Great location, close to city and beach and dolphin watching. Hostess was amazing and place was very clean. Plenty of clean towels and extra amenities i.e coffee, tea, lawn chairs for the beach. Overall one of my best experiences.

From the moment I spoke with our host Teresa, I knew our stay would feel like home. In all of our rental experiences, we have never felt so cared for. She was readily available for any questions, and her kindness was so welcoming. There was nothing we lacked during our stay. She thought of everything from a stocked kitchen to all you need to have a great day at the beach. There were stunning views out every window. It was the perfect location to watch the sailboats and water sports during the day and the most remarkable sunsets at the end. It was the perfect place for our family to gather and a very hard place to leave.

What a beautiful place to stay and such a gracious host! I have never stayed in a place where the host cared so much about her property. Teresa met us the day of check-in, showed us the ropes and made herself available the whole time we stayed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings, the sun porch in the evenings and the dock at sunset. We hope to go back soon.

Our stay was fantastic. We were here to celebrate our daughter's wedding. Teresa was a fantastic host. She met us at the house to welcome us and give us all the information we needed. We loved having use of the dock and rented a boat for several days. The house was fully stocked. It felt just like we were at home. We highly recommend staying here and we look forward to coming back.

Thank you! Private and quiet is exactly what I highlight about the "Sunset" House. And that's hard to find especially during peak seasons with many travelers finding out about our special Island. I'd say that this space is a pretty good "hiding spot" when you're over the crowds and excited neighbors.

We loved this place. The host was there to greet us when we arrived and show us around the house. The kids loved the dock and being able to see Dolphins every day. I highly recommend this place. I think we will be back again next year.

The perfect getaway!

Having a house while on vacation makes all the difference! Perfect location: easy to walk downtown and restaurants, a beautiful view, and lots of parking and storage for water toys! We had a ton of space to relax and read in the evenings - the dock was one of our favorite parts of the house! Teresa was a great host - responsive and accommodating! We’d love to stay again!

Great location

The house is in a quiet, safe neighborhood- all of Folly is safe. We most enjoyed the river views. The dock was nice for fishing, seeing sunsets and dolphins.The house is nice, decent. Needs some updating all around, but overall accommodations were good.

Perfect spot!

The house was perfect - beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful. We loved all of the places to sit and watch the water! So many spots to relax and rest. A wonderful weekend all around.

Thanks Becky for taking time to share your thoughts about Folly and my home. I hope you had time to appreciate everything, Folly and the "Sun Set" house has to offer. as I know you were busy with work and had to come and go. Good thing you weren't too far from your home and office! I did have an opportunity to meet your daughter and son. They were a pleasure and seemed to be having a nice time. We are fortunate back in our "little corner" to have only 1 neighbor somewhat near by but not nearly as close as most houses on the beach. That is what most of my guest enjoy and appreciate. which really helps with parking multiple cars and trailers which can be quite challenging. at times. Anyway, it was so nice to meet you and your family and I hope to see you next year. Teresa

Excellent Alternative to Folly Beach Houses

The house was great. The house was stocked better than any house we have ever rented with everything from cooking utensils to face cleaner in the bathrooms. It was a great opportunity to have my boat at the dock and do water sports and experience the beach (although our week was extremely hot!). Teresa was a great host and you can bet we will be back next year with the family vacation.

A great place to stay..

Hostess was very helpful with activities and local attractions. The property was ideal location being close enough to walk to beaches and all local shops but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet evenings with fabulous sunsets and star gazing. Dock has plenty of water at low tide and convenient to public launch. No regrets, hope to stay there again!

Wonderful week

The whole family stayed together and we had a wonderful time with the children, their spouses and all the grandchildren. The dock was fantastic I am sure the memories will last.

Boveine Reserveation

The views and wildlife were spectacular. The house is well anointed and has ample space for everyone. Renting golf carts was the finishing touch to make a wonderful vacation.

Enjoyed And Coming Back

Enjoyed our stay and family is planning on coming back. Location is all walking distance to the tourist center and the beach. Best of all is we had the dock all to ourselves. Fishing and crabbing anytime family was back from having an outside meal. The host was very accommodating and made sure our stay was as relaxing and enjoyable the best that she can provide.

UD mini-reunion

Teresa is a great host! She and her daughter greeted us and made us feel very welcome. She is very attentive and quick to respond with any questions. Her home is beautiful and well appointed. The location is perfect, close enough to beaches and restaurants, but quiet and secluded for your visit.
