Clean and simple decorations. Plenty of room for us and in a nice area. Could use more towels and kitchen items. Also laundry soap would be beneficial. Overall wonderful place for the price.

Our stay happened in two stages: 1. There was a mix up with us and another guest scheduled to stay at John’s property. John was quick to assist us with a nearby hotel stay, though I would not recommend that anyone stay at the nearby Quality Inn and that John not use this as his back up in the future. At the Quality Inn John booked for us, there were bad stains on everything made of fabric in the room.2. John’s property was clean and a good resting place for us during our visit to Aiken/Augusta. We may stay here again in the future as we assume that the booking mixup was a one off situation. I would recommend his property to anyone visiting the area.

Also, thank you for the Quality Inn advice, my intention was getting you close to stores and restaurants in the area and I had higher expectations from their website. You’re welcome to return. The code for the front door worked well, The counters and refrigerator were clean as was the shower and the sink. (We only used the master bath.) Bathroom towels, however, were stained and the AC filter was absolutely filthy, as were the corners on the outside of the shower. There were no extra pillows, no dressers for clothing, and nowhere to place suitcases. The master bed headboard wasn’t even attached to the bed. There were stains on the carpet in the master bedroom, and there wasn’t even a tv. There was no television service in the living room, just the capability to stream your own services. Luckily, we were very busy while staying there and at John’s VRBO. Communication with John wasn’t the best. The place kinda worked for what we needed, but was definitely not a place we would rent again considering the pictures posted with this review.

Thanks for the feed back and I’ll address the towels and ceiling return vent w/ the cleaning crew. However the outside corner of the guest shower is a repair that requires vacancy, but it will also be addressed. Moving furniture to take photos of carpet spots is an interesting approach. Sorry you didn’t enjoy your experience and thanks again.
