museum along with nightlife and amazing dining opportunities. The concert venue, Tannihill's is also something to check out - tickets in advance of shows are highly recommended.
Outdoor enthusiasts, kayakers, bikers and bird watchers....we have a hidden secret to share! It's called the Airfield Falls Trailhead. Less than 5 minutes away and gives access to walking and biking trails as well as access to drop your personal kayak (no rentals available). The scenery is breathtaking....weeping willow trees, waterfalls, benches and places to throw out a picnic blanket (picnic cooler and blanket provided at the Hacienda).

Airfield Falls Trailhead & Conservation Park

Tarrant County’s largest natural waterfall. Situated just 1.5 miles from the Sunset Hacienda, the park offers visitors a serene escape into nature.
This park is a best kept secret and while parking is limited - the crowds are usually minimal most times of the year. Its a great place to take pictures!

• Waterfall: The park’s main attraction is its 15-foot waterfall, which cascades in two sections, providing a picturesque setting for visitors.

• Trails: A short, paved trail of approximately 0.25 miles leads directly to the waterfall. For those seeking a longer walk, there’s a 1.9-mile out-and-back trail that is generally considered easy and takes about 36 minutes to complete.

• Wildlife: The area is home to native wildlife and serves as a habitat for monarch butterflies during their migration periods.

• Historical Significance: Adjacent to the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, the park features parts from a McDonnell Douglas C-9 aircraft, honoring the area’s aviation history. In October 2017, it received two Texas Historic Markers recognizing its significance.

• Picnic Pavilion: A covered area with picnic tables is available for visitors to relax and enjoy meals.

• Butterfly Garden: A designated area planted with native flora attracts butterflies, enhancing the park’s natural beauty.

Another park we enjoy is the Chisholm Trail Park: A community park offering walking trails, playgrounds, and open spaces for recreational activities.
This park is located adjacent to Clearfork (which has high end shopping and dining options) and hosts a Farmers Market every Saturday morning from 8am-12noon - weather permitting. There is a bike shop where you can rent bikes to hit the trail alongside the Trinity River.

A few notes from the owners:

1. NO PARTIES, NO SMOKING, NO E-CIGARETTES OR VAPING
This is a DRUG FREE and PET FREE property

2. This property has a noise ordinance starting at 10pm. You can still be outdoors after this time but music needs to be turned off and loud noises/yelling/talking etc needs to be lowered in volume as to not disrupt our neighbors (who are not on vacation like you are:) Please help us be a good neighbor.

3. After booking any of our 7 properties, you will receive a link to enter your credit card for a security hold. THIS IS NOT A CHARGE but will initiate 2 days prior to your stay and might show up as pending on your card at that time and will fall off after checkout.
We are what’s called an “integrated property” with all booking platforms. You are welcome to contact the platform you are booking through and verify this information.
In addition, you will be asked to sign a lease agreement - which is a measure of protection for all parties.
We love hosting and desire to keep our properties and our guests safe and enjoying all the amenities and details we have worked so hard to incorporate into our homes.

4. If you choose to park in the street - please face your car in the same direction as traffic on the street. There is a small police station that patrols our area and they will give you a ticket for parking the wrong way.
