4 dormitorios, 2 baños, 100 yardas de la playa, 3. 8 millas de correos, 3 camas queen, 1 doble, 1 doble. Las vistas al mar desde terraza de atrás con sólo un corto paseo de la playa con poca gente. Un nivel que vivían con lavadora / secadora en el garaje completamente cerrado. Cocina totalmente equipada. Cocina recientemente actualizada con gabinetes nuevos / encimeras de granito y baños recientemente actualizados. El área debajo de la cabaña es de bloques de concreto y adoquines con una mesa de picnic y una hamaca, y es un gran lugar para relajarse en los calurosos días de verano.

The Hamilton was very clean and came with some extras in the kitchen. It’s a spacious property - lots of areas to relax with friends / family. Jim was fantastic with staying in touch and making sure we were checked in and secure . This is a very comfortable and spacious beach house - we will be back to stay again!

Fantastic trip! Communication with the host was excellent, the house was well stocked with all of the little things you want on a vacation, the location was AMAZING (short walk to the beach just as advertised). We had a great time and will def return.

Awesome location!! Very well equipped and Jim was wonderful when we had an issue. The lightening storm knocked out the AC and he was prompt in coming over to fix it!!!

The house was perfect for us and in a great location. The homeowners provided information for things to do in that area and amazing places to eat. Would definitely stay there again!

Great property, super responsive owners

We loved our stay - wonderful property, with porch swings, a BBQ grills, and a big hammock, as well as plenty of reclining seats for relaxing indoors. Just a short walk to a private beach, with many great restaurants nearby. The owners were great - always happy to connect and help out. Highly recommended.

Loved our time at The Hamilton

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hamilton. The cottage has been well maintained over the years and is a short walk to the beach. Our children appreciated the extra sand toys stored in the garage! THE owners are great hosts and very responsive. I would highly recommend this home for a family vacation.

Exceptional Vacation

Fantastic stay ! The house was well equipped and very close to the beach (exit the back deck, walk through the backyard, pass one house and you're stepping on sand - Approximately 2-3 minute walk) Plus a basketball hoop, ping pong table, bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards , beach umbrellas too ! Added benefit is that the owners are very pleasant to talk to. Thank you for a great stay.

Quiet family vacation to remember

Great stay. Home was cozy and clean. Short walk to the beach. Kitty Hawk was quiet and not too crowded. The first day there was an issue with a toilet and owner came down same evening and fixed issue. We will be back! Thanks for the great stay!

Outer Banks 2023

We had a great stay. The host was gracious and a delight to work with, always quick to respond. We had 7 adults and the property worked great for us, very short walk to the beach and plenty of beach supplies in the garage. Also centrally located to the many activities available on the Outer Banks. We could not be more pleased.

Nice visit

The property was nice, the decks were great, and everything we needed was there. Very short walk to the beach. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. No ceiling fans in rooms, except 1. We had fans to plug in but it would be nice if they could all have ceiling fans.

Great Stay!

I cannot say enough about how fabulous the Hamilton's are! They helped us book a last minute vacation for my family of five and my father (from FL). We wanted a last minute getaway to celebrate my birthday and they worked with us, went above and beyond to make my day special!! The house was very well stocked with any kitchen item you would need, my boys (2, 4, and 6) went to the ocean everyday (brrrr) to come back and rinse off (and warm up) in the outdoor shower. Great location and the trail to the beach was wonderful. The house was very clean and provided items you may have forgotten to bring! Great stay and even better memories, thank you for everything!

Awesome beach house!

My family goes to the Outer Banks every year, and every year we pick a different beach house, mostly because we like to try new things and new areas, but this beach house was so great that we definitely plan to return. It has a front deck and a back deck, giving you a place to relax regardless of where the sun is positioned. The beach is just a short walk away...very manageable for small children and seniors. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The house is an open layout, beautifully furnished, and very clean. If you're looking for a 4 BR beach house, look no further. You will not be disappointed.

Happy Relaxed (now) Family

Mike and I and our daughter and five children had the time of our lives. We enjoyed the beach, of course; but the house was perfect, clean and comfortable with a well supplied and attractive kitchen, comfortable beds in a very relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor shower was a busy place after the beach. The two decks were very comfortable, especially with the constant breeze. The kids enjoyed having their own TVs. We all loved the games we found in the cupboard and your hospitality was much appreciated. As the saying goes........"We shall return!"

Great Stay, Awful post-rent experience

This home is a really great place to stay, especially if you are coming with two families. The layout is two bedrooms and a bathroom on either side. And it is well stocked, especially for families with kids. There is a view of the ocean, but an obstructed one. We really had a great time here. While booking, the owner was responsive and seemed to answer all our questions adequately. However, our real problems came with check out and the security deposit. There was no rental agreement to sign, and no clear-cut instructions with regard to check out. The two things that were clearly stated were that we were to leave the keys in the house and lock the front door, replacing the lockbox key where it belonged. Also, to bring the trash to the curb. Other than this, there was a vague request to, “leave the place the way we found it”, but nothing more specific. Despite the unclear checkout instructions, we didn't want to leave the place a total mess, so did all the dishes, put them away except for the final load in the dishwasher, washed the kitchen linens, wiped down counters, swept the floors, and vacuumed any major messes. We even deep cleaned a coffee maker that clearly needed it. Then, we left the keys as instructed, locked the doors, and brought the garbage to the curb before leaving. Two weeks later, I still had not received my deposit nor had the owners contacted me beyond a message saying they hoped I'd enjoyed the stay and please book again. I emailed asking what was going on, and received a message with a list of things they felt we had not done during checkout as we had not left the place EXACTLY as we left it. End result: they kept half our deposit. They didn't even respond when I emailed a response to their list. Bottom line: these owners expect you to make the place perfect, and ready for the next guest. Despite a cleaning fee built into the rent, you need to be prepared to do all the scrubbing if you want your damage deposit returned. Also, take very good pictures of everything as you arrive and when you are leaving. I did not, and regret it. I would also ask for a detailed check out sheet BEFORE handing over any money. Also, stay on top of the deposit as they left it to me to contact them about it. Knowing all of this now, I would absolutely not stay there again, nor would I have booked it if they had been clear about how picky they would be about the house.

First OBX experience for everyone

Our stay was one week long over labor day. We had ample space for the four of us, and the kitchen was well-stocked. wand loved sitting out on the back deck in the evening after beaching it from sunrise to late morning, and then site seeing and going back to the beach and shelling or over to sound to see the sunset. There are many interesting places to eat, shop, and amuse yourself. We went to Alligator river tours and saw an alligator with our kayak guide, Courtney. We recommend this activity highly as you will learn a lot and have a great time in the process. Bring bug repellant!!! YOU WILL need it!! A large hat and sunscreen are also recommended. The wright brothers memorial was fun, as were all the lighthouses in the area and the working farm on the island. Also loved seeing the largest dunes on the east coast. Pretty incredible!!! Hurricane Mos makes some great eats as well as Longboards (they have some great paintings by a local artist on the walls , all beach themed and for sale if you like!) There was a little place called Arts Place that served an amazing breakfast and you could even eat outside! on one of the many decks. Service was great at all of these places! Black Pelican was also good, but I liked my sons Mahi Mahi better than my prime rib. Our accommodations were adequate and quite comfortable and homey. The AC could get pretty cold, so you might need an extra blanket from the closet. The one shower in the bathroom I used was rather small, so I'd recommend smaller people use this bathroom The one on the other side of the house had a tub, and was normal sized and I used it when our friends left a day early. Lots of space and plenty of things to use at the beach, from chairs to toys, to boogie boards. I left a few more sand toys behind as I found them when I cleaned up the beach one day. The two swings and one hammock provided nice spots to relax and it was really lovely to relax and listen to the waves crashing. The beach was close and only a short walk through the neighboring home's yard and across the dunes. We didn't find many shells but my friend found a few sand dollars. That was a nice surprise! Take a walk to the local gas station and you will find lots of goodies you don't really need at great prices! LOL Btw, the coffee doesn't suck either! Another plus. Our host, Jim was accommodating and we took him up on a few of these suggestions! WE WILL return !!!

Heavenly Home

The house was cozy and comfortable and had literally everything you could ask for in the kitchen, fans in the bedrooms, great TV reception with lots of DVDs, books, games etc. The owners were exceptionally nice and answered all our questions immediately. The walk to the beach was a bit long and you had to cross the beach road; however, there is beach access within 1/4 mile where you can park. The neighbors were all nice and friendly except for the one on the southern side of us, but we didn't see him often. I would go back again the same time of year. the weather was perfect. We recommend this property if you don't mind not being directly on the oceanfront.

We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for our family - 2 boys, 6 and 8 - with their parents, my daughter, and us. Short walk to the beach, plenty of space for all, including great outdoor space!

Uncrowded beaches. Porch swing on fully covered front deck as well as a hammock under the house for relaxing. Close to beach/ocean view/quiet neighborhood. Enclosed garage to keep your vehicle out of sun and salt air. You're almost there, once you get over the Wright Memorial Bridge - unlike other OBX locations that will take you another hour plus.
