The Blue Chateau – Charming French Country Retreat
The Blue Chateau is a charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom French country-style retreat—perfect for a getaway with family or friends in New Braunfels. Conveniently located near downtown, Landa Park, Schlitterbahn, and the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers, this cozy home provides easy access to the area's top attractions.
MAIN SPACE/KITCHEN:
The living room features a cozy electric fireplace, a 65" Smart TV, and a comfortable sectional sofa—perfect for relaxing and hanging out. The kitchen is fully stocked with small appliances, utensils, pots, pans, cookware, dishes and a variety of spices, so you have everything you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay.
PET FRIENDLY:
The Blue Chateau is pet-friendly (maximum of 2 dogs) with a $150 non-refundable pet fee. We provide a fenced area where your furry friends can play and run freely, as well as dog bowls for food and water. Please note - that if pets are brought without prior disclosure on the reservation, the pet fee will be deducted from the security deposit.
BEDROOMS:
Each room has its own Smart TV and a dresser, allowing you to unpack and feel at home. The master bedroom features a king bed with blackout curtains, the second bedroom offers two queen-size beds and blackout curtains, and the third bedroom has a twin daybed with a twin trundle and a desk if you need a place to work. Extra fans and a pack and play provided.
BATHROOMS:
The house features two full bathrooms, each equipped with a shower/tub, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, washcloths, and other essentials for your convenience. Most importantly, both bathrooms have a bidet. No dirty butts in The Blue Chateau!
OUTDOOR SPACE:
The outdoor space is nearly as spacious as the indoors, featuring a covered patio with a hot tub, a cozy conversational sofa, string lights, ceiling fan and Bluetooth speakers to play your favorite tunes. You'll also find (6) Adirondack chairs surrounding a fire pit, perfect for relaxing under the stars. Feeling competitive? Start your own cornhole tournament!

-Golf Cart Rental - We recommend Howdy Carts in New Braunfels.
-PaddleTX - Book your paddleboarding, kayaking or float trip with our friends at Paddle Texas! They'll pick you up right from the house and drop you off when you're done - so you can focus on the fun, not the logistics.
-Rockin R (Gruene) - Get right in the water on this private property. Float for 2-3 hours and then their bus will bring back to your car.

We’re a fun-loving, travel-hungry couple who first visited the New Braunfels/Gruene area last year—and instantly fell in love with its charm, natural beauty, and vibrant local scene. After that trip, we knew we wanted to plant some roots here—not just for ourselves and our family, but to share with others who appreciate space, comfort, and the option to cook a meal or two during their stay.
As a blended family with six kids between us, we’re now enjoying life as empty nesters. We’ve been blessed with 13 amazing grandbabies (and counting!), and we love spending time with them, making memories, and sharing new adventures together.
Hosting is a joy for us—it's our way of welcoming others to experience this special place while enjoying all the comforts of home. Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or a longer retreat, we’re thrilled to have you as our guest.
