We were very excited for this stay and it by far surpassed our expectations. It is a beautiful property with so many things to enjoy from relaxing in a hammock, to paddling the river, to even spending time on the pickleball court.The cabin was well kept and had a nice lay out out, giving off a very cozy, inviting environment. The host, Ed, is very kind-hearted and ensured we always had what we needed. We hope to return again some day. Thanks Mr. Ed!

Great family get away

Great location, our family, including the dog, had a great time. So much to do right on the property...fishing, kayaks, canoes, horse shoes, etc.

Wonderful Secluded Getaway

It was an amazing first vacation for our children, we didn’t even leave the property but to grocery shop because there was so much to do!

Perfect Getaway Spot

Ed was a wonderful host, that truly cares about the people that stay on his property. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway. Will be visiting again and would recommend it to everyone.

Our trip to this cabin was beyond everything we imagined. It was only of the prettiest places to visit. Ed was beyond helpful and made sure our stay was fantastic.

On the Wabash River

Pictures don’t do the setting justice. The property is a lovely getaway from city life with peaceful surroundings. In addition, lots of nice amenities for children and adults to play outdoor games and canoes/kayaks available. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Far exceeded our expectations

My wife and I were just looking for a nice relaxing getaway, we definitely got that and absolutely loved everything about the property! We stayed in the Portabella cabin and it was perfect. Ed was great and really cares about every detail of the Morels and taking care of his guests! Had a wonderful time and look for to going back many more times!

Outstanding

The grounds are beautiful. The breeze off the river keeps the bugs at bay and the sunsets are spectacular. The property manager, Ed, is the nicest and most attentive manager I've ever dealt with. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful and perfect getaway!

Wonderful stay! Ed is a excellent host! There was fresh fruit, bread, eggs and a cake waiting for us along with a chilled bottle of wine and a roaring fire! We had many adventures exploring the area, including France Park and Kokomo Beach Adventures. Thank you Ed! Your property and extra attention made for an excellent vacation.

Fantastic Time

We stayed here for a few days for our anniversary and had an amazing experience! Ed was an excellent host and offered many suggestions on what to do during our stay. Whether it was kayaking on the river or relaxing in the hot tub we were never without something fun to do. Ed being so helpful and accommodating made our stay even more worthwhile. He even had a cake and card for us for the our anniversary day! We would love to stay here again, next time with the family!

Weekend getaway

Had a two day college reunion with 4 of us. Great, secluded location with a lot of privacy. Owner had a camp fire going with minor maintenance, and lasted the whole time (even through rain). Cabin is small, but really only used it to sleep/play cards. Did sleep 4 of us comfortably. Nice relaxing weekend.

Perfect place, fabulous host, great times!!!

You will not find a more magnificent host than Ed. The grounds and cabin were emaculate, the cupboards were supplied with all the essentials and there was the best home baked pie waiting for us upon check in. We had so much fun watching the beautiful river and taking in the wildlife. Watching the stars at night from the warm relaxing hot tub was a little slice of heaven. We had a phenomenal time and will definitely be back! Until next time Ed!!

Perfect Getaway

Don't know where to begin the owner Ed is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet , when you arrive he welcomes you and gives you a little history on the area and all the sights and restaurants that are good. Then he shows you the cabin and its absolutely beautiful he has a fresh pie baked for you and wine and beer waiting . The entire property is well manicured and very clean we really loved sitting outside watching the river go by and seeing the blue herons . If you need to just plain relax go to vrbo get this cabin and you'll never forget it.
