¡Cada pie cuadrado fue usado en el diseño de Ocean House! Este espacioso condominio de 3 dormitorios / 3 baños se ubica en la esquina este del sexto piso, que ofrece un balcón norte y sur. El Northern Balcony domina la laguna Little mientras que el Southern Balcony domina el Golfo de México.

La sala de estar ofrece dos sofás de tamaño completo, uno de los cuales es un sofá cama y un televisor de pantalla plana con DVD y sistema estéreo. La cocina Galley adyacente está completamente equipada con utensilios de cocina, utensilios y platos. El comedor tiene una mesa con asientos para 6 personas y dos taburetes en la barra de la cocina.

El dormitorio principal está ubicado en el lado norte de la unidad y cuenta con camas King, baño, vestidor y balcón privado. El dormitorio principal también ofrece una televisión y un baño privado de tamaño completo.

Las dos habitaciones de huéspedes ofrecen camas Queen con baño privado. Ambas habitaciones tienen un televisor. El dormitorio sur tiene un combo de bañera / ducha y acceso al balcón. El dormitorio del medio tiene una ducha de pie.

Ocean House II was very well maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities but the condo is in need of updates. The sofa is terribly old and uncomfortable. The toilets need replaced and the unit needs painted as well. Also, the owner may not know but the Keurig coffee maker does not work. The size and layout of condo was nice just needs some updates.

Spring Break 2023

We had a great time, and our unit at Ocean House had everything we needed. It was spacious and well decorated. Beach access was right in our front yard and was clean and not over crowded like some of the beach we saw. Everything was great! Thank you!

Great condo!! We love Ocean House

The beach was beautiful and the water was so clear. The clothes dryer took a while for heavy loads, so just prepare small loads. Otherwise, perfect 👍🏻

Vacation 2022

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was awesome. The location was awesome. My only suggestions is that you invest in new beds. The beds were not very comfortable and they all creaked with every turn. Some maintenance ideas are the toilets in the two queen rooms are very wobbly. Overall I would rent it again. Thank you.

Ocean House

Loved the location and it was a short walk to the beach. We also liked that the guards made sure that your vehicle belonged there. However, it wasn’t cleaned very well before we checked in. There was hair left in the master bathroom drain and we found a contact lens on the bathroom floor. None of us wears them. And the beds were not comfortable at all. Overall we enjoyed our first trip to Gulf Shores.

Ocean House II 2601

Our condo was great. Lots of room. Plenty of seating. My only issue is that the toilets need to be replaced to a taller height. They were so low to the ground they were hard to get off of for all of us, someone with knee problems wouldn't be able to use them. Overall, the Ocean House is a great condo, good location.

Family Vacation. June 2023

We had a total of 6 adults in Ocean House 2601. We all give an overall 5 stars. The condo was just right and had enough indoor seating for everyone. The elevator ran quickly and there was rarely a wait. A couple of things to note that could be a quick fix are: 1. Purchase 2 new skillets and throw away the current ones. They have seen better days. 2. Invest in new mattresses for the king size and the queen room next to it. These also have seen better days; 3. purchase one more outdoor chair so 6 people are able to sit on the balcony. I in no way want to be too critical because we really loved staying in this unit. These fixes would definitely enhance the property and create loyal repeat visitors. This is why I still rate an overall 5!! Thank you!!!

Disappointing outdated digs!

We have left the condo a day early! The place was filthy! Luna Beach Property Mgmt sent someone over to clean, but this place needs a major cleaning and upgrade. Beds and couch were uncomfortable, curtains were old, layer of dust on everything and the shower head in front bathroom had to be held all the time. That’s if you dared to shower there with the mold above the tub. There was one dish towel, one hand towel and only a few wash cloths for each bathroom. We had to wash towels every few days. Even after folks came and cleaned, I went to wipe up some thing off the floor, and it turned the washcloth brown. There was an old, crusty rusted table on the back deck and no chairs. Only 4 chairs on the front deck for a condo of at least 6 people. There wasn’t a decent frying pan among six that were there or utensils that didn’t have rust on them. New appliances, but the cabinetry was so old, one of the doors had Velcro on it to keep it closed. The only thing we put underneath the main sink was the bag of garbage bags we bought because it was so disgusting under there. The pool deck chairs were filthy, the pool needed to be cleaned, and the common areas (elevator waiting, walkways) were also dirty! We stayed 2 weeks and had to pay $30 for a parking pass each week!

Great time...could've been perfect.

We had a great time. The condo was clean and could not be in a better location. The condo had plenty of room for my family of five, and everyone had their own space. The pool was great and we really enjoyed the pool and the beach. The walkway tp the beach was great with a new foot shower. Specific to the condo there are a few things to mention. The condo was very clean, with new appliances and a few extras that were wonderful. There is a set of wooden TV trays which were very helpful-interesting enough, for small work stations as my kids were doing remote school. A few things to make note of before renting this unit: * There was a really nice foyer that allowed us to leave sandy shoes and not track so much through the condo ***It would be really nice and useful to have some type of entry matt in the condo to help trap sand. * The washer/dryer worked GREAT. We ran it everyday! *** It would be VERY beneficial to have some type of drying rack in the condo for laundry and just to dry swim suits. *****The one thing that kept me/us from fulling enjoying our vacation were the bed/mattresses! The mattresses are in desperate need of being replaced. I slept in a different bed almost every night trying to get comfortable. I ended up sleeping in the recliner most nights. My kids, who can sleep almost anywhere, also struggled. Everything else could be perfect but when you can't sleep it's all for not. I strongly recommend that the owners replace the mattresses. They are so hard they sound almost like cardboard when you sit/lay on them. The ocean front bedroom has a double thick mattress topper so it was the best, the middle bedroom has a thin topper so it was slightly better than the master bedroom that had no topper and was very uncomfortable. It's really too bad because the unit is wonderful in every other way. I would not stay here again simply because I couldn't get a decent night's sleep. I know mattress comfort can be different for everyone but these were beyond that. I had read this in previous reviews but didn't really worry about it. This simple fix would make this unit perfect. We love Gulf Shores and if they replaced the mattresses we would stay here again.

We got to the unit there were machines & fan blowing all over wires running all across the floor now take in mind we had small kids with us an hazard risk they never informed us about this we just walked in on it, Only was told pool was closed due to storm why wasn't we informed this to where we could have decided if we still want to stay there??? I contacted the office was told they had to stay running tell the next day due to the storm water had got in unit now we was told the pool wasnt gone be open due to storm but was never told anything about this unit had all these machines running in there. The unit was dirty i had to call for housekeeping to come clean up in there we found some one underwear under blankets were very unhappy about this stay i have reached out waiting on call we have Pictures i wish i could upload so nasty i wouldnt recommend anyone to stay in this unit it smell mildew & the linen on bed wasnt clean we didn't even want to stay there but had already paid & couldnt find anywhere else they also wasnt gone give an refund. SO SAD!

Ashley, We informed you of the pool closure well in advance of your stay in this great property. The tropical storm that swept through our area just before your stay caused sand to wash into the pool forcing the closure. This is a situation completely out of our control as stated in your Rental Confirmation that you signed at the time of booking. We were unaware of the dehumidifiers being in the unit as you were the one that informed us they were there. In a condo complex, the association has to make tough decisions after storms and they do not always have time to alert all parties. Once you notified us, we did our best to get you as much info as could be provided. Upon arrival, you only reported 1 bathroom having cleaning issues and as it turned out, it was from the workers emptying the dehumidifier that caused the dirt to be in the tub and on the floor. Housekeeping came and took care of the issue and was instructed to assist with any other issues or complaints you had. You did not ask her to, but she mopped your kitchen due to something being spilled while she was there by one of the children in your group. We hate that you feel you did not get the unit you paid for, however we never heard from you again regarding any other issues during your weekend stay. We did hear from VRBO once you departed and they asked if you were entitled to a refund since the pool was closed during your stay. We let them know that we cannot control pool closures and that we had informed you prior to your arrival and that we had also explained no refunds would be paid for this issue. We hate that you feel your stay only earned a 1 star review but to be fair, we cannot control the pool closure but did everything else you asked of us to make your stay more enjoyable. Great Location

The place was awesome. It was very roomy and very clean. Had everything that you would need without having to bring the kitchen sink with ya. Right on the beach and close to any shopping shops that you would need.

Great location, but needs some improvement

Pros: Location was perfect - close enough to main activities; easy beach access; great family atmosphere. Condo was in decent shape. Beautiful view. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes. Cons: Master bedroom is not on beach side, and the king bed is VERY uncomfortable and creaks at every small movement. We had to layer blankets on top of that hard mattress to be able to lay on it. Lots of black mold in the shower handles, and peeling paint on shower ceiling. It takes two rounds in the dryer for anything to dry. Overall, it was priced well enough that the pros outweighed the cons and I’d still stay there again. We had a great family vacation.

Bobbie, Thank you for the great review despite the issues you experienced during your stay. The master bedroom is located on the north side of the unit but the pictures are captioned on the listing explaining that in great detail of each photo. We try very hard to have our photographs depict exactly what the unit is and not be deceptive or using trick photography. We are so sorry that you found the mattress to be uncomfortable. That is one thing that we cannot seem to find common ground about. Everyone has a different preference as far as the firmness or the softness so we hate that you had to add blankets for comfort. The dryer has been addressed as the main line from the vent had a blockage that was easily remedied after your stay. Had we known you were having issues with it during your stay, we could've had this handled while you were here, but it is drying great now. We are waiting for the association to handle the ceiling issues in the bathroom as this is damage done during Hurricane Sally due to water intrusion between each floor of the building. With insurance claims and the lack of workers, the minor items are taking longer to get completed. We do hope you will return and be our guest again soon. Could be better

We loved the beach and had plenty of room but not worth it for the price. Our condo flooded from the walls(not just the balcony doors) for two days and the dishwasher leaked and they never brought the extra towels promised. Maintenance was also supposed to come and never did. We spoke to management company twice and they denied speaking to us at first and still didn’t fix anything. Beds were rock hard and need updated. The shower in the master sprayed all over while water is running. We had a good time because of the beach and location but was not worth the price.

Catherine, We are saddened to know that you did not enjoy your stay and hate the issues you had while occupying this property. We have no excuses for the way things were handled. I can only say that once all of these items were brought to our attention, your stay was over but we did handle the issues with our staff. Your promised towels were delivered to another unit by mistake so for that we apologize. Again, by the time we knew, your stay was over. Busy summers are difficult to say the least and we hate that your stay fell into the mix of us being under staffed and overwhelmed. May 2017 Stay

We had an AWESOME time in 2601! The view could not be beat with two balconies and plenty of space inside. Check in and other logistics were easy; can't complain!

The condo was spacious and had great views. We loved the two balconies and the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom ; however, the king size bed was noisy and very lumpy and uncomfortable. The sleeper sofa in that room was horrible to try to sleep on and the toilet in that room ran non stop. The lock did not work easily and you had to jiggle it just right to lock or unlock. Also the dishwasher would not lock so we were unable to use it. We would stay at Ocean House again as we loved the beach, pool and location. We would not choose this unit again unless updates were made.

I love the checkin and checkout process. View with a balcony on each side was so nice. Room 2601 however was not comfortable at all!!!! ALL beds were so uncomfortable. They were like you were sleeping on lumpy springs. We had a pillow case with blood on it, dishwasher is not bolted in, I opened the door and it fell open and hit my leg hard, toilet in middle bath ran all the time you had to continuously go shake the handle, ocean side sliding glass door would not latch, the ALL DISHES were DIRTY you had to wash them before using, cabinets were really nasty, sofas were very uncomfortable, the floor were sandy and need mopped, there was so much dust all over the furniture. The room was very nice and and the view was gorgeous, the pool was awesome for my three little grand babies and easy access to nearby shopping and food. I would never stay in this room again and the owner should be very ashamed of the condition of this unit because we pay. I think we need our cleaning fee returned because I had to clean 1st

The pictures do not do this unit justice. It has granite counter tops in kitchen and all baths. We had no problem with any of the appliances. It also has new patio furniture. The pool is awesome and well kept as well as the rest of the property.

Hit and Miss

The Ocean House is a very well taken care of property. However, this unit at hand could use a few updates for the cost. The oven did not work- you either burnt the food or it never cooked. Had a lasagna in for 5 HOURS and it didn't even melt the cheese!!! The mattresses in both larger rooms need replaced. The master bedroom could also use some better curtains, not sure my husband or I slept past 6:30 one day. The security was a great feature for the property but one woman treated guests VERY poorly. It was spoke among passing conversations between several of us staying last week how rude the security had been to the guests; especially regarding the pool and pool area. After watching some of it first hand on top of the room downfalls, I would choose another condo in the area for the price until some changes are made.

Family Beach Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. The agent, Chris, was extremely helpful. The pictures of the condo were accurate. It was very clean as well as the amenities. We would love to come back in the future. The only problem we had was on our last night we found a puddle of water right by the air conditioner, we called maintenance and within half an hour someone was there to look at it. They discovered one of the bathtubs/showers was leaking through the air conditioner vent. A Security guard is always there so we felt comfortable allowing our grandkids to go to the pool by themselves.

Beautiful Oceanfront 3-bedroom Condo

I absolutely loved staying at this condo. This was my first trip to Gulf Shores and I'm so glad we came. There are three bedrooms with three bathrooms and plenty of room in each. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for a week's stay plus a pantry. The master bedroom is large with a huge walk in closet (you may need to bring some of your own hangers), a large vanity area, and a separate bathroom with tub/shower. There is a small porch off of the master bedroom that looks over the bay. The unit was clean and well-maintained with plenty of bath towels/washcloths. There is a washer/dryer in the unit that is very handy. The deck off of the living room/third bedroom is ocean front and great for viewing the beach. The pool below is great and also has two kiddy pools. The location of this condo is my favorite. You are on the main strip but very close to many shops and restaurants. Across the street (within close walking distance) is a corner market that literally has everything you would need (groceries, sunscreen, toys, etc.). You are one mile from the main public beach area with fun things to do like parasailing, jet-skiing, dining at the Pink Pony Pub or The Hangout, surf stores, etc. You are located about 10-13 miles from the Tanger Outlets too!! I have two teenage daughters and an 11-year old son. We ate at Lulu's (fun atmosphere for all ages) and The Oyster House (also a great place). Doc's seafood was delicious also. The Hangout was a great place for all ages with live music. You can also rent chair loungers with an umbrella in front of the condo for $25 a day (less if you rent for the whole week). This really is a great condo in a great location. I'll definitely be booking this unit for my family again.
