​​​​​​Welcome to Empire House Hideaway, your perfect spot to enjoy the largest ski resort in the United States. Nestled in the heart of downtown Park City, Utah, this little gem is a cozy, old-school mountain hideaway convenient to everything Park City has to offer in both winter and summer.

With its distinctive Victorian architecture and it's “Old Town” location directly across the street from Park City Mountain Resort, Empire House is a local treasure just 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. There are just 12 coveted units in Empire House and only two that offer two bedrooms and two baths, making Empire Hideaway a perfect winter and summer retreat for couples, families and other groups of six or fewer.

Open the front door and you are greeted by Park City Mountain. We are a three-minute walk to the base area, including the “First Time”, “Crescent” and “Payday” lifts. No loading or parking hassles, no fumbling with gear on stairs or an elevator. Just put on your gear and walk out the door. If you're a mountain biker, access the entire Park City Mountain trail system via the Crescent Lift, a one-minute ride out your front door. Need to rent a bike or skis? Cole Sport is a few minutes' walk down Empire Ave.

The Main Street district is a ten-minute walk. There, you can enjoy world-class dining, entertainment, shopping and “Park Silly”, an open-air artist market and street festival held on Sundays during the Summer. Are pickleball, tennis, basketball or skate and bike parks on your itinerary? Beautiful “City Park” is one block away.

Living Area
Enjoy a movie on a big-screen HD television, nestled on a huge, comfy sectional (that doubles as a sleeper) in front of a cozy gas fireplace. Stream your favorite tunes on the Bluetooth-enabled sound bar. A gorgeous shiplap accent wall creates a classic ski lodge vibe.

Kitchen Area
An open plan and pine cabinetry with authentic aspen log furnishings in the kitchen and dining area create a rustic chic ambience and encourage togetherness during mealtime. There are six comfortable settings in the dining/bar area and the kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with cookware and accessories to meet your culinary needs.

Bed and Bath
The Master Bedroom offers a king-size bed with a premium mattress, a flat screen TV and a charming bay window. The en-suite bathroom offers a shower and cozy soaking tub.
The guest room features a fun queen-over-full bunk bed, a wall-mounted flat screen TV and a bathroom with walk-in shower.

Really cannot beat the location of this property- 3 min walk to chairlift was super convenient esp with our 4yr old daughter and easy to hop on the shuttle for a quick ride to Main St! Would definitely book again!

Great location for a couples Park City vacation.

Really well maintained property ( the ceiling fan was not working well in one bathroom and they replaced it while we were there- great service). Nice gas fireplace. Pretty quiet even though we were on the bottom floor.

Amazing Location for Skiing Park City

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is perfect for a family of four and located across the street from Park City. Overall, it has all the basics you’d need for a stay; there was nothing we were left wanting or needing.A number of improvements should be considered though to make the experience 5-Star: - refrigerator is seriously off balance; opening the door results in the unit shifting forward by an inch or more. I’ve never experienced a major appliance so off-kilter (perhaps it is missing a balancing foot or something); - dishwasher is sub-par even using the recommended “scrape all, 1/4 cup vinegar, and dishwasher powder/pod; dishes would regularly come out dirty - main bedroom television is very, very old... a $150 replacement on Amazon would bring this DVD TV into the modern era. - dresser: there are no drawers in the second bedroom... just a closet. - dresser broken: the bottom drawer in the main bedroom is broken; combined with the above there is virtually no space to put clothes. - deep clean recommended; on the surface everything looks clean... however after being there for a bit you start to notice that anything not immediately visible is probably dirty (fans, shelves, pitchers on lower shelves)

Great place to stay while skiing in Park City. Easy walk to the slopes and Main Street. Clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect ski location

Perfect, cozy vacation home - spacious and clean. Walking distance to Mountain village can’t be beat. We didn’t have hot water for 24+ hours which was not ideal, but management had great communication.

Great location - poor management and customer service

We were subjected to 4 days without hot water in this location. Management offered to move us on day 2 after we were fully unpacked and groceries were stocked, which was extremely inconvenient and we were confident the issue would be resolved immediately, We had to shower at a remote location a block away, which was an incredible inconvenience. After all this, Turnkey management offered to refund us $185. I asked them to please reevaluate their proposed compensation and the would not budge. I have to laugh this one off....

Great stay in an amazing location. Fantastic rental for 2 couples looking to enjoy the slopes and downtown of Park City. Thin walls and noisy upstairs neighbors was the only downside. Would stay here again no question.

Fantastic Access to the Ski Resort

This is a great little condo in a clean building. The condo is well furnished, and the beds are all new/comfortable - even the pullout couch. The kitchen has everything one needs to have an enjoyable stay, and having a washing machine/dryer in the unit is a major plus. If you've been to Park City, you'll know parking is at a premium, so it's great to have parking garage access as well. This condo is located literally across from the main Park City Center Village parking lot. We were able to walk to and from the lifts in less than 3 minutes, and it's so close, we were able to return home each afternoon for lunch. We also could walk downtown in ten minutes, and there's a shuttle stop literally across the street from the condo if you don't want to walk. I would highly recommend this unit for families, and I would imagine it would be equally convenient for a summer trip as it was for a winter ski vacation.

Father - Daughter Ski Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was father - daughter ski trip with 3 girls. The proximity of the condo to Ski area was the biggest plus point of the condo. We had all the meals prepared and packed from home to make the breakfast and dinner manageable with young girls (6 yo, 10 yo, 10 yo). First night we discovered the microwave was overheating after heating 1 food item than would lock up for 15-20 mins until 2nd items can be heated. Turnkey home team had difficultly figuring out the microwave issue. After 3 different visits by the home team over 3 days, finally approval was sent for new microwave. Of 4 out of 5 days we stayed, I had such difficulty warming up food for the girls in timely manner. Each morning, I would wake up earlier to prep the food and dinners took extra time to get ready. Bunkbeds - The bed sheets had numerous hairs from prior guests. Luckily the girls discovered this. I washed all the sheets the first night. Really the hard part was having delayed flights to SLC, than coming to the condo late and cleaning the sheets pushed back the bed time for the girls to midnight. Remaining condo was in great shape. Bathroom, kitchen, living room, sofa, decor and garage had no issues. Heated garage is a plus point.

Great location!

This cozy little spot in a perfect location. Walking distance to the shops on Main Street and directly across from the ski lifts. Great communications with Turnkey. So close to restaurants and nightlife. Short drive to Salt Lake City and the salt flats. We would absolutely stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to be right in the middle of things in Park City.

Ski Weekend Getaway

We rented this property for 2 couples. There was plenty of room. The queen bed in the second bedroom was moved slightly to accommodate the second couple but otherwise the condo was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with most everything you could need. There were even some extras (coffee filters, spices, coffee, tea, plastic wrap, etc) that you don't always find in rentals. And there was enough toilet paper, paper towels & Kleenex to get us by. The location was fantastic - the ski resort is across the parking lot. We rented lockers and did ski valet every day to avoid lugging skis but you could without issue. We walked to the grocery store and to old town. We would definitely return to this condo.

Great condo in a fabulous location!

Being able to walk everywhere, even in winter, was fabulous! The condo was clean and spacious, fire place a nice feature. Location was the best, and with a patch of snow to play on in the front yard.

We stayed with three children and three adults and the accommodations were very nice. Kitchen was stocked with dishes and pans for cooking. Extra dish washing soap, washing tabs, dryer sheets, spices, toilet paper were all available and that made it very nice. There were humidifiers. A lovely gas fireplace which came on with the flip of a switch. I recommend this place!

We walked across the parking lot and went straight to the ski lifts. It was super convenient. The condo had every amenity you could want from nice cookware and plates/wine glasses to lots of fluffy white towels. There was even heated underground parking, so when we did drive, we never had to climb into a cold car. Overall, our family had a fantastic week-long stay in Park City!

Wonderful amenities for a multi-day stay and a very clean unit. In-unit washer/dryer, plenty of dishes, some multi-use food items were already in the unit (coffee, sugar, condiments, etc.). We just replaced what we used. Location for skiing is amazing - right across the parking lot from Park City Mountain Village. And the shuttles are very convenient to get anywhere in PC because you’re at a mini hub for the express shuttles. Town is about a mile away, but in PC you have to choose between downtown vs near the mountain. Only downside is that there is no on-location help. We had a couple minor issues (no blanket set for the fold-out couch, low toilet paper) that didn’t seem worth contacting HomeAway for. If you’re willing to roll with it a little (we grabbed a comforter from one of the beds and picked up TP at the store), it’s well worth it.

Great Ski location

Location, Location, Location

The best feature of this rental is it's ready access to the Park City Ski slopes. We were able to get up, get dressed, and walk to the mountain so easily! The size was perfect for our family of 4. We are all small people and I think taller adults and teenagers may feel cramped. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed, although some of the kitchen utensils and equipment were a bit out of date. The common area was comfortable. There were some guests staying above us the last few nights and we could hear them walking around and coming and going. The parking garage was conveniently located and relatively easy to access.
