Prime location

We enjoyed our time in Graeagle. The hosts were communicative and helpful in navigating a hiccup that occurred during our stay. Fantastic location, we were able to walk downtown to grab coffee / breakfast / drinks with ease (about 12 min walk through the neighborhood). Really enjoyed the local festivities and small town atmosphere.

Wonderful Base in Sierras

We really enjoyed our stay in Greagle. Such spectacular scenery and nature. Out hosts Bill and Shawn were extremely responsive to our every need. They even brought beach towels and off bug spray to us when We shared we had forgotten ours !!. The house is newly remodeled, very clean and the location couldn't be better.

Kitchen needs pans and a microwave. Shower in bedroom/bath does not get hot water. Uneven deck in entry is an ankle-breaker - as is the dropped bottom step of entry stairs. Nice kitchen-diner-front room space.

This property was exactly what we were looking for- peaceful get away in the forest. We spent much of our time sitting on the back patio or front patio watching the breeze in the pines or the deer wondering through. Inside was clean and organized. Great communication with hosts. Wouldn’t have minded a few more baking sheets and kitchen utensils, but we got by with everything provided.

Graeagle vacation

What a great house! Well maintained. The interior is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you need or want. It’s spacious with modern appliances and really cool stuff to make your stay comfortable and satisfying. Our host anticipated an unusual cold snap and notified us they had added extra firewood for our stay. (Nice touch). We will definitely stay again! Thank you Shaun and Bill.

Steps leading to front door were a little difficult to navigate as the first step was higher than the rest of them. On the way down that step, it was a possible tripping hazard. At the top of the steps there is a slight rise from the landing to the deck running in front causing another tripping hazard. Rooms were warm as the coolness from the outside did not get into the house until early in the morning. The main bathroom toilet was backed up I believe when we arrived, and we needed to us the plunger whenever we flushed solids down that toilet, I believe this was due to the low flow flush. Overall cleanliness was very nice. Kitchen was stocked with appropriate cooking equipment and necessary items although there was not a microwave. Nice coffee maker. Beds were comfortable, but no bed light and the light for the room was several feet from the bed which meant we had to navigate to the bed from the door in the dark. A bedside light would help this situation. Overall, our stay was nice, and we had a quick response when we called regarding the plugged toilet. Neighborhood was very quiet.
