The pictures do not do this place justice! It is super close to downtown Gatlinburg, like a 3-5 min drive, yet still offers a beautiful view. This place is not managed by some company, it is the actual owners, so everything was super clean and perfect. And she is super nice and accommodating. We even saw a bear in the driveway one day. We will definitely be booking this place again.

We came to Tennessee for vacation this year something different away from the beaches we tend to go to each year. I have to say that I never knew some place could be so beautiful and better than the beach. We loved sitting on the deck facing the Smokies in the evening and morning with our coffees; and the deck in the front where the fenced in dog area was watching our dog romp around the yard. The house was spotless when we arrived and smelled so fresh. The hot tub was already turned on and the inside of the cabin was a comfortable temperature. We really enjoyed sitting in the upstairs sun room each night before bed. The bed was super comfy. Additionally, the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, spices, plates, and everything one would ever need. We did use the grill on two occasions which was a nice item to have shrimp & steak shush kabobs and hammers & hot dogs another. Sorry I got super long winded but I just wanted to convey how much we enjoyed Stacy & Matt’s home. Thank you for a great vacation.

Beautiful

This large cottage was just what we needed to have a restful trip. The cottage was lovely and very clean. The view was magnificent! The house, porch, and yard were pet friendly. The location was close to attractions in Pidgen Forge. We would love to go again.

Very nice vacation

The cabin was absolutely spotless. View is amazing. Seen bears two different times right from the deck and again when leaving to come home. Parkway got a little noisy but that is the only thing not positive we can say.

We had a great time here. Very comfortable and private. Our little dogs enjoyed it too. The small fenced in yard was perfect for them.

Gatlinburg getaway

This is THE cleanest place we have ever stayed in… The property is beautiful and I can’t say enough positive things about it. This was our 2nd stay and hope to return next year. It was easier to find this year but still definitely up and around some curves on the mountain … our Jeep got us there easily. We used the hot tub this year and it also appeared very clean. The bed was also very comfortable! We have seen bears nearby both times we have stayed. It is close to a main road and the porch has spectacular views. Communication with the owners was also easy. We love this place!

Perfect getaway!

Cavies Cove boasts a BEAUTIFUL view of the mountains. The covered porch and sitting room were perfect places to spend the mornings/evenings enjoying the view. The cabin was extremely clean and looked exactly as pictured. You can tell the owners take great pride in their cabin. If you’ve never driven up mountain roads, getting to the cabin can be an adventure! I recommend using the Cove Mountain road. Beautiful getaway close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, would love to stay again!

Fun & Relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was a nice house! The upstairs gets a little warm in the heat of the day, luckily we had a box fan with us. Overall, it was a great place to stay and in the perfect location. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Trip

This was my second trip to this property. I love staying here. The views are fantastic and the cabin is so welcoming. I will continue to book at this cabin for every Tennessee stay! 100% recommend staying here for some of the most beautiful views, cozy cabin and lots of wildlife.

Spring Break Get Away

This cabin was fantastic for my husband and daughter and I. It was clean and had great views. The drive up to the house was windy and steep…it was easy to find but a little scary when we arrived in the dark. We had a great week. Thanks for a great stay!!

Great Adventure

Beautiful property! The woodwork and decor in the cabin is stunning. Well equipped kitchen. Also, very nice to have a safe area to let out your pup. The drive up to the cabin was quite an adventure! Was our first time driving in the mountains. So good that the actual parking area was flat making turn around and unpacking easy. Highly recommend!

If you’re thinking about booking, 100% DO IT!

After driving 10 hours, walking onto the porch to see the breathtaking (literally) view made it all worth it! Pictures just don’t do it justice, and they’re beautiful. The cabin was spotlessly clean and well kept up. It is cozy and well decorated and you can really tell that the owners love it. I have never stayed in a place that allows pets that doesn’t smell like dogs, but this one has no odor except clean. The beds are extremely comfortable and so is all of the furniture throughout the house. The distance from the cabin to gatlinburg and pigeon forge is about 15 minutes, if that, which made our trip even better. The cabin had everything we needed and we didn’t need to go out and buy a whole bunch. Matt and Stacy are super kind and even called a week ahead of time to talk to me about our trip. Check in and check out were also extremely simple. I have no complaints about our trip other than it was too short! We loved the cabin so much that we spent our last day just enjoying the view from the porch! We 100% will be back if Matt and Stacy will have us!! Book it, you won’t be disappointed!!

Beautiful view

The house was clean and nice! I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a Christmas tree but we still enjoyed our stay.. heads up.. the road up to the cabin was a little tricky for a big truck but we managed… overall very satisfied!

Perfect vacation rental

Exactly as described. Beautiful views. Owners are so friendly amd genuine. Minutes from Gatlinburg. You wont regret staying here. Dog friendly with a fenced in dog yard

Very pet friendly!

We had an awesome day not only did the Cabin accommodate for our little fur babies we also got to see five or six bears in total three of the witch walked right past our front porch there’s such beautiful animals and it was so amazing we would definitely consider renting again. The cabin is located in a really good place as it is not far from pigeon Forge or from Gatlinburg we enjoyed both places very much. We also got to communicate with the owners in person which was really nice they were very nice people and very accommodating to us.

Anniversary Getaway

This cabin was so perfect for the two of us. There is definitely room for more people if necessary. There is a nice deck and perfect fenced in area for our dog. This was the cleanest place we've stayed in (up there with Disney). There was a hot tub and jacuzzi that looked so nice and clean but we didn't have the chance to use them. Our map had a hard time finding the place but we finally made it. I hope to stay there every year and the hosts were so welcoming. And yes, we saw a bear :)

A Great Find!

The cabin was clean, as described and pictured and in a great location for us. Many extras were provided that we’ve never had at other rentals. We travelled with a small dog and very much appreciated the enclosed fence area and the amenities provided for pets. Communication was simple and timely. Check in was a breeze. Overall a great find and a great experience. We’d definitely love to visit again. As an aside, the owners were doing a number of renovations on the sister property mentioned in this listing. If you’re looking for a larger space to accommodate more people, I’d check it out. Looks like you’ll enjoy newly refinished decks, fans and more.

You will not regret it!! Whether you plan to relax and enjoy the views and hot tub, or if you plan on having some local fun. We had an amazing honeymoon doing a little of both. Matt and Stacy are wonderful hosts and we definitely plan on coming back.

Beautiful view!!!

This cabin has a beautiful view!!! We took many pictures off the balcony just so that we would never forget it. We brought our small dog who had as much fun as we did! This is a cabin that is affordable, yet has many amentities. We would definitely rent this cabin again. The owners are people who care about pleasing their guests, and it shows in the cabin.
