Everything was perfect when we arrived. It was a very lovely cabin in a nice neighborhood. It was just the right distance that you felt like you had peace and quiet, but very close to town if we needed anything. We had no problems checking in or out and the rental company made sure we knew we could call them if we needed anything. I would recommend staying and I hope to stay here again on our next visit.

We had such a great time during our stay and the cabin was everything we had hoped for. The kids loved the hot tub and the kitchen was well equipped to prepare just about anything. Everything was working and tidy. I don't know about the upstairs bedroom (the boys seemed to sleep just fine), but the downstairs bedroom mattress could use an upgrade. We're not large people and we sank so low into it, it was hard to sit up! Other than that, I would highly recommend. Proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is fantastic. We loved it. Oh, don't take the warning to lock your car doors lightly. Our son drove his jeep up and didn't lock it and a bear broke in and got all his snacks. Miraculously it didn't destroy the vehicle, but it was a muddy mess!

We were extremely happy. Only 2 veru small things, we feel could have been done...clean the awesome windows inside and out and the sectional couch did not hook together so it constantly slid apart. But truly it was awesome and we loved it!!

I personally would have loved to be higher in the mountains to get a better view. We did drive up higher in the community to get a nice background to take some pictures. There were no major complaints...just some blinds were missing from the window and back doors. The property was close to everything. I will definitely consider staying again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful experience at this cabin. The cabin needs some updating as the beds, furniture and appliances are very old. The beds really need replaced. They are old and very uncomfortable. However, the cabin was very nice and we loved it. I would stay here again without a second thought. It was very private even though there is a cabin on both sides. They are offset, so you have privacy. The hottub was really nice. We loved this cabin overall, and I would highly recommend it. Just needs those updates, especially the beds.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time renting a cabin in the Smokey Mountains. The cabin was very easy to find and convenient to all Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge activities! The only problem with our cabin was with the sleeper sofa. When my son tried to use it to sleep, we found the springs were close in poking out from the mattress and there were many crumbs. So therefore, our sleeping arrangements had to change. We thought the cabin could be a little cleaner. Otherwise, the rental management was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend the cabin to a friend or relative. We hope to come back sometime in the near future.

Quick Getaway

We came into town for a quick getaway. The cabin was about as expected. However the bed in the master is hard as a rock, and the pillows were thin, so didn't get very restful sleep. The hot tub was very slippery due to it being dirty, so it could use a freshen up. The location of the cabin is perfect as we love Sherwood forest and how close it is to Pigeon Forge and how easily accessible it is.

Get a new mgmt partner

This property was in a great location and would have been great except for the cleanliness of the house and the outside yard area. In the yard were broken styrofoam containers, plastic bags still with contents, paper, a Christmas wreath, a broken deck chest, the lower deck was dilapidated and roped off...just trashy. The upper deck was decent but with cobwebs all over. Inside the house was generally clean but with areas clearly not well taken care of. The bathrooms, floors and drains specifically, were not clean at all. There were also cobwebs overhead in most rooms. Unfortunately, there was a rain storm that caused a “freak occurrence” leak onto one of the beds, for which we got an apology (gee, thanks). It was icing on the cake that the replacement linens and blankets were worn and stained (or dirty!)... We’re regulars to the area, and this is the worst cabin experience any of my party can remember. We will not be patrons of Aunt Bugs Cabin Rentals again.

Perfect get away!

The code to the gate did not work though. luckily someone came out of the gate and we were ale to get in and get the correct code. Also, the hot tub didn't work when we first got there, we had to turn the breaker off then on but we got it turned on almost as soon as we got there.

ok for the price

The pool is just around the corner the cabin is super close to the attractions in pigeon forge. When we got there it just looked like it needed deep cleaned like webs in the ceiling and dirty upstairs room fan. The pool table was nice. The hot tub was amazing! But one very bad thing was the beds they were so uncomfortable. The sleeper sofa would be good for kids only. Kitchen was nice with the disher washer and the fridge had an icemaker. In all it was good for the money.
