A magical oasis nestled on the Monhegan coast. True charm and convenience. Ocean view with true appreciation for the artistic sensibility. We were very grateful for both Emily’s help during our stay

What an amazing stay! Totally magical! This was a beautifully decorated and well equipped cottage. Caretaker was easily accessible. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and sharing coffee with kitties in the garden. The location was conveniently located near several trail heads and the brewery which was a nice stop before heading back for the day for a shower and rest before dinner. Would love to stay again!

Emily’s Seal Haven is an incredible home to rent on Monhegan! We have been coming to Monhegan for 19 years and this has been our favorite home to stay in. Great care was put into this home, and it is very clean and well maintained. This is a home that just feels good to be in! If you like to cook the kitchen is well stocked, the linens are fresh and the ocean views are so beautiful! It is located a short walk to the Mooring Chain for Coffee or Monhegan Brewing and the Bait Bag. You won’t regret a visit!!

This is a remarkable property in a magical location. Beautifully maintained with tremendous views. Really enjoyed the close proximity to Lobster Cove and Mooring Chain. Beer lovers will be thrilled that the Monhegan Brewery is just steps away, too.

Absolutely terrific way to soak in Monhegan

If you are familiar with Monhegan accommodations you will thoroughly enjoy your stay here. A clear level above anything else offered on island. I can’t thank the host enough for making these accommodations available. My family enjoyed the comfort and every detail of our stay here!

I can’t explain how lovely the stay at Emily’s home was. Each step was a dream. She was kind prompt and informative with her communication. Upon arrival a vibrant, fresh garden bouquet was waiting for us in the fully stocked kitchen as the ocean breeze wafted in the open ocean facing windows. The sheets and beds were perfection. Soft, clean and lovely quality. The layout of the house was excellent for our 4 person family. We had friends staying on the other side of the island and their 2 little girls were able to sleep over and have their own beds. BONUS!We have already booked for next year. DREAMY!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here and cannot recommend it highly enough.The house was comfortable, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with spices, oils, and other essentials, making it easy to prepare some meals at home—although we certainly didn't want to miss the fantastic restaurants on Monhegan!One of our favorite aspects of the house was the artwork. The many paintings of Monhegan landscapes gave the home a special sense of place and inspired us to purchase a painting of our own to remember the island by.The location was perfect: peaceful, yet just a short walk from everything we wanted to see and do. We would higly recommend this house to anyone visiting Monhegan and would we would love to stay here again in the future-if Emily will have us!

This house is excellent!!! Fabulous location, immaculately clean, full of amenities, comfortable, great view! I could go on. Emily is fantastic to work with. Our stay couldn't have been any better!!!Plus, Monhegan is a dreamy place.
