Perfect spot

Very nice spot for a couple to stay. Fully equipped and thoughtfully laid out. Comfortable bed. Updated in all ways. Exceptionally clean and well stocked. Very convenient to downtown and extremely walkable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Greenport. The property was clean and had all the amenities needed. We could walk everywhere in town in just a couple of minutes. The lodiongs were emall but cozy......... Can't wait to go back!

Very nice apartment with all the amenities. The property owner is available and very helpful with local businesses and attractions. Highly recommend this property! A very nice surprise awaits each new guest in the fridge too!

My husband and I had a great stay at this perfect location! The apartment is clean and confortable, the charming street was a pleasure to walk and so easy to get to all in town! John greeted us and gave great suggestions. We felt very welcome and will be back again.

Hidden charmer steps away from Main Street in Greenport

This is our fourth stay here! Wonderful efficient mini one bedroom With full kitchen and nice large bathroom. The apartment is in excellent shape and super super clean.Plus the host lives on site and is wonderful. Best part is how easy it is to walk straight into the heart of Greenport from the house, Just two blocks away.And he has 2 units here, so you can travel with friends, and both get your own unit in the same house.Highly recommend!

Nice apartment in great location

This apartment is upstairs in a home. It's a great location to walk into downtown Greenport, and John (who we met during our stay) has everything there for the comfort of 2 people. We even got to use his bikes to get around! The only negative is that the air conditioning doesn't do a great job in the bedroom. Other than that we would recommend this place for a couple.

Leave the BR door open, as the system is located in the Living area. The apt is a studio but with a BR door.

John's place was perfect for 2 people. It was right in downtown Greenport.

The property was clean and John was an excellent host. The apt. was equipped with everything you need. John gave us a run down of all the local restaurants and was available for any questions. He lives right down the street and can be available pretty quickly. I would suggest 2 things to make the property outstanding; put a love seat in the Living area so 2 people can sit together. The other thing, probably for me since I'm a news junky, is to get local channels on the TV We would definitely stay here again. Thanks

Message received! Love seat is in. But, as far as News goes: you can get all the depressing news 24 /7 on your phone. There is absolutely NOTHING you can do about what the talking heads tell you except get upset. That's not why you are here. Turn it OFF, contemplate the sunset, and think positively! John

Convenient locatuon

Size and layout of unit very nice. John was very accommodating. Comfort level not what it could be. Only one comfortable chair in living area, second chair for looks only, otherwise seating limited to counter stool. Only 2 pillows provided and my husband and I sleep with 2 each due to back issues, bed uncomfortable, pots and pans old, bedroom very warm even with A/C turned on in living room so I can't imagine what it would be like in August. Bath towels old and stained. I know most people are out and about all day so these points may not bother them. We were in town for 3 days for a funeral, not there site seeing, so spent time in the unit.

Too bad they didn't ask for more pillows! "Back issues" probably the problem as the VERY expensive bed I bought just 8 months is loved by all who have visited. I replaced the frying pan, and will examine towels and wash cloths and replace as necessary. I am changing the seating, as it is a problem. I will put in a love seat and chair. But the space is TINY and if you are hanging out there for 3 days rather than enjoying all that Greenport and vicinity has to offer, you might get a little grumpy. I call it a studio though it's actually a one BR, because it is small, about 400 sq ft.; New Yorkers think it's great, folks from big houses, not so much. The heat pump/AC is also new last year and never have I had any heat/AC complaints, ever. John

I found the property to be exceptional. The apartment is spotless! The location is a block from restaurants, shopping, sightseeing. I felt VERY safe walking. John, who lives at the property, was a superior host being very responsive to every question I had before and during my trip. He's a friendly guy too. The unit has everything to cook in or you can walk to tons of restaurants. We liked Noahs for a retirement party. We bought groceries at the market just of couple of blocks away. And, that worked out great. The house is very old but it is remodeled very nicely. The private entrance to the unit is toward the back of the house and you have to walk up a flight of stairs but that was not a problem. I hardly heard any noise. The street is very private. Wi-Fi worked great. Air conditioning also worked great. We had a difficult time finding an Uber. I would not hesitate to stay at this property in the future, as a matter of fact, it would be the first one I would request to rent. My first time using Evolve and it was perfect.

Just the two of us

This apartment is the perfect size for 2 people. The bed is very comfortable, the towels fluffy, and the kitchen well equipped. It’s an easy walk downtown and John’s restaurant recommendations were extremely helpful. The only issue we had was with the smart TV which did not want to interact with our Apple phones or IPads. I think Android users will be ok with it.
