Enjoy a peaceful stay at this lovely 2-bedroom house in Portsmouth. Walk to the beach on the public access adjacent to the property. A short safe walk to Flos Clam shack and ice cream.Enjoy the regentrification of Island Park and retreat back to the peaceful cottage with plenty of parking.This cottage features 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and 1 twin trundle bed; perfect for a small group of guests. With amenities like WiFi, Roku TV in every room,heating-cooling and a washing machine, your stay will be superb. The newly installed deck will have a gas grill,chairs with a direct waterview. The bathroom includes a shower and a hair dryer for your convenience and all other amenities like towels and shampoo/conditioner. Happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our house.

We enjoyed our stay at the Anchor House very much. The location was great and the home exceeded our expectations in many ways. The furnishings and decor were indeed charming and comfortable. Conni was a responsive and helpful host. It was just a short trip to Newport where we explored the shoreline via the Cliff Walk. We also visited the Portsmouth Historical Society museum, Founders Brook Park, and historic homes and cemeteries where my Hall ancestors experienced colonial life in the 1600’s. It was neat to see my 9th great grandfather, William Hall’s name on the Portsmouth Compact plaque nearby, too.

Connie and her house were amazing! Property was as described if not better. The location was ideal for us to visit my nephew at Roger Williams University. Connie’s communication was on point and the price was quite fair. This part of Rhode Island(Bristol/Portsmouth/Newport) is idyllic, like something out of a movie. We had a marvelous, long weekend, thanks Connie!

Cute and comfy beach house with a wonderful bed and full kitchen and washer/dryer. Close to everything and a half hour from Providence. What’s not to like?

Rented this cute house for LDW. Was about a 25 minute drive into Newport where there was a ton to do. Had all we needed to crash at night and make breakfast/lunch. Nice supermarket and Dunkin close by. House has a lot of little things that arent usually provided- dish detergent, paper towels, laundry and dish detergent.

Cottage get away

Great house! Easy driving to Newport or Tiverton little Compton area!Also, great restaurants in the area and a walkable beach close by! House was clean and comfortable and beds were very comfortable!

A Magical place with everything you need

We stayed here for a work event in Newport and it was a fabulous location. The house has everything we needed and more. It was a short walk to the beach and a quick and easy drive into Newport. The beds were SO comfy. We both slept like babies, even with the jet lag.Thank you for having us and we will certainly stay here again!

Charming Beach House in Portsmouth

This charming two bedroom home in Portsmouth was the perfect getaway for my friends and I. Newly renovated with an amazing view of the water. The house was cozy, cute, and clean. The homeowners provided us with everything that we would need for our stay. Communication with the homeowner was excellent and constantly updated us about the home. If I come back to Portsmouth, I would love to stay here again!
