Great location, great stay!

Ideal location in Boone. Circular driveway, master on main. Well-supplied with comfy beds and a great fire pit. Would stay again.

Wonderful House

This is a clean property with a wonderful back yard space and fire pit. Great location to bounce back and forth between Boone and Blowing Rock. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again!

Great house in Boone

This was the perfect house for our family visit to Boone. Close to town, well appointed and EVERYTHING we needed for a very comfortable stay. The private backyard with the fire pit was a wonderful gathering place. The house is very warm and inviting with plenty of space to have us all together. We will be back!

Wonderful stay in a very well-equipped house

Our group of 3 adults and 2 children had a wonderful 5-night stay in the Harb's lovely home. The house was very well-equipped for our stay in Boone: the beds were comfortable, the internet and TVs worked well, and there were more than enough essential items for us to use such as paper towels, etc. We especially loved sitting on the back patio. Thank you for the great stay!

Clean, cozy and comfortable home

House was very clean and cozy. Master bed on first floor was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Loved the living room fireplace. Owners were very helpful with recommendations for things to do and restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend this house to others. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place!

The house was great. Cozy, very clean and nicely decorated for the Holiday! My family enjoyed playing the board games and sitting by the fireplace. The pictures don’t do the house justice. Great outdoor fire pit for summer nights. We would definitely be lucky to stay again.

Peaceful and cozy!

This place is a gem! It has everything you need and more! I felt so at home here, I didn’t want to leave. Communication with the owners is top notch. The comfy beds, the stocked kitchen, and the backyard…I could go on and on. One of the best places I’ve stayed at.😌

Perfect Family Home

We came to Boone for a family reunion and hosted several gatherings including. The Kids loved the fire pit and smores and we were able to grill out and when the rain came, we ordered pizza and played inside. The road was steep but after the first time up the driveway, we figured it out. Great access to Boone. Our summer trip couldn't have been better.

Perfect house for a weekend in Boone

The photos don't give credit to the house. It is much nicer that the pictures made me believe. We had a wonderful stay, 10 minutes from every thing and in the middle of the woods. A deer came in the morning right by the breakfast area. The grand kids loved it. And they enjoyed the wooden backyard while we had a glass a wine. Perfect!

Great house! Very impressed!

What a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Boone/Blowing Rock area with my family of six! It was super close to everything, but was also very private. The owners were extremely responsive. The grill propane tank was empty when we got there and they reimbursed us both for the necessary new tank as well as the beer we picked up at the same time! Rooms were very spacious - the master had plenty of room for the king bed and the Pack N Play we brought for our toddler - and there was tons of storage (I wish my house had such big closets). Kitchen was fully stocked, including both a crockpot and a waffle maker! Would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Boone or Blowing Rock area!!

App State Move-In Week!!

The perfect place to stay for our daughter’s move-in week at App State!! My 85 year old mother came along, and the first floor master suite was ideal, as she is unable to take the stairs. Everyone had their own space, the rooms were beautifully decorated, and we truly felt at home. It’s was especially nice to have the full kitchen and living room where we could prepare dinner and enjoy some downtime after a long day on campus. The house is in located in a safe area, 5-10 minutes from all of the activities Boone has to offer. Appalachian State University is a short 10 minute drive away, as well. We loved everything about our stay and would recommend this rental to others!!

Look no further! This home is Fantastic!

The description does not do this home justice!!!! The location is great - close to town but we felt like no one was around. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. Kitchen is well supplied. Plenty of closet space / storage for clothes. The beds were very comfortable and the furnishings were cozy. There was plenty of room to gather as a family and to escape alone with a good book. We were contacted by Sara the day before our scheduled arrival and continued to communicate throughout our stay. She was quick to respond to any questions and went over and above to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to stay at this property in the future. Thank you for making our family vacation one to remember!

Communication was excellent and beds were very comfortable. Felt like home. Nice welcome basket, and full size soap and large travel shampoo/conditioner in bathrooms was a welcome surprise. Kitchen well equipped. We were not at the house much, but it was very close to everything in Boone. Driveway would be tricky if roads were icy!

Great location

The house was perfect for our family of 5, but it could easily accommodate more guests. The pictures don’t do it justice. Very well stocked. Clean, cozy environment. The house looked beautiful in the snow. We loved the gas fire place.

Wonderful Christmas holiday

Our family had a wonderful holiday at this lovely, cozy home. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which was a delightful surprise. The fitpit outside was a huge hit with all the men. The fireplace inside was a huge hit with all the women. The kitchen was very well stocked for our son who cooked most meals. It was so convenient to have a laundry room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Fall Birthday Trip

Spent a long weekend in this lovely home. While we didn’t get the weather we ordered(it was rainy our first 3 days), the house was perfect for our trip. Very clean, comfortable and cozy home in great location for Blowing Rock and Boone. Thank you for the welcome basket and recommendations! Loved seeing deer in the backyard! Highly recommend and would book again❤️

All around wonderful experience.

We are Sara, Trey, Miles and Meredith Harb. We live in Charlotte, NC. Sara is originally from Winston-Salem and Trey grew up in Boone. We've been in Charlotte combined for over 30 years.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Trey spent his high school years in this house, while attending Watagua High; his mom was a professor at App State. He went on to graduate from App State. When she passed away, we renovated it and chose to keep the house and make memories in the mountains with our family!
