Fully Renovated 2024 Amazing Updates!

Sanibel Beach Escape is one house away from the most beautiful beach on Sanibel Island. Algiers beach is one of the most sought after vacation spots on Sanibel!

This home has undergone a beautiful remodel in 2024, including new open concept kitchen and living room. The home is exceptionally private (one of only 4 homes on the street).

There are 2 large master bedrooms with walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms and a guest bedroom with bunk beds and a queen bed. A third full bathroom is just outside the guest bedroom. All bedrooms complete with large flat screen TVs and cable. There is Sonos whole house audio inside and outside by the pool and outdoor dining area. The office can be closed off with a triple sliding pocket door and has an electric fireplace that also will heat the space if desired.

Brand new doors and windows throughout. There are also motorized blinds and interior plantation shutters throughout, for exceptional privacy. The house overlooks a private lagoon and the back deck is the perfect spot for morning coffee and wildlife viewing.

The private pool and spa will make you feel like you have your own private resort. Star gazing at night from the hot tub cannot be beat!

Other amenities include A/C, beach chairs, beach carts, umbrellas and beach toys. A simple phone call to one of the local rental shops also provides access to bikes, kayaks and paddle boards.

We had a lovely time. The walk to the beach was very reasonable and if you needed to drive there was always parking available.The home provides everything essential needed for a relaxing stay.

Absolute paradise!

We had such a wonderful stay at kristine and Kevin’s place. I cant say enough good things. Beds were comfortable. Shower was amazing. Kitchen was fantastic, and the view was amazing. Watching the wildlife from the entire back of the house was so peaceful. There was even a desk with a great view as my husband worked remotely. I would highly recommend this place

We rented this property for the second time. I can’t say enough about the property, location or ease of checking in. Kristine is a joy to work with and is extremely responsive. If you are staying on Sanibel Island, you won’t find a better property or host.

Not a great location and a very unfriendly and unhelpful host

The house inside is very nice. The location not so much. The host is unfortunately abrupt and not helpful at all. I would avoid.

Elaine, Unfortunately, you decided to visit Sanibel on the eve of a major hurricane. As a host, I took the responsibility to warn you and suggested you cancel in advance of your trip, but you chose not to and insisted on coming anyway. Shortly after your arrival, a mandatory evacuation order was issued for the island that cut your stay short. Through all of our preparation for the impending storm (we live on the island), you chose to harass us about a refund that we had voluntarily offered because you neglected to purchase trip insurance. You made your problem our problem during a very difficult situation and we did not appreciate that. So, yes, I was short with you. You were disrespectful over the course of our interactions which was disappointing given that we went above and beyond, despite VRBO policy, to refund you for a trip you never should have embarked on. As for the location, we are sorry you did not enjoy Sanibel and wish you the best. We do recommend you purchase trip insurance in the future and please do not make other VRBO hosts your fallback for your poor decisions.

Amazing month in Sanibel

We stayed for the month of February and the trip exceeded all expectations. The house was fresh and lovely - they have everything you could possibly need. I didn’t expect to use the pool so often with the beach a few steps away, but it ended up being our favorite thing about the house. The setting is a true paradise. My husband and I both worked from the lanai and the view of the palm trees and wildlife in the pond was an unexpected treat. Highly recommend renting bikes and exploring the trails. We did a 1hr roundtrip walk up the beach most mornings at sunrise to baileys at the sundial for coffee - many mornings dolphins would be swimming alongside. Last but not least, walking out to see the sunset every night on the beach was the cherry on top. We never left the island for 4 weeks and can’t wait to go back. The owners were always available and helpful with any questions.

Sanibel Proper

Our stay was outstanding. The house was immaculate and had everything you needed. It's unusual that one is torn between staying in the house or going to the beach, but with an all glass back wall and a beautiful pond glimmering in the morning sun the decision was tougher than you'd think. Osprey and storks greeted us good morning as we sipped on our first cup of coffee.Beds were super comfortable, showers spacious, two sinks in the bathrooms, a small work area (for the unfortunate), the biggest kitchen island ever (so you can put your family or friends to work prepping dinner) and everything is very clean.It's a beautiful home and we were very fortunate to live there for a month. We already re-upped for next year. And I cannot say enough about the owners/hosts. Fantastic people who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It meant a lot to us. Thank you Kristine and Kevin.Dave & Nancy

Awesome Beach House

We just returned from our stay, May 2021. I don't have anything but positive things to say about the house, the location and dealing with the owner. The house was very well equipped and exceeded the description provided. The location was a short walk to the beach (access through the condo complex that is between the house and the beach). The owners were responsive and extremely accommodating. We have traveled to Sanibel each year since 2015 (exception being 2020). This was by far our favorite property. We have already reserved a trip at this property in 2022.

Exquisite and Family Friendly

We stayed here for a month in June to quarantine and picked the perfect house. Beautifully remodeled and organized to feel luxe, light and airy and modern. Spacious, well thought out floor plan so everyone has their own space. A very short 4 minute, private walk to the uncrowned beach when you wanted to go. Otherwise, you can enjoy the feel of the island with the expansive view of the pond out the huge lanai windows-air conditioned lanai to watch wildlife all day. The private pool was beautiful, new and safely downstairs so our little kids had to have help getting to it. The owner answered all inquiries immediately and was very friendly and responsive. You won’t need to bring much here as they have pretty much anything you could need-baby stuff, yoga mats, pool toys, Sonos, beach equipment and more. Kristine, thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We are very grateful for the opportunity to experience Sanibel in such a peaceful and lovely setting.

Beautifully Redone

Don't let the unassuming outside fool you. The interior has been beautifully redone--new flooring, new kitchen, all bathrooms including two ensuites. Watch the wildlife and the sunrise from rear lanai. Have already booked for next year.

Superb location only 3 minutes from the beach

This house is in a perfect location only a 3 minute walk to the beach, the road it is on has hardly no passing traffic at all, making the property very private. The views from the sun terrace enable you to watch lots of wildlife, whilst sitting in a comfortable air-conditioned space. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to prepare your own meals if you so wish. Bedrooms were comfortable to sleep in, with plenty of beach towels and extra pillows/linen if required. The pictures of the swimming pool do not do it justice as the size if far larger than we thought it would be, which is a definite plus. Needless to say we have already booked for 2020. We would highly recommend this property.

Ideal location & beautiful property

This was our second year staying here and we already are hoping to go back again next year. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The beds and furniture are comfortable....the kitchen is nicer than ours at home....having a pool right outside your door is amazing. The beach is a very short walk and we go back and forth between the pool and beach all day. Renting bikes is easy and a great way to get around the island. We park the car the day we arrive and don't use it again until we head back to the airport. There is a seating area under the house which is very handy when it rains. We had some crazy weather and spent alot of time under there. The owners are very responsive and do whatever they can to make our visit the best it can be. We highly recommend this house!

Best Vacation Ever - beautiful house!

This house and location has everything you could want....private pool, walk to the beach, nearby to restaurants/shops, luxury bedrooms/bathrooms/kitchen. etc. It's well worth renting bikes as it's very easy to get around on the bike paths on the flat terrain. Sanibel island is incredible with tons of wildlife and you can walk for miles on the beaches. We would highly recommend this property. It's comfortable as well as beautiful and comes well equipped with anything you may need. The owners were quick to respond with any questions we had before and during.

Exceptional Holiday Home Exceeds all Expectations!

This spacious home offers all the modern amenities you will need in a wonderful location and setting. It has so much space for you and your family/friends to settle in and get comfortable in your large bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds/pillows and modern bathrooms . Highlights for us included the phenomenal open kitchen/sitting room;gorgeous sunroom where you can comfortably watch the wildlife through the wall of windows, now with automatic blinds; new pool area with hot tub accessible from sunroom...we loved this area so much that we didn't spend much time at the beach, even though it's just a short stroll away. We left feeling so spoiled...can't wait for next year!

For many years my parents created a yearly family tradition of having all their kids and grandkids to Sanibel. After 9 years they decided to buy a place for the whole family to enjoy. Dad personally built the kitchen cabinets up in Boston and we painted them and shipped them down and installed them. They had to be deinstalled after Ian while the house was gutted and thankfully we were able to save them! This house holds a lot of good memories for us and hopefully will for you too.
