The house was perfect for our group of four adults and 2 kids. The pool right next door was super convenient and fun. The beach was a less than five minute walk.The house supplied many necessities such as towels, beach chairs, cooking materials and basics like salt, sugar and other seasonings. Washer, dryer and dishwasher were all a great addition. ACs kept the rooms cool. WiFi was awesome and everyone had a great time. House is super close to lots of local attractions. 10/10 would absolutely stay again.

Very close to the beach. It was nice that beach chairs and beach towels were provided . The bath towels were similar to work out towels and was unexpected with the 100 linen fee. Also they required you to wash and dry your towels prior to checkout . A very strange checkout process especially when people typically take showers in the morning . They told us to leave the towels we used in the washing machine and wash when we left. The place could use some updating, but overall it was a nice place to stay.

The house worked perfectly for our family of 6. The kitchen is stocked with dining and cooking ware so no need to bring anything. We had a great week and the house was part of it

Great beach vacation

The house was wonderful! Clean and well maintained. Very convenient being walking distance to the beach and restaurants and having access to the pool. The only downside was the pool prohibits children in diapers or not potty trained so our 1 year old couldnt go in.

Cute, clean beach house

We felt very welcomed. The house is very clean and equipped with everything that you might need. Linens, towels, and beach chairs were provided. The walk to the beach is less than 5 min. The restaurants in the area are awesome. Would love to come back next summer.

Nice cape home close to beach

We had a great stay at this conveniently located home on a quiet street with a small beach at the end. The house was very comfortable with minisplits in each room. We had everything we needed. Very pleased with the communication with Scott prior to our stay and with the property manager during our stay. It was a great week.

Great property!

So many great things about this property! Comfy beds (might want your own pillows though because they were pretty stiff), very clean and the house’s design is an awesome open space to gather. Second 1/2 bath, central air and dishwasher were great bonuses! We were sad the outdoor shower was not enclosed because we love being about to shower outdoors in the Cape. Owner and property manager are excellent with communication!

What a great memory making home, my three children and husband and I spent a week here in August and it was perfect. We love that the pool is close and in the yard but behind a large secure gate for safety. The back yard that is private is also the perfect size for my boys to play soccer and just run around in. The walk to the beaches, and the restaurants that my 5 and 6 year old didn’t even complain for the walking distance. We do bring our own wagon to help with the walk and gear, but all in all the home is so close in distance that my husband was even able to walk my two year old back to the house for naps while we were at the beach. The pool is a great size and genuinely never busy. Sometimes there are people there but we went in every single day and hardly ever swam with anyone. It felt private. The biggest feature that is so nice and rare is that each bedroom and room has its own ac unit on the wall keeping the home so comfortable. My kids have already asked to come back again next year.

Nice place & location

Great stay…enjoyed the location. House was cute and well-stocked for all your needs. Two items to clarify on listing—it’s a 1.5 bath. One bathroom has no shower, and there is an outdoor shower listed as a “”bathroom w/ shower”. We should have read closer as this drove five people to share one bathroom. Also, the room with the bunk beds is accessed through another bedroom. This lead to sibling fighting…so, if you have adults, it’s not an issue. But it caused angst with my kids. Property manager and owner were very responsive and I would use them again.

Great trip ruined by property manager!!

I’ll start by saying the vacation was great, the house was better then advertised in the pictures, and my family enjoyed themselves immensely. The beach is a 2 minute walk, the pool is great, it is big offers many depths and my kids had a blast. The pool is not in any way private, it is a shared space and during our stay it had multiple people throughout the days but that did not affect us. Dennis is a great town which offers a relaxed atmosphere and you feel it all around town. The negatives are minimal, if you own an electric vehicle, as was the case for my family, we drove up in a Tesla and a Jeep wrangler 4xe which require charging. The house has 1 outdoor plug which would require a 25-50 foot extension cord if you needed to charge. Plan around using the charges located around the cape to avoid issues. The other minor problem is the house does not offer any protection for small children, we planned ahead and brought our own safety measures but if you’re a parent with small children consider bringing the necessary safety precautions that suit your family. Now the reason my trip was ruined by the property manager. When I arrived I took pictures of every angle of the house to ensure we returned the property in the same exact co diction. We also brought our own linens, towels, pillow covers and blankets. We also made a checklist of everything we brought and triple checked that our list matched our checklist before leaving. We left on Friday night but not before thoroughly inspecting the property and ensuring all of the linens, and bedding were accounted for. Before I left the house I again took pictures of the property and left a load of laundry in the washer. I sent everything g to the property manager as I walked out the door and thanked them for the awesome time. The next morning I get a text message from the property manager implying that my family stole pillow covers, quilt comforters, mattress toppers etc. i explained my above comment explaining we never touched any of the bedding, or towels and that they were in the house stored away. After being accused numerous times of stealing, and leaving the property a mess because the manager found water balloons outside by the entrance I asked for pictures if said mess. This is when the manager started not only accusing of us stealing but became rude and blocked me. After a short time I was unblocked and received a message saying everything was found inside the house.

We loved our stay and the proximity to the beach was ideal. Perfect location for walking to ice cream and a few near by joints. Also plenty of parking for family that came and went through the week. Having a pool sealed the deal for us.

Perfect property

We very much enjoyed our stay. It worked out great for our group. Lots of room in back yard for kids to run around, and loved all the books and games. So convenient to walk to beach and restaurants. Would definitely consider again!

Nice cozy house- very close to the beach.

The property was perfect. The house was nice and it was so close to the beach. My only complaint is that I have 1 year old twins, and they were not allowed in the pool. I wish I had been told that ahead of time, because we were planning on using the pool. I would definitely stay here again when the kids are out of diapers.

Nice Family-Friendly Home

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very comfortable and clean. We loved the convenience of the backyard pool. It was a short, easy walk to the small beach at the end of the quiet street. The Owner and the Property Manager were both friendly and easy to communicate with, plus we appreciated their recommendations for local restaurants. While the pictures on the listing are accurate, I would say that the home interior is better looking in person.

September Stay

We stayed one week in September. We had great weather and really liked being so close to the beach. We walked down several times per day. The pool was also still open so we swam a few times. The house was fine. Clean and we had everything we needed. No complaints. Great location for traveling around the Cape. Also enjoyed being able to walk to the Sailing Cow for dinner.

Looks Are Deceiving

The property we stayed it was WAY BETTER than we anticipated. The property had been updated since pictures were taken. It was clean and bright and spacious! There were so many amenities in the place, particularly the kitchen (appliances, dishes, cleaning supplies) that I was able to cook just like I was at home! SO CLOSE to the local beaches that we could walk there everyday (even with a toddler). AND THE POOL IS IN YOUR BACKYARD! It doesn’t get more convenient than that! It was only 2.9 miles to the entrance to the rail trail so we were able to enjoy that beautiful trail several times during our stay! On top of the stellar location, the property manager was courteous and attentive! If ever I had a need, she responded immediately! We will definitely be coming back here again!!!!!

Fantastic location and amenities

My family absolutely loved staying at this home for a week. All of the other reviews are completely accurate - the house is conveniently located, the beach is an short and easy walk, the house itself was thoroughly cleaned, and the adjoining pool was the crowning jewel of our vacation for my son. During our stay, the pool was rarely used by anyone else. We are seriously considering returning next year for another rental.

Great location and very homey feel!

My family had a great week staying in the house! The house was in a perfect location, easy to walk down to the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. House was well equipped with everything we needed for the week! Our only complaint was that there is no outside lighting by the deck are. Access to the pool was easy and we usually were the only ones there! Check in process was great and Jean and Scott were quick to respond.

Captain Chase Rd - great location

property is accurately listed on vrbo. At checkin, the house was spotlessly clean and all amenities were available (including beach towels and chairs). The shared pool is right out the back door and was rarely used by anyone but us the whole week. Very short walk to Glendon Rd beach, which is small but pretty and clean. The Dog House, Joey's Pizza, and the Sailing cow (at Glendon beach) are all within walking distance. All 3 are very good, but the dog house and Joey's are great. Sundae School ice cream is a short bike ride and is worth even a far longer ride. What's The Scoop is another close ice cream shop that is veey good. Captain Chase Rd is a seldom used road so the nights were quiet.

Wonderful stay!

This home was absolutely perfect for our vacation. It is very cute (decorated nicely with beachy accents) with everything you need for a week away (washer/dryer, outdoor grill and patio, AC, TV, lots of space). The house was immaculate when we arrived, which is so important, especially now. The location is amazing- a quick walk (5 minutes or less) to a great beach, steps to an awesome pool that was usually empty, close to many wonderful restaurants (that are all doing take-out). Fantastic place!
