It is definitely dated and could use some renovations like new furniture, work on the ceilings and appliance upgrades (the kitchen as a whole needs to be really cleaned and organized). We have stayed at many other condos in this development that were much nicer and better priced.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group has been coming to Hilton Head for the last 15 years. While there are nicer appointed condos in the same complex (which we have rented and enjoyed), the rooftop deck/view was worth any inconveniences. There is a musty/mothball smell in the first floor, the twin beds are definitely child sized and the water stains on that ceiling in that room may be contributing to the smell. The kitchen doesn’t have a chefs knife or a good cutting board. But overall, there isn’t anything that would keep us from renting again.

The upstairs deck patio was the best feature. Condo a bit outdated needs some updating with kitchen appliances. Master bath could use a new shower enclosure. But, all in all I would stay here again.

When we arrived we immediately noticed a mildew smell. By the Thursday of our stay the A/C quit. I noticed drain pan full of water, so I bailed the water out and the A/C started back up. Did this about every 8 hours till departure. When we got home noticed all clothes smelled strongly of mildew. Reported a/c issue on check-out.

Beds were comfortable. Furnishings were very dated but adequate. Strong musty smell that we eventually were able to minimize with opening windows at night for a bit. AC was great downstairs but upstairs bedroom struggled some. Price fair for overall experience. We'd come back.

Great Location

This condo is right on the beach with a beautiful view. Chair and umbrella rental available right at beach as you walk out. Condo is well equipped. You are easy walking distance to Coligney Plaza. I highly recommend renting bikes! So fun!

Superb view

The property is in the perfect location, steps.from the beach. The few from the patio was better than I expected. Bathrooms were not clean though. Found hair and a used tampon in the shower. Furniture needs to be cleaned.

One of the best locations on the island

Seashore is an amazing rental manager. Incredibly responsive, great communication, and extremely timely with their response to our air conditioner breaking at our property. The property is as-advertised but don’t expect any updates or special amenities. Amazing beach front view and location. Very dated decor, old carpet, and limited kitchen utensils for cooking. We came to the beach for the beach though! Morning coffee was great on the deck. We will most likely look for a more updated ocean view property next year.

Unit needs updating

We have been to ocean club complex before but this was our first time in this unit. It is in desperate need of an update concerning furniture and the carpet needs replacing due to stains! There was a musty smell that we noticed when we would return to the unit. We love the upper deck but did not have access to the balcony area facing the pool - it was dead bolted for some reason. We will definitely be back to ocean club complex because we love the location, the layout of the units, access to the beach and the feel of the area. We will just be more careful in researching the units.
