Great location with comfortable beds and full kitchen. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance so didn’t need to use the car for our entire stay!

girls trip to hike and soak

This was the perfect place for us to say for a girls get away. We were able to walk to downtown to eat and to a cute bakery. It had everything we needed and more. we hiked hanging lake one day and iron mountain hot springs another. We would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Made for an easy walk to the Hot Springs, the train station and downtown. And it provided plenty of space for my wife and myself and two wild ten-year-olds. (They particularly enjoyed the bunk bed!)

Surprised

Food left in the fridge and freezer. No place for my grandchildren to play yard was overgrown with weeds and trees. Not to mention the dead mouse on the porch which my husband swept into the. The air conditioner in the window did not work it would cycle for 13 seconds then turn off. So don’t advertise that it has AC. It does not get to the bedrooms because it’s in the living room. The location to activities was spot on. I also called the host after we left to let her know that we had left something. I did not get a callback from her so we went and went and went back to the place. Got my pillow and went home. She never did respond to me at all.

Terrible and Filthy

This place is like a pig with lipstick. Bare minimum of everything. Cute and quaint like the pictures suggest, NOT.When pulling up, you see overgrowth of weeds, cobwebs, questionable stairs and regret. Most of the paint on the front door is gone and you see a 1/2” gap because the door doesn’t even fit in the jam. Going in, the place smelled like cat and bugs living and dead all over the windows. They advertise this place sleeps 5 with a sofa sleeper. Bonus for us, as we were traveling with our grandchildren who don’t share a room. Pulling out the sofa sleeper, it was filthy. It had obviously not been cleaned in several uses, Dirt and food along with cobwebs underneath. We found the sheets in a hamper, no idea if they were clean or not. There were spills on the floor and the stovetop that were not cleaned up either. The pots and pans provided were very old with who knows what was on them. We decided NOT to stay here. When communicating with the hosts, it took 3 hours for them to get back with us. They stated they went to the home to confirm their housekeepers had done their job. Instead of offering us any options, they told us the place was clean and questioned our concerns. We requested our money back and they stopped all communication. We travel a lot and have never experienced anything like this. I would never recommend this place unless they clean and upgrade everything.
