Enjoy a riverside fire while watching Freighters pass 200 yards in front of this cozy retreat that features 1 bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, a modern bathroom with a shower, and an additional sleeping space with a sofa bed. Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, a washing machine and heating, during your stay. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our house. This property features a private beach with a shallow bay for swimming and two kayaks. Only a 5 minute drive to downtown Sault Ste. Marie, featuring the Soo locks.

Our stay was absolutely amazing!! The house was exactly what we needed. The host was very hospitable and accommodating. Very peaceful, quiet, relaxing getaway. Saw lots of ships go by and close to town. Can't wait to come back!

Great stay for our family and close to town to see the locks and dine. We had a peaceful night by the fire stargazing and watched the moonrise. The freighters were fun to watch as well!

Great location in the Soo. House is big enough for a small family like ours. Nice sandy beach area right on the river with colored rocks you'd expect in the UP.

The place was sparkling clean and had everything you needed in the kitchen. The owner left a basket of snacks and juice in the fridge and everything for s’mores. Excellent location for viewing the freighters and to the locks. Met the host she was very friendly. Thank you for sharing your place

The property was super clean and very comfortable. The view of the freighters on the St. Mary's River was amazing! We loved sitting by the water with a nice fire to keep us warm. The dry firewood provided was excellent since we had a lot of rain during our stay. All the little touches like snacks and smores fixin's were very much appreciated.

This is a very comfortable place. It isn't fancy, but neither are we. We were impressed with all the amenities, the neighborhood, and especially the ability to view the freighters passing by. Communication and access were extremely smooth.

Charming cottage right on the water where you can see the big ships pass by! The host left snacks and smores supplies for guests which was such a nice surprise. The place was perfect for a small family get away. We would definitely recommend!

Great Stay

Nice and cozy little place. The owner is very attentive and responds to messages almost instantly. House had all the essentials plus some treats for us when we arrived. We will definitely be staying here again. The kayaks were great too!

Cute little house. Clean and quiet. Watching the freighters go by in the front yard was amazing. We saw six go by and missed a few more. They are amazingly quiet! House was well stocked and comfortable. Would stay again!

Ryan is the son of the team and lives a few miles down the road. We look forward to having you as guests and for you to enjoy the beautiful Sault Ste Marie.

We have lived in this area for many years and enjoy the wonderful neighbors and freighters passing closely by. We are just outside of the City of Sault Ste. Marie limits but still very close to town. We enjoy having fires by the river and kayaking.
