Welcome to SUPERIOR SUNRISE — A Bright & Cozy Tiny Home Retreat in Christmas, MI
Just off the scenic M-28 in the heart of Christmas, SUPERIOR SUNRISE is a bright and cheerful tiny home designed to be your relaxing haven after a day exploring the breathtaking beauty of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
Painted a sunny yellow that mirrors the warmth inside, SUPERIOR SUNRISE is one of two tiny homes nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, just blocks from the shores of Lake Superior. Set on its own private lot, the home offers convenient parking, soft outdoor lighting, a picnic table, and a firepit stocked with wood and kindling—perfect for cozy evenings by the fire. A shared gas grill is also available for outdoor meals under the stars.
Step inside and you’ll find warm pine interiors from the Upper Peninsula, bathed in natural light. The tall dormer ceiling adds a spacious feel, while charming ceiling fans gently circulate the air for comfort. In the bedroom, sliding glass doors open to the outside, letting in morning light and offering a serene way to greet each day.
Rest easy on a plush queen-sized bed with quality linens. The full bathroom features a tiled shower, fresh towels, and complimentary toiletries for your comfort.
The thoughtfully designed kitchen includes a deep farmhouse sink with a commercial faucet and hot water tap, an induction cooktop, retro-style fridge/freezer, microwave, air fryer/toaster oven, and a Keurig coffee maker with pods and tea bags for cozy mornings.
Whether you're kayaking the crystal-clear waters, hiking forest trails, or simply unwinding with a good book by the fire, SUPERIOR SUNRISE is the perfect home base—comfortable, charming, and full of heart.

This project has been a labor of love for our Family. The tiny homes are owned by siblings, Joni and Paul. Joni is a nurse in Flint, Michigan and Paul is a barber in Detroit's Corktown. We come up and stay with our farther who lives in Munising every chance we can Our Uncle David manages and cleans the homes with help from his wife, our Aunt Stacy. Stacy also does the buying for and manages The Pictured Rocks Cruise line gift shops and Interpretive Center.

4 lot campgrounds and a few private residences make up the small, quiet neighborhood surrounded by wilderness.. Our father's VVA Clubhouse is across the street. Our dad is there every morning cooking breakfast for anyone who wants to eat or hang out
